Friendly staff and clean facilities. One of the cleanest I've ever been to.
Decent gym, good pool. The kids running the front counter aren t the brightest bunch but you can t expect much from them. If you bring a friend it s absurdly overpriced. Still, good facilities.
If you are not a student, but you know someone who is, you can still come and work out here. When I went it was a $5 charge, plus signing a waiver, and having a valid photo ID. California driver's license or California ID card worked fine I'm assuming a passport doesn't also. The facility is very nice with an indoor track upstairs, that runs around in the circle. But be careful if you're running on the track because there is a tendency for some loose balls to end up running around on the track with you. The track is less than one lap around normal track in length. So you'll be bringing a lot of circles but it's still better than the check me out. Take the stairs up and down that you're Center, the pool is beautiful, and the facilities are nice and clean. I could not find a sauna or steam room but still love this place I think my friends who are letting me use his school membership as a chance for me to visit the Anteater Recreation Center , I think that if you were not there I would not be able to have gone in but if this is not the case please advise me and I will change my review.
I wish I was a student again so I could work out here. 24 does not compare.
Well equipped gym, friendly staffs, pool facility, and lots of different games. One of the best things about UC Irvine.
Great facility. Wide variety of equipment and machines. Can be crowded but it's usually not that bad in the mornings.
When you enter the building, a giant anteater greets you and shakes your hand and offers u a jar of fire ants
Love the ARC! Just wish there were better (cheaper?) ways for alumni from other UC's to use it
