Upon arrival, the hostess who greeted had unfortunate news that our reservation was not ready. We arrived a few minutes early and was told to wait ten minutes before our table would be ready. We waited ten minutes after our reservation and still was not seated. Before leaving I talked to the manager to express our disappointment. We expect a resturant of this caliber to properly manage their reservations.

We are quickly becoming regulars and I don't feel even a little bad about it. The French Dip is the best I've ever had. The grilled vegetable salad is awesome, the thai salad is good, and the burger is next on my list. TF has a really great staff that even found an answer to a question about recycling that my fiance and I were discussing.

We hadn t been to Twisted Fork in quite a while.
We stopped in on Saturday night and decided to sit in the bar and share a couple small plates.
All I can say is.....WOW!!!
The small plates were fantastic and plenty to share. Great flavors and a good selection to choose from.
The bar has a great selection of beers and a good wine list.
The bartender ( Andy ) was very attentive and gave us great service.
We will be back soon to try more options on the menu.

THE MANAGEMENT SUCKS!!! Been there a few times with a fairly large group. Most of us are professional people, we are not loud or demanding and we all have smiles on our faces. We were there last Fri. night (about 15 of us) for happy hour and dinner. After we received our food, the manager, a black woman just marched up to our table with a very stern look on her face flat told us they would not give us separate checks after our waitress said that would not be a problem, no smile, no thank you, just real bitchy. Then, one of our group wanted to put his $30 portion of the bill on his credit card, They did that and also put an additional $140. on his card for a total of $170,00., his bank is helping him with that!! The food was OK, the waitress was fine, the manager sucked. I even talked to the gen. mgr. and he didn't seem to care what I had to say!! WE WILL NEVER GO BACK.

This was once a fan favorite, but no longer. The quality of food, service and overall environment has decreased over time. Their menu has plenty to select from for a meal, but the presentation and taste are not great. Service overall was just okay, nothing exciting and far from pleasant.

I used to rave about this place. I guess its only to rave about their lunch menu! We had dinner on Monday. Upon a short wait, we were sat down and greeted immediatley with waters and a few minutes later, warm bread and better! YUM! We are looking at the menu for a good 10-15 minutes before we were greeted by our server to take drink orders. We ordered a Sprite and juice for my 4 yr old. She comes back with drinks about 10 minutes later. We have questions about the menu. One being the Diablo shrimp pasta. We asked if there were any veggies in it? Our waitress just the sauce, shrimip and pasta. He asked if he could add bell peppers or some veggies.. She said they do not have bell peppers. So, he passes on that and orders the New York steak. Salad was delicious, bread was warming, drinks were refilled graciously. We get our main courses. His New York Steak looked and smelt so yummy with a veggie kabob on top of polenta. Guess what was on the veggie kabob? BELL PEPPERS! Whatever, no big deal. He cuts into his steak (orders medium rare) This was truly really rare to the point of no juicies and looked like seared ahi tuna. I told him to return it but my 4 yr old was about over sitting there. My salmon was just OK. No huge flavor. Not worth the $$. I think we will stick to lunch here! Best mac and cheese, salads, wings, and sandwiches.

Vegan, vegetarian or regular eaters will make a perfect choice for lunch or dinner. They cater to all diners , even little ones. Delicious and clean. Servers are a little stressed out due to the crowds. Reservations are recommended. Hour wait otherwise. Fabulous place.

We decided to give Twisted Fork a second chance today for lunch and glad we did. Ordered the turkey burger and the pear and apple salad. Both delish. Turkey burger was moist and came piled high with added flavor -- sauteed mushrooms, pesto sauce, tomatoes and Avo. Poached pear on salad was done well. Friendly service.

We live about 65 miles away in Fallon. So when we come to Reno we usually go to the same places. Decided to venture out and try a place neither have been. So glad we did.! Super fast service, from the bread to appetizers to main course, it was all fabulous. Recomend Pastor tacos and the halibut, and also the espresso burger.

