In the shadows of Levi's and in the middle of suburbia, a small piece of wilderness born in the middle of an old golf course. Free parking, lots of nature.
Lush green and a great place to take a walk or run during lunch. It's amazing that there is nice natural trail in the middle of all the high tech companies. I hope the city will keep it as is.
Great place to go and clear your mind. Extremely peaceful
the fragrances, I think eucalyptus ... in December (and maybe year round) are Amazing !! esp. when walking through after sunset when the fog sets in.
What a hidden gem. I never knew such a nice area was back there.
On a weekday morning street parking was easy. The trail was great for my 14 mo the old to walk and he had so much fun exploring. On leash dogs are allowed so this would be a great place for a family hike.
It's an amazing experience with the nature ,the bird's and the piece in Ulistac Natural Area !!
Beautiful quite cozy preseve in the midst of silicon valley!
Nice quiet interesting place for a walk. Good view of the Guadalupe River from the levee.
Seems to be vital bird habitat -- needs to be 10 times bigger. If Google is adding a big location near there, maybe they can help.
This place is really cool. I live right by it and didn't know it was there for like 8 months. That's probably a good thing. It wouldn't be as nice if it had heavily traffic.
Ulistac is a perfect tiny natural area along the Guadalupe. Great plant variety and even creating habitat for monarchs! Fun to walk the trails or use it to access the Guadalupe River Trail.
Great place to visit, either for a little bit of exercise, breathing of fresh air, or observing the nature.
This nature preserve is sacred to me. So peaceful and beautiful. I m especially fond of the native plants garden. An herbal treasure in Silicon Valley.
This is a nice place to visit with a semi-wild feel to it. It is largely undeveloped and there is an easy flat network of dirt paths. There is a nice garden full of native plants for pollinators. I would like to see more of the native habitat restored here.
I like this area , only too much traffic and people drive too fast on his street
A great time of year to visit. Especially the butterfly and bee garden. Lovely flowering indigenous plants. What a find in an urban setting.
Great native California plant exhibition. Good place to walk your dog, on leash.
There's only roadside parking here. The park is a bit small, but quite pretty. A lot of people with photography equipment. At the back of the park there is a dike that you can go up and walk along. It's scenic and peaceful
Beautiful little restored natural area with lots of informational placards describing the local flora and fauna, easy level walking trails through groves of native and exotic trees and flowers, shrubs, etc.
Nice trail. No play area. But there is park on opposite side of the road.
A very nice park to ride skates, bike, take children to play. It has sports courts.
I've driven past Ulistac for almost 20 years. Never took the time to stop and check it out. What a mistake! This is a magical place to have a walk. Birds and birdsong galore, natural habitat full of fragrant plants, clean walking paths all there to explore. This place is a real gem and I'll now be visiting more often and in all seasons.
Beautiful trail for a breathe of fresh air. You'll occasionally spot some feral cats.
This is a tiny tiny park on one side of the Guadalupe River between San Jose and Santa Clara. There isn't much to do here, but it's usually very quiet and peaceful, and there are some interesting wildlife sightings here and there.
There's also a small eucalyptus grove that gives off a nice scent
Lovely, quiet place to walk on dirt trails. I use a rolling walker and it was successful on most of the trails. Many interesting kinds of birds, a good place to listen to them. I never did see the hermit thrush our group leader mentioned, but I do have some good photos of a golden crowned sparrow. I was there as part of a bird language workshop hosted by San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory. My only complaint is I could not find easily any disabled parking close to the area.
Very cool place to take a walk, get some alone time, and just enjoy nature. Take some extra water on hot days.
Best part about living in Bella Vista is access to Ulistac
Nice place for walking and recreation in the natural environment.
Beautiful, great place for family or solo time, any one can come
Never crowded, parking available right outside the park.
Here I have not passed by the street but very soon we will go to this beautiful park with my son and his dad
Native plants visable and kept up by volunteers. Several short trails and access to Guadalupe river trail. No services or restrooms. (Only two garbage cans one at each entrance)
In the shadows of Levi's and in the middle of suburbia, a small piece of wilderness born in the middle of an old golf course. Free parking, lots of nature.
Hidden gem on the border between north San Jose and Santa Clara.
Clean and safe ,must try whenever you are in mood to de stress
Super clean ....very beautiful maintained landacape

Gorgeous place. And the trail is nice too go running , nike riding or just take a walk
Park is located right next to Guadalupe river. This are popular with bird watchers and nature lovers. There is access to Guadalupe River Trail. There are several trees and plants in this area. Parking is close by to the park. Generally not very busy here.
Ulistac Natural Area in Santa Clara is a nice little gem with a bunch of trails in an area with lots of native plants. The trails connect to the Guadalupe River Trail along the Guadalupe River. You can leave Ulistac Natural Area and come back after taking the long loop. A hidden gem in Santa Clara. Must visit in the evenings. Roadside parking available.
Beautiful and tranquil right next to a busy part of the city (close to Great America and Levi's stadium). Ended up here while waiting for the vaccination and it was a quick and calming stroll. There is street parking but also across the road is a park with additional parking.
It's a cool area to run, jog, walk or catch Pokemon.
There are 2 gyms here and a lot of Pokestops, so trainers buckle up and go go go!
Liked the lower trail which goes next to Guadalupe river
Great place for local birds and wildflower watching!
Perfect place to observe some birds and native plants. The site director Dennis is very friendly, he always can walk you around showing interesting spots and telling you stories
A very nice trail to walk through. Pleasant weather during the summer. Good place to do a photoshoot as well.
Dry at this time of the year, not too many trees to look forward to. The Guadalupe river is a narrow stream as well...

Feels like very natural habitat, and they have maintain ed it well.
Nice little walk. Informational boards throughout the nature area. It goes in a loop and you can reach it from the Guadalupe river trail.
Liked the lower trail which goes next to Guadalupe river
A beautiful 40 Acre Natural Area with well maintained trails. I was there in April so the trees and flowers were blooming. A lot of birds seen throughout my walk. A nice variety of local vegetation. There were a number of groups of volunteers there on this particular Saturday morning working on maintaining the area. While there are the sounds of civilization close by you can immerse yourself in your walk and enjoy this little piece of pure nature.
