It took over an hour to get our food and my wife and I both did not receive one of our sides. The waitress was very nice and immediately brought out the missing food. The food did taste good.

Pretty good. My filet was cooked to perfection but it needed som flavor. The bacon butter looks neat but doesnt add anything to the party. If I ate the steak with the mushrooms it was really good. Fried corn was fun.

Prices are way to high. Food was decent but the meat was dry.

We had the best service ever here in Zanesville! Our waitress was very attentive and we never had to ask for anything. She was on top of refills and everything!!

Service was horrible manager was very unprofessional food came out wrong twice after we explained what was wrong the first time came back out the exact same way didn't offer discount on the bill very rude cook the meal from my girlfriend because we told them the steak was overcooked when she was going to continue to eat her chicken fajitas and just have them bring a new piece of steak but they just yank it out from under her while she was eating the food so she said she had to sit there with no food for 20 minutes. Her mother and I let her eat off our plates by the time we were finished my girlfriend's food finally came out and we told him to put it in a to-go box and they coped a huge attitude. I would never recommend for anybody to have to go through the experience that I just went through Tumbleweed has always been good to me but not the Zanesville location and to top it all off this was my girlfriend's birthday dinner

Bad slow service on a week day night. Small portions for large price. Would not recommend.

The food was amazing, our server was really nice. It was a little confusing whether they were open for inside eating because of the big sign on the side of the building said outside seating is available. They are open for inside eating.

Go Somewhere else. Staff sucked. Food sucked. Bar sucks.

I have been warned about this place since I was a child, but I was given $50 gift card to this place for coaching. Waitress was fine. Service was fine. Food came out pretty quick. I was pretty set on the tableside guacamole appetizer, but asked for a recommendation and was told about the pulled pork nachos. I said that would be fine, they brought out both. Guac wasn't too bad, but the chips seemed stale or old. The other nachos were obviously made from the same chips, they had pulled pork on them which was very subpar. My little cousins even thought the cheese they used was the canned cheese whiz, not sure if it was or not.

Main course, the waitress suggested the porterhouse steak. I got it, some steamed vegetables and a baked sweet potato. The steak was absolutely unseasoned and tough even though it was cooked exactly as I asked (medium rare).

The sweet potato was fantastic and the broccoli was decent.

All in all I wasn't going to make a big stink about being brought and charged to appetizers since it was a gift card and I didn't plan on returning again. I wouldn't consider returning again, way easier just to get real Mexican from other local places, or a real steak from other local places.

Great meal tonight..service was great too ..but it was alittle cold in the store..

Was just ok for a beer and food at the bar, server was nice, dont recomend the queso dip, their grilled wings were pretty good.

I enjoy their food and they have really good waitresses I was there Monday evening with friend's from school and I'm going to be there Friday with a friend for her birthday along with other friend's ......

Good food, great tea and a nice mostly quiet place to have a meal. Big booths for sharing and the decor is really well done as well

Will recommend anything but the chicken this time there made my day!! Service was perfect! Clean environment tables spaced for social distancing. Was a good dinner

Our food came out before our appetizer and then we had to tell them we hadn't received it. No refill were given or offered.

Neither I nor my father was from the Zanesville area. We were given this restaurant as a recommendation from a friend. The atmosphere was tremendous and our server didn't outstanding job of recognizing our needs giving us time when we wanted not rushing us in any manner. The food was fantastic and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone either passing through the area or a resident.

Very good food. Not impressed with the salsa as it looks like many of the others are not but my meal was good. They get you with a 2.70 charge for drinks which seems quite high. But the wait staff was excellent.

Great Mexican food, tasty sweet tea, and good chops and salsa. Would definitely recommend. Price was right too!

Service was excellent. (Thanks Storm). My chicken was prepared excellently but the chicken itself was tough and stringy (as rick said "that chicken might have been old enough to get social security"). My wife and girls ordered steak, 1 medium well 2 medium rare, i didn't hear any complaints from the girls but my wife did say applebees steak was better (i had to disagree because I zanesville applebees). All in all a pretty good dining experience

Piss poor, no draft beer... Got a mixed drink tasted like crap, didn't drink it and still got charged for it... Instead Got a bottle of beer and it Was warm... Food however was amazing.

Service was ok, food was bland and the bathrooms were filthy.

In the past always pretty good. The staff tries but you can tell management no longer cares. Longer and longer waits because the kitchen is often backed up. They dont have more patrons so its quite obviously poor management. Texas roadhouse will open soon and then sadly another empty building.

