TR Fire Grill Review

Super tasty. Kind of pricey. Definitely lives up to the price though. My wife and I went for a nice night out and it was fantastic. I has the pork tenderloin and it was delicious. Staff treats the customers like it's their own business. Can't recommend it enough, but I won't lie about the price ;-)

The fact that the restaurant's manager has reached out to us after our unpleasant experience showed that they really care about their customers and I'm more than happy to give TR Fire Grill five stars.

Drove over from Melbourne to meet the family for Mother's Day and THOROUGHLY enjoyed this place. Kristen, our server, knew every single ingredient of every item on the menu. There were 6 of us and everybody's food was better than the next. The manager, Scott, came to our table immediately upon us being seated as he remembered my dad from a previous visit. If I lived in Winter Park, I would seriously eat there every day of the week. Check out the deserts. The BEST I have ever had. Kristen was simply delightful, thorough and very efficient. AND Scott makes the place. He was engaging, a great conversationalist and a real asset to TRFG. I'll gladly make the drive to meet some friends over there. (and I'll call ahead to be sure Kristen and Scott are working!)

Our waitress (Kel) was awesome and our food was incredible. The kitchen messed up our food so it took a lot longer than usual to come out but our waitress and the manager gave us some appetizers on the house. Only downside is that they are understaffed. Would definitely recommend

A Gem in Orlando:
I love this place. The setting and vibes in here is very relaxing and welcoming. The first and second times I have been here i experienced brunch and a midday lunch. Both experiences were great. The waitresses are very nice and helpful.

I heard about the live bands that use to play at night. That sounded so lit. However, TR no longer do the live bands. They should bring it back.

Best chicken and waffles I've ever had. Never had a bad meal or bad experience here.

They have changed Tony Romas for the worse. As other reviews have said bring back the old menu and old atmosphere. Adding live music did not make it any better. One good thing our server was great.

Hip and trendy brunch place with good mimosa rates. Food was just great specially the chicken and waffles. Can t go any Better s for as brunch goes.

It was good just wish that it offered more meat-less options.

Burger was out of this world. The fries were cooked to perfection. We arrived for happy hour but didn't even get happy hour menus. Thank you google for displaying it on our phones. Food was quick. Our waiter was excellent but it seemed the initial service was slow. My wife literally waved a server down. 5 stars for food and 2 stars for initial service.

I would never go to tony roma's buy orlando airport ever again. I really didn't like what was on the menu so I aasked the server if I can have a 6 ounce steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli. she told me we don't serve broccoli, so I was like okay just let me have the mash and a 6 ounce steak. when she comes back with my plate I was in shock to see the size of my steak it was a so tiny I thought it was a joke but it wasn't. Smh!! I told her I'm sorry but this is not a 6 ounce steak and she (replied) hold on I'll be right back. she comes back and tells me I am so sorry the cook just told me that the other 3 ounces is still cooking. LMFAO.... as a server should've known that was in a 6 ounce steak but I don't put the blame on her the blame it on the coke and a manager.

We had a great time! The food was excellent, the service very good, the Managers was very personable and friendly,the atmosphere was wonderful . I suggest arriving early if you plan on going on a Friday night, because the placed was packed by 7:30-8:00. I will definitely go back! Love it!

We ate there for the first time the other night. The food was very good except the burger was probably the worst I have ever had. The bun was hard as a rock! The service was good but the kitchen didn't put some of the meal on the plates...Fire and Grill really needs to work on their execution and preparation. A little bit pricey....

Parking is easy. No happy hr. on Sun. :( We liked the ambiance and the vibe inside. The live entertainment changes nightly. Entertainment monotonous on this evening. My husband's Ghostly Old Fashion Cocktail was not fit to drink which he was not charged. The Wood Aged Margarita was acceptable. The Farmhouse Flatbread was was tasty, but the large cracker bottom was unimpressive. Our entrees, Salmon and Zoodles, was well cooked and tasty. I would order the dish again. A nice grilled lemon was served on the side but was refrigeration cold - ugh! We also tried the Bacon wrapped smoked Meatloaf. Pretty good. They ended up running out of the meatloaf before nights end. We ordered the Buttery Seared lemon pound cake but were too late - informed there was no more only after our server recommended. A supervisor was making table rounds and he was convenient to ask to replace my lukewarm decaf. coffee I was served as he neared our table. Our server promptly returned with a very nice hot cup, but the supervisor did not bother to return. Will possibly try again, or not.

