cool and weird and good food and the best cupcakes please stop here if you are traveling you will never have cupcakes like them and the food is pretty good but you can just get cupcakes if that is what your heart desires
I had lunch here on Monday afternoon and I would absolutely not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food was VERY mediocre. I ordered a sandwich with their herbed potatoes, the sandwich was not special at all, the bread they supposedly make there was soggy and tasted like it came out of the freezer. The potatoes were just disgusting, no other way to describe them. And this is the best part, I paid 2.50 on a strawberry frosted cupcake that tasted like it came out of a pilsbury cupcake box hmm definitely definitely not worth 2.50. Even the frosting wasn t anything to be excited about. The coffe was also mediocre. I would recommend Zion Blues Cafe over this place ANY DAY.
They literally forgot my order. We waited for 45 minutes and then I went back to the counter and they were like, ohh ooops... went to the back and brought out my sandwich and were like, it s right here. They we re all sitting at a booth talking... too bad the service was so bad because the sandwich was quite good, I imagine it would ve been even better fresh. Won t be going back because of the service.
I ordered a chicken Cesar salad and I was highly impressed. The chicken was shredded instead of cubed/sliced which is different from what I'm used to. The dressing is very creamy and there was a perfect amount on my salad. Also, there were thick slices of tomato sprinkled with shredded parmesan cheese. It came with a slice of bread as well. This was a fantastic salad and I would order it again. We got here just before the lunch rush, which I suggest you do, too. The lunch line went out the door.
The food was great. I had breackfast. The coffee was also good so double bonus. The coffee cups were specific to the place, well made and felt confortable holding.
It's just okay..... the food was good enough, but what pissed me off was I basically had to self serve myself. Self service is alright, but I don't want to pay restaurant prices if I have to do everything myself..... except cook the food!
Cute, and fun cafe. Their cupcakes are great. The food I got wasn t my favorite, but I think it was just what I got and my taste bud. Everyone else said they loved their food.
Reviewing this as a coffee shop, though it's really more of a restaurant that happens to have a counter where you can order coffee and tea. Feels like a chain rather than a quirky local place. Blown up old timey images on the wall. Tons of booths and tables. Lots of power outlets. Soft rock on the radio, a bit loud. Very brightly lit. Free wifi with password you ask for. Large menu of pasta, pizza, salads, sandwiches. Moderate selection of what should be decent quality bagged teas, though the white tea I got was very bitter. Only desert is mediocre cupcakes. I'm feeling like this oughta be a 3 star just for workability, at least away from meal time, but I'm somehow just not liking the place.
This is one of my favorite St George restaurants. They have salads, sandwiches, paninis, pizza and amazing cupcakes. It's smaller, trendy and right in the middle of town. My favorite go to order is their strawberry spinach salad with chicken and a chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting. They do have gluten free options and healthy meal options. LOVE their cupcakes, they are $1 after 7 & if they last until the next day (often they sell out) then they are discounted to a dollar. They do have highchair seats and kids meals as well.
Cute casual place, handy for a solo traveler with counter ordering & self-seating. Alas, service to me was very slow. It was only a salad that needed to be assembled (no cooking!) and people after me had already been served and left while I waited. That said, my salad was good, fresh & generous with toppings.
The food is great, the location is central and near lots of places, great coffee, and it has free wifi. This is a great spot to work on paperwork, or homework, or meet up with a friend.
First time visit for my wife and I for dinner tonight. The food was delicious, the vibe was very welcoming and the cupcakes were to die for. It was a diverse crowd where everyone felt comfortable. Service was pleasant and efficient without being overbearing. Thanks so much for such an enjoyable evening!!
No surprise during Covid, but they are quite understaffed right now so service is slow. The food was really good though and it's got a good atmosphere. I would definitely go back if we're in St. George again.
I had the opportunity to create a virtual tour with our business AbleSource & See Inside Virtual Tours. Super friendly staff, very organized, and overall a great experience. I wish I would have stayed longer to enjoy the food and coffee :) There is always next time. I highly recommend this place :)
I went solely for the cupcakes. They're small for the price. A bit more on the cakey side. Best, in my opinion, was the chocolate. Chocolate vanilla was bottom on my list.