Great spot on the edge of town, worth the trip from the Peppermill. Service was great and attentive. I had the ribeye with an egg, fantastic plate.

The cauliflower ceviche was a clean dish with bright flavors. Simple decor let the food shine.

If you're a broke college kid, don't go here.

If you're a broke college kid, don't go here.

Beautiful place and really fun menu. However, the prices are a bit higher than what you would pay on a regular meal at home. The Twisted Fork is sophisticated, so save your night here on a fancy night out if you're on a small budget. My friends didn't know anything on the menu other than pizza and complained about it. Our trip was not successful and embarrassing, but I will be back here one day when I have a bit more money to spend. I look forward to it.

First time here, very impressed. This local spot gets very, very busy - and the service is outstanding - help comes from all the staff. The prices are a tad bit high. Recommended is the delicious Chicken Marsala & any of their desserts which are large enough to actually compliment the meal. The only minor suggestion is to warm the interior decor up a bit, lessening the generic bar look. Still, a really wonderful discovery nestled in the Damonte Ranch area of South Reno.

The service was poor....I ordered a glass of wine before we even ordered our food, asked twice about it and finally got it when we were almost done. They did comp the wine, but still.....Also we felt rushed, they tried to keep taking our tapas plates when we still had food. Atmosphere is a little, sterile and can hear lots of conversations going on between staff and other diners.

Many days, I find myself dreaming of Twisted Fork's truffle Mac n cheese. It's perfectly creamy and cheesy and bursting with flavor. The wait staff is very attentive and they do well with large groups. My work group of about 12 had a very successful lunch here at peak lunch hours. I ordered the root vegetable salad and truffle Mac n cheese. The veggies were cooked perfectly. I don't think I've ever had a beet slice as good as that in my life.

My fiance and I decided to celebrate our anniversary here while our daughter was at school. All of the food was amazing! Nice fusion of flavors in each dish and our server was awesome. We tried out the mushroom ravioli, apple and pear salad, Cajun corn chowder, bucatini, and a guava margarita.

Come for the food, leave for the staff. Our server was so bad, we had to ask for a different one. When i asked him what he recommended, he was rude and said, "I'm not a mind reader." Once our server was swapped, our experience was exactly what we've come to expect...amazing!

Lots of really great food options here. Have dined at this establishment many times and have rarely been disappointed. This place has a wide variety of delicious appetizers that are only $6 each during their weekday happy hour and more. This food is so good that everything is worth trying. I'm a big fan of the truffle and mushroom Mac n cheese and the pork tacos.

My only constructive feedback would be that bussers should clear empty plates rather than ask if I'm done with it. If it's empty, it's pretty apparent that there is nothing left to eat off it... And it would be nice if the servers would tell the guests the price of the specials since they tend to be significantly more than anything else on the menu.

I did my first time visit and was quite simply "very impressed". My wife & I just needed a snack at the bar but we stayed for dinner it was so good. The twisted fork moniker comes from a great blend of international flavors, a little Mexican here, a touch of Italian there and so on. We will definitely go back. Our bartender / server, Mike, was very knowledgeable and on point with service, a real pro.
Do yourself a favor and visit The Twisted Fork !

I've been here for lunch and dinner and thoroughly enjoyed both. Once with my Mom and Aunt and the other time with my husband. Definitely a very nice meal with some unique twists. I enjoy going here without the kids (although I'm sure they would've been welcome), it just has a wonderful, adult ambiance.

Delicious food, great, inventive drinks, and fun atmosphere. Patio has fantastic views for outdoor dining. We had a large group and everyone raved about their food, from the steaks to the salads to the ravioli. The lamb meatball appetizer was a particular hit.

Been here twice first time was okay, and this weekend was absolutely horrible! Sat in the bar area and ordered drinks and appetizers with friends (wings and fondue) the bread with the fondue had mold on it, we asked to speak to the manager her response was "we cut the bread in the morning and the humidity from the kitchen makes it mold." Will definitely not be back.