My family and I made reservations here for Thanksgiving dinner. To our dismay, the had ran out of turkey at around 5pm. They should have at least called me or email me to let me know. NEVER AGAIN!

Tacos are awesome. Short rib tacos are generous. Shrimp tacos are tasty. Chicken and waffles is very good, but they serve it with Agave It would be great if they served it with real Maple syrup.

The staff are ridiculously friendly and helpful.

I went here last night for a family dinner. The food was awesome. Everyone got something different and we were all sharing with each other lol it was great. The live music was good too. Our server was kind to us and I love the look of this place. We will definitely be coming back. :)

One of the best restaurants I've been to in a while. Always fast respectful services with delicious food. Ive been during brunch, lunch, dinner, and happy hour and the never slack. Not to mention the price is very reasonable for the amount of food you get. 5 star on my list and I'm actually debating which day this week i want to stop in.

Went in for the Oven Baked Pizza Dip. Such an awesome dish for a few bites. I had a great experience, service was excellent.

I have been to this restaurants a few years back when it was the original Tony Romas and had a miserable experience, customer service was atrocious and the food was no where near tony romas was 20 years ago. I decided to give it one more chance and see what the new version was all about. I was pleasantly surprised with the new changes. The staff was excellent, the ambiance was upscale and trendy. The food was very tasty and had a nice variety. The ribs are very good, but not quite like the babyback ribs I had 20 years ago but that could be just me getting older. Lol

This last visit I think the pizza dip was old at lunch, usually it's been great in the past. I guess before you order it you should ask how long it's been sitting out. If it's fresh, def order it!

Nice atmosphere. Our server was super attentive. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is a few people at our table were disappointed with their meals. For me, I had a great experience. Wonuts were fresh and hot. Very tasty. We were there for brunch. The morning meatloaf was outstanding. We were celebrating my birthday and they offered a free dessert. I would come back for lunch or dinner. Recommended.

Oh my God! What a disaster! They changed their entire menu. Their food does not taste the same. I used to love their Baby Back Ribs. They changed their quality of the ribs and the taste. They are disgusting and overpriced!!!! Say Bye Bye to World Famous. They can definitely now win World Shittiest! I wouldn't recommend anyone eat here. There are plenty or other decent restaurants nearby. By the way, this place now closes at 9pm on Sundays. I guess they are doing so well they can close so early while competition stays open to 2am.. How sad.......

Terrible service at the bar area. What management doesn't realize is, with all the business travelers that come into town for a short visit, they will take the bad experience back home with them. They will never visit it another Tony Romas. Too many options in the area to worry about going back to this place. AVOID!!!

Worth it just for the amazing homemade ketchup. The food was excellent. And i love the clean modern vibe. The bar also kicks butt.

I have eaten at this location on 5 occasions. On each they have always gotten my order right, the food was delicious and the staff well trained and professional. Today I enjoyed Emily as our server. She greeted us warmly, made some menu suggestions and took care of us throughout our meal. I enjoy it when a server stands out so much because of how great they were rather than how lacking they were. Thank you, Emily, and the TR Fire Grill for another great experience.

This sat was our first time at fire grill, beautiful place, food and drinks were good. Kinda upset that we spent over $100 there and our pizza appetizer was burned the first one so the chef didn't even send out first one. Which was very much appreciated but then I had ordered the filet mignon med-rare $30 plate and it came out blue very under cooked. Believe they could have compensated in one way or another. Completely understand mistakes happen but for two to happen in the same dinner and leaving me to not be able to enjoy eating TOGETHER with my husband Leaves 's bad taste in my mouth spending that much and it being the first time.

Expensive for what it is. I got a burger, duh. It was an okay burger, pretty weak had to put ketchup on it. Meat tasted great and the bun was toasted, size wasn't too small but not too big. Overall for the price, size and taste it's a 3

Stellar service; exquisite food. I don t write reviews often, but I couldn t let my amazing culinary experience go unnoticed.

From the moment we walked in, the staff was courteous and knowledgeable. It was a slow night, and the atmosphere was chill and relaxed, but the entire service team was on point. We were immediately greeted by a friendly hostess that brought us to a corner table.



We end up getting the strip and the American burger. Both were cooked perfectly medium rare and accompanied by flavorful (but not buttery) seasoned sides of fries and fingerling potatoes.

Honestly, the service is what put the dining experience over the top. In a town where it can be hit or miss, especially after a new opening, everyone was friendly and we could tell, genuinely happy to be there with us.

