Tron panto time.

Tron panto time.
Took the brat pack once again to this years tron offering.
As usual theres a different slant, this years all female cast giving a different view of the Cinderella story.
The kids all said they enjoyed it but they could have just been being polite which isn't like them as some parts went over their heads.
Decent singers with some groan jokes but still worth a visit if you haven't got panto tickets.

Amazing performances at the Tron tonight 'Scotties' is a tale that needs to be told-and what a creative way to share it! The actors were fantastic and their performances so moving. Congratulations to all the cast and crew

We always go and see the pantomime here each year and it's a scream. Well worth going here instead of the larger traditional Glasgow establishments for a more personal experience but still extremely professional and well done.

Tiny tails adventure is brilliant for children's creative play! The kids all have fun and each week is a new story/adventure with sensory play to bring the story to life! Great value for money! Suitable for various age groups and parents have fun too!

Nice building well refurbished, good food nicely cooked . The seats however are impossible to seat on particularly on row 'J'. At the time of purchase there is no notification that thus particular row has no leg room. Therefore I did not enjoy the play and subject matter and left with sore back and neck.

The Tron is a superb smallish theatre space, created out of an historic old town Glasgow church. The seating is such that good views are more or less guaranteed. There are a bar and restaurant that are very popular, and deservedly so, in their own right. The quality of the plays is consistently high, though of course, personal taste comes into that. I have just seen Pride and Prejudice (sort of) and that gets 5 stars from me too. The Tron's conversion to the Pantosphere each Christmas is the stuff of legend!

Great little theatre , always go here for the pantomime every year , seating has good leg room, has a bar and cafe selling good range of hot and cold eats, it's also handy for buses going east and west, and central station is not that far away.

This review pertains to the Saturday morning kids ...

This review pertains to the Saturday morning kids activities which the Tron hosts: Tiny Tales (0-2 yrs ) and Tall Tales (2-4 yrs). I have been to both, having a ~1 yr old and a ~3 yr old.

These sessions are interactive story sessions, which aim to stimulate kids' imagination with stories, singing and use of various props to bring the story to life. My children love the sessions and we always have great fun. The cost per session is great value (you buy a ticket for the child, and then up to 2 adults can accompany them).

The staff who run the sessions are wonderful and are very good with the children (I wish I had their patience). My older daughter can be quite shy, but they always make time for her and coax her to participate. In a group of children, there will always be a range of personalities and abilities, but the staff make sure everyone is included and that everyone "gets a shot" of whatever activities are on the go. The size of the group can vary from small to large, but the staff always put the same great effort in, which is appreciated.

I work full time Mon-Fri and so I am grateful for the opportunity to take my kids to a Saturday morning activity like this, where we can have fun and spend some time together. I find most parent-child activity sessions in society are weekday events and so some parents (especially fathers) can miss out. So, well done to the Tron for having such great weekend activities which are accessible to all parents.
