Little knowledge of catering among the staff, food was okay don't go back anytime soon

Good Mexican cuisine, friendly service and a nice atmosphere. In the rush hour longer waiting time

We had to wait very long for our food (tapas menu), the price of which is very high for what you get. Spare ribs were cold. They bothered about a jug of water with the sangria. A nice decorated restaurant.

Tortillas is a Mexican restaurant. The layout is a bit messy but that should not spoil the fun. Arranged a 5-course meal via social deal. And it was delicious. We started with a corn soup, then a chorizo fondue followed by mojito ice cream with rum. Then a wrap with hot chicken to finish with coffee and sweets. Everything perfectly and well prepared. Very friendly staff.

Tasty and not too expensive Mexican located in the center of Breda. Some days very quiet so you are almost alone in the restaurant. On the other hand, very tasty eaten. Definitely come back here!

Great food friendly staff and nice surroundings (lovely seating area in the back garden) One minor comment is that we were left to wait for quite a while between courses.

Social deal 5 course menu was fine. Bit fat, but good value for money.

Every time I am only half an hour's drive from Breda around dinner time, I drive to tortillas. The portions are large, the price is right. And then the food is also delicious. Every time I have no idea what to choose. Because it's all so delicious. And the atmosphere and decor is very nicely done. The summer garden in particular is very cozy! Been yesterday and it was completely full, nevertheless the food was quick and the quality that I am used to. I hope to eat here very often!

Where will I start ... perhaps at the beginning ... We were kindly welcomed and could take a seat in the garden, where the table was briefly taken with a dishcloth that had already had its best time last year. And you clearly smoke that too.

The starter .... well ..... the chicken skewers were just as tasteless as they looked, but how exciting can you make a chicken skewers. And the meatballs in tomato sauce were just cold and .... then really fridge cold .... Only the sauce was warm .... These were sent back and were soon replaced by a warm one.

The main course ... a steak, fried in red .... That doesn't mean the outside is overcooked and the inside raw and cold. The other dish was a tortilla with spicy chicken .... The spiciness was hard to find ...

The taste had more than perished and therefore indicated that we wanted to pay for our drinks and to leave ... We also clearly indicated that we did not want the steak again. But the worst still came ..... the ozo friendly host (or it turned out to be the manager) who received us, started the discussion to make it clear that it was up to us. That this has not happened before in 11 years.

Serious??????? Coincidentally, there was a couple behind us at the table, who could still take the food from the previous guest off plates.

I have never written a review in my life, but now that we are back in the hotel and my friend has become so nauseous that he is only spitting that filthy gang, the size is full.

We finally paid for the drinks and starter (which I think is ridiculous) and left with an attempt to talk about guilt and food poisoning .... Never again so .... Too bad about our 10-year anniversary dinner which has fallen completely into the water in this way

Just ended up here looking for a nice restaurant in Breda, but in the end quite disappointed. On a Friday evening with great terrace weather we sat on an almost empty terrace, but it still took quite a long time before the first meal arrived. It might have been busy inside but I wonder how the kitchen should keep up when the terrace is also full. I had the 2 person tapas menu with a friend, and our third man ordered the steak. In the end the appetizer came. The (very cheap tasting) tortilla chips were just not burnt, the rest of the starter was fine except for an extremely small amount of spread on the bread. After a long wait, the first main course, the fish, arrived. In my view, this was the biggest disappointment. The squid rings were fine but quite greasy. In addition, there was an extremely weak excuse for a tuna wrap: small cheap-tasting tortillas with very weak tuna salad (just a little tastier than canned tuna with mayo) with iceberg lettuce. That's it. No extra vegetables, no cheese, nothing. Unfortunately. The meat dish was fortunately fine, and the steak was fine too, although with the steak (costing 18.95) they suddenly charge 75 cents per cup of sauce while this was included with the tapas. But for 22.50 per person I would strongly advise against the tapas menu. I do not know if the operation is normally faster, but I will not come back to experience it myself.

Gore dry tortillias where you can only taste cheap cheese! This restaurant is anything but mexican bah!