Love love love this place. I have Celiacs Disease. Every time I come here they take good care of my food. And today they had tons of gluten free cupcakes. You cannot find these cupcakes anywhere else in town. They are the best!
My wife and I ate here last night and were pleased with our meal. The food was decent bit expensive considering both the quality and quantity.
The atmosphere is nice! The misters outside are quite nice in the heat. The decor inside is pretty hipster and modern. It feels like a young hip coffee shop.
Considering the prime location, I understand the pricing of the food on the menu, but I expected a little juicier chicken and Salmon.
One of our favorite st george dines! Great food, reasonable prices, fun atmosphere, kid options, and THE BEST CUPCAKES! We always come here when we're in town.
I walked in for my first time and simply ordered bacon and eggs (the easiest thing to make on the menu) and I was waiting for almost a half hour for my food and no one seemed to care. Not to mention a baby was crying literally the entire time right in my ear and no one came over to say my food was almost ready or anything. No sense of urgency, no willingness to see if I needed anything. The workers seemed to be just going about their day with no interest in the customers whatsoever. This is disappointing because the location is great and there s a nice atmosphere throughout the cafe overall. I wouldn t recommend going here. Just an overall bad experience for a few strips of bacon and eggs that I could have made myself.
Nice spot for coffee and some breakfast. Right down the street from our hotel. Sat outside, happy to support local! Nice assortment of cupcakes too (gluten free option too).
We love 25 Main! Delicious entrees, but obviously the show-stopping menu item is the cupcakes. We especially love to go after 7 PM and get them for $1. That being said, I'd still pay full price for them. Highly recommend!
Best food IN THE CITY. A total must if visiting or new to the area. I recomend the Pizza and Chi tea. I get it every time they also have killer Alfredo~
I'm reviewing Twentyfive Main Cafe because I don't want any other St. George visitors/residents to waste their money on the breakfast. I hate to be so negative but my family was utterly disappointed. The so called "Irish oats" were the WORST I've ever had! They were not properly prepared and stale. The pancakes were mediocre yet overpriced. This Cafe does not deserve the it's current 4 star rating. Go somewhere else.
The best thing about 25 and Main is the location. The food is bland, the drinks are not worth what they charge. The hot chocolate is probably the only thing good thing here although that is overpriced as well.
It's good but not great. The cupcakes are delicious I recommend the coconut the frosting I could eat plain with a spoon. The entrees on the other hand are just okay. The salads a lot of the times have bad lettuce and browning avocados on them and the sandwiches are good but nothing to go crazy about. I would recommend coming here after dinner and just getting a cupcake and some coffee or hot chocolate (which both are very good).
Great place to eat and chill in this quaint restaurant. Excellent food! Everything is freshly made and seasoned very well. Great and fast service. I highly recommend it. My wife got the strawberry poppy salad and loved it. I've had the pasta premavera and the Cubano panini with roasted seasoned potatoes. All were excellent. Give it a try!! I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. I know I was. I'll be coming back for sure!
Been coming here for years, and have never had a bad experience, meal or, most importantly, cupcake. I recommend this place to anyone who comes to town.
WORST EXPERIENCE! Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning - 1st sign of trouble was they were out of breakfast potatoes, green salad was suggested as a substitute - for breakfast - I suggested fruit, they said extra $5.99 for the fruit. There were two couples/tickets at our table. Couple #1 is served - luckily we didn't want them to wait for our meals to arrive (nothing worse than cold eggs). Our meals never arrived - never. After 20-30 minutes when we inquired, the staff (all seemed under 20) couldn't find our ticket, our meals, no sign of what we paid for. Oh - I didn't mention that you paid upon ordering at the counter. Probably the worst part of the experience was the staff's complete inability to 'make it right'. The only offer was for a coupon for these 'out of towners' to come back for a cupcake. No thank you. The Twisted Noodle across the street gave us great food and wonderful service. Don't waste your time at Twentyfive Main Cafe and Cake.
I was a little skeptical about this place when it was recommended to me. I'm not a huge sandwich or panini fan. I was pleasantly surprised to see pizza on the list. Better yet, after I ordered it, it came out ready to eat within just a few minutes. I got the pepperoni pizza and it was great. Super good food. Give it a shot.