Over priced and food seems like it was frozen and just heated up. If you want food like Tumbleweed might serve try taco Bell or McDonald's.

It was Sunday April 24,2016 I had family from out of state and had my dad and mother at tumbleweeds for my birthday dinner, they sat us quickly as there wasn't alot of people in the restaurant, the waitress came over and took our drink orders and we asked for apricot salsa as well as mild salsa,the waitress brought our drinks and regular salsa I asked the waitress for the apricot salsa she said I will bring it,it never came then the waitress asked for our dinner requests we gave our order and I asked to add a salad she stated it will be two dollars extra,my dad said that's fine we all want salad,the waitress restated it will be two dollars extra my dad said that's fine,the waitress stated well I don't want you to yell at me when I bring you your bill,my dad said no worries, she finished taking our orders we ordered ribs and we all asked for the mild sauce,the waitress said it is mild unless you ask for hot ribs,we,got our dinner the ribs weren't done,they were hot not mild and my mom and,sister n law couldn't eat them,we asked the waitress she said they are mild,they didn't taste mild,we asked for drink refills didn't get them,it was horrible food and service, then a baseball team came in and we're very loud,and the waitress bent over backwards for them,we didn't leave a tip due to the waitress rude behavior, as we were going out the blond hair manager whispered to us have a good night, like we were the loud ones,we weren't! That was so rude of a manager to behave that way she wasn't professional at all,I was so embraassed to have my family from out of state to have their dinner ruined, as well as my birthday dinner was ruined by their rude behavior my mom and dad felt so bad because they reommended tumbleweeds, I will never ever go back the food wasn't done the service and manager was very Rude! Every time we went there we always have an issue, Stay Away from Tumbleweeds in Zanesville ohio, it is dirty,staff and management Rude save your money, go to Texas roadhouse much better food and prices,I even called their corporate they are yet to contact me about this issue! Its been over two weeks since I left my name and number, still waiting! Don't go save your money and frustration!!

Hands down the worst restaurant I've ever been to. Dirty, overpriced, and undercooked.

The table was dirty when we got seated, so the hostess said she'd clean it off. She cleaned almost half of it off and then walked away. The menus were so dirty, I didn't even want to touch them. I didn't even attempt to use the restroom because I knew it would be just as disgusting as the rest of the place.

Not only was the place dirty, but it was incredibly loud and the lighting was migraine-inducing. Just all around a terrible atmosphere. I didn't even get a drink because I wanted out of there so badly.

The complimentary chips weren't cooked all the way, and neither were the replacements we got when we brought it to the waitress' attention. The bacon bits on the salad weren't cooked at all. I was actually *afraid* to eat my meal after I saw all the undercooked stuff they already tried to serve to us. I wish I hadn't eaten my meal, because I've been running to the bathroom for the 2 days since our visit.

Outback Steakhouse prices for McDonald's quality garbage. They charged us $2 per side of INSTANT mashed potatoes that were so gritty, I couldn't even eat them. We dropped $50 on meals that shouldn't even have cost $20.

Overpriced and undercooked. I wish someone had warned us. I'm giving one star because I'm forced to. I'd prefer to give this place negative 5 stars.

Love their chicken & steak dinner. They have the best cornbread crouton's around.

Well u sent me a 15.00 gift card because of bad things that happen the last time I was there so me n my friend went tonight her steak was way over cooked for med rare n mind was well but both were brunt on the outside her loaded potato was way to done n my mac n cheese was dry as hell from sitting under the heat light to long took 40 mins to get our meals people came in after us order n got there food way before us so just wanted to let u know me n my friend will never ever go back to your tumbleweed it's a shame to pay that much money for food u can't eat if there was a place for pictures so good bye I guess you won't get back to me either

I don t usually leave reviews but hopefully I can save someone else the disappoint. I ordered a 20oz porterhouse med-rare. It came out rare borderline raw. I will usually stuff down any steak but it was truly rare/raw. Asked politely if it could be brought up to med-rare. Btw staff was very polite and attentive. My waitress was very good.... anyway it came back out med/med-well. That med-rare can be hard to get for an inexperienced cook but it s their porterhouse steak. In a steak house. They should have that mastered. Anyway just go across the street to red lobster. I think it ll be a better experience.

Ps I feel I should edit this. As I was writing the original review I had been waiting to check out. Completely I waited approximately 15-20 for a one person check. I m not quite sure what happened but my waitress never returned... another waitress saw my frustration and kindly checked me out. Other than her kind actions it was a really bad day experience.