Nachos were disappointing. On top of a large cheese placard. Warm outside, cold inside.

I have little experience with Mexican food but this was a nice experience. The main course (flautas pollo) in particular was very tasty! I found the combination of tortilla stuffed with (super tender) chicken and with dishes such as rice, lettuce, guacamole and sour cream to be very good.
I liked the nachos that we had as an appetizer, but I would like the structure to be slightly different because the bottom layer tasted rather cold and almost wet (the cheese was put under the grill and well heated, but everything under the first layer was cold) . Anyway, that's a personal preference: there's nothing wrong with the fresh ingredients!

The staff was super sweet and quick with the service. The decor is playful, colorful and cozy. In combination with the central location really a must!

Delicious eaten in a nice atmospheric tent with a very cheerful, fun service. Good explanation of the dishes. Service spontaneously brought a second coffee liqueur when we jokingly said that those glasses were much smaller than at home. Were not on the bill. Definitely going back.

It took a long time before we got our food and drinks but it was super nice! Think of one of my favorite tents in Breda

Cosy place, good food and fair prices. Would recommend if youre into mexican food. The chicken burrito could have been a bit spicier, but then again you can always add some tabasco or chipotle :)

I was looking forward to an Authentic burrito, but unfortunately it wasn t. The tortilla was dry and tasted like a cracker, had no beans or lettuce or good tasting salsa inside. Served alone on a plate, no rice and beans with it. I also had the nachos- you need to get better tortilla chips. Also where is the ground beef? Where is the salsa?

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I order one dish, they bring another and when I tell them , they insisted the waiter took the right order but that it was my fault, making it diffucult to change my order. When I decide to leave the restaurant they waiter tells me I am acting defensive and unreasonable...

This afternoon at the Christmas market we sat down with the family to have a drink outside with a couple of trays of tortillas and sauce, to sit there it is perfect in view of the church and the market with the beautiful Christmas tree. When I wanted to checkout I had to go inside with the children who also wanted to see it inside. Says such a young waiter who helped us out and did not have such a good mood "you have to leave, we can not work" so I asked where we should stand to settle "not here you are in the way , we are here to work "the people who were eating there just had to laugh. That you have a bad mood but a little professionalism you can expect, especially with children in the neighborhood. That guest can do better if he can not handle crowds anyway. maybe I'll get cozy again without children ..

Just eaten at Tortillas Breda. Food okay, but felt pretty cheated when the bill arrived. We had ordered two 25 euro set menus, which were advertised on a plate outside as well as on the menu. When I went to checkout, the blonde lady who made up the bill came up with a confused story, the core of which was that we had to pay for the dishes according to the stated prices on the menu. So no choice menus! I did so in a somewhat bewildered way, which I regret now of course.
It may only be about 12 or 13 euros, but I still feel ripped off. So my advice is to everyone: STAY AWAY!

Very good food and a filling 3-course menu for only 25 euros, the atmosphere is completely in style. The food is a bit spicy, if you like this it is definitely recommended!

Worthless .... just went to eat here and had to wait an incredibly long time for our table to be emptied that was still full of people in front of us ... Then also a good half hour of waiting for our drink. After a number of times that it all took a long time, we were told that it had all gone wrong and we only received an "excuse." Finally received our food of which the fries were also a cold .. Furthermore, people came to sit next to us who also started talking about the fact that it was all a lot more expensive, we told them that we also had to be super long and that they had better could go somewhere else, whatever they did then. When I went to ask myself for an overload on the bill due to the worthless service and the long period of time, I was told that it was not possible and that I could pay the full amount ... Picked up spare ribs today. 1 piece was still red on the inside.Frite was 1 small bowl for 2 people (looked like for the kids menu) salad looked like a small bowl for toddlers and that for a price of 17.50pp. sorry but never again when the previous year was good

Only the soup was cold.
Whether it tastes is not asked, the pace was high.
Also, at the end of the main course, you are no longer asked whether everything is as you wish and whether something to drink is needed.

It was ok, the spareribs were very disappointing. The rest of my table companions had better quality food. The experienced service was super and helped their less experienced colleagues at the right time.