Kelsey, the pastry chef came by and talked us in to the house made, seasonal pumpkin cheesecake with bourbon caramel sauce. And it was good thing he did, because it was not too sweet, and had a freshness that only comes from using quality ingredients. We savored every bite and them came home and ate the leftovers before bed - yeah, it was that good. The bartender even came by to suggest a beer pairing for the dessert that made the entire meal one of the best I ve ever had.

If you are looking for a menu that is comfort food with a fresh twist and thoughtful service, Fire Grill at the corner of Lee Road and 17-92 is the place. Who know that Tony Romano s had it in them? I can t wait to go back and bring all my friends there.

Had a great meal outside, With a fountain view. Killer stout and many taps. Shrimp appetizer was awesome and had plenty. Chicken and waffles next time for sure.

Me and boyfriend wanted to try a new restaurant besides our regular go to places and I am glad we did. I am extremely picky and hate trying new places but the food,service and atmosphere was better than I expected.

This place is amazing. The staff the manager are so pleasant. It was a fun atmosphere to relax and have a few drinks with my girls. If you are looking for a really good drink try the doctors note. AMAZING

My wife ordered the scallops and they weren t cleaned properly so there was still sand in them. My flatbread was still doughy and the servers idea of getting us more water was refilling my cup with old water from our friends at the next table and getting them a fresh carafe. The first question once food was tasted was where is the salt / pepper / ketchup.

We hadn't made new years eve plans and the day of just stumbled upon an awesome three course meal special they were doing and went. The young woman who took our last minute reservation was so helpful, the host and hostest who greeted us were so nice, our server was amazing and knew her stuff when recommending and every dish we had was wonderful. Maybe a bit salty on one dish, but the scallops and steak were perfectly cooked and the dessert was to die for.

Service was awful... the old Tony Romas was ten times better.. the menu sucks .. simply don't bring your family here. Can't wait to leave.

The food is delicious! The contemporary atmosphere makes this a hip little place to be. Sunday brunch is perfect complete with unlimited mimosas which Gil, our waiter was on top of the whole time. He never let our glasses get empty! Thanks for such a great experience.

Arrive for brunch on Saturday. I had the breakfast meatloaf, and my wife has the salmon and zucchini pasta dish. Both were excellent. We will definitely be back (and with our dog)!

Bring back the old Tony Roma i used to enjoy so much. Take my family there on special occasions only. Considered to be a classy place to eat. On my recent and last trip to Tony Roma. Everything that i enjoyed changed. Menu, menu items, atmosphere, drinks... What made Tony Roma special to me is gone. I am for improvements, but there seem to had little planning other than major changes. Servers where fantastic and attentive. Just the entire cozy atmosphere changed and menu\food inferior than the old Tony Roma. I will not be coming back!

Went for Sunday brunch $5 mimosas or I think you can get a flight for $15. Get to wonuts! Got egg breakfast plate best cheese eggs only complaint there was only on piece of bacon. Bf got chicken and waffles loved them but there is no honey mustard in house. Service was amazing. Manger came and table touched was a bit awkward. Very low key atmosphere. Will go back

Service was great. Bacon and eggs appetizer was delicious however only comes with 3 leaving you wanting one more. The chicken & avocado flat bread was okay, could of been a little crispier on the bottom. The chicken and waffles was great, chicken was moist and flavorful with hints of sage and the waffles we're fluffy. A little more syrup was wanted but overall dinner was an A-. I will come again and try something new.

Terrible. I liked the old Tony Romas. The food was terrible and over priced. They are trying to attract younger clientele but they whiffed big time. Close the doors this place sucks. Just so I can end this on a positive note, I did like that they left a carafe of water on your table.

Not understanding how this place got such good reviews. My party of 5 came to celebrate my birthday on a Thursday night. Service was friendly but extremely slow. Took about an hour to get our entree. The only thing we enjoyed was the pizza dip. The entrees weren't hot or tasty. Shrimp po boy, pork loin, chicken flatbread, chicken and waffles and burger were all lackluster. Only 3 people in the kitchen area for a packed restaraunt. To add insult to injury, we noticed a flying roach on the wall as were paying our t bills. Would not ever come back or recommend.

One of my favorite go to places for dinner. Everything I've had I loved. Their burger is one of my favorite in town. I love the atmosphere in the restaurant. It's great for a date night, meet up, or even a business dinner.
