Topgolf Overland Park Review

Incredible experience at Topgolf, exceeded my expectations by far. There was no wait for a bay, great food and an awesome wait staff. Cannot wait to visit the Overland Park location again soon.

This place was a BLAST! I heard Top Golf was expensive, but I didn't think it was too bad at all.

Social distancing stuff was really well done. Good food, better fun. We showed up about 5 mins before opening and easily got a bay but reservations recommended if you're gonna show up later in the day.

Just got off the phone with Dani, a manager. I was trying to set up a large party. She was rude, interrupted me, didn't let me finish, then later continued to talked over me while I was talking. Apparently she didn't have time for my question because she couldn't listen long enough to hear it. Plus she gave me different information than I had previously received. Very frustrating.

Golf is so much fun than I thought! It will be cheaper if you come in the morning.

This is so much fun!! Had to remember everything I learned from the Nick Faldo Golf Institute...and I did, almost!! The food is good, too; had the chicken & waffles.

Visited on my birthday always a fun place to gather with friends and family. Sometime the wants can be long but it's still worth the wait.

Event staff was very attentive and helpful. Actually the best time I've had at a top golf; well done!

Fabulous atmosphere, cool entertainment venue, classy cocktails and good times.

Lots of fun, servers are a little slow both times i have been there though. Appatizers are very good

Love this place, great for groups up to 6 per bay and you just split the bill per hour. Great food and drinks although they are a little more pricey. They have tables and indoor bar on the first floor. Outdoor bar, tables and some bar games on the top floor. Pool, Xbox kinects, shuffle board, Foosball and more tables downstairs. Service can be slow when they get really busy but always had a good time here.

Nice Sunday morning and didn't have to find any balls in the trees.

Fun place to go but wasn't impressed paying 8 bucks for Nachos that were only an 8 chip arrangement like places lay out Potato skins topped with cheese and such

I like the Topgolf it was fun but towards the end the service from the servers sucked, we was waiting so long for the server to grab our checks and the next group came up to play. All and all the place is a great place to play golf with friends, not to mention the food is really good.

Busy, fun, but the software in the bays isn't very intuitive.

Had fun with a new experience. Sorta pricey so be prepared to spend $40-$50 each person for food/drinks/golf.

Our first time here, and we had at GREAT time. spur of the moment idea running around for my wife's birthday, and we are already planning future visits with friends and family!

Went for father's day golfing and breakfast and had a very good time. The breakfast burritos were good but the French toast was tough and cold. Good bloody Mary 's though.

Kansas has declared a state of emergency and you the TopGolf has decided through corporate greed that making money is more important than the safety of their employees. I will not be visiting topgolf in the future.

Super fun no matter your skill level! It's pricey but worth it. Great atmosphere, service, and the food is amazing.

Very fun for a group or a couple. Don't need your own clubs,but can take your own. Its nice cause it electronically lets you know where your ball went.

Fun place to unwind with friends. Usually a long wait. Affordable with a bay full of friends to split it with. Drinks are very expensive.

Fun place to play, hangout, and Sam Coker is an outstanding individual.

Food was amazing, and the golf a fun challenge. Trying to hit specific targets for points is harder than I would have thought, we'll come back to try again!

Everything was great except the servers would let your cups go empty... Chips and salsa and queso were delicious!! My favorite part!

Could not golf because of long wait. Had some drinks and the staff could have better.

Nice place and staff but expensive driving range. $40 an hour during the week ?!?!?!

TopGolf is a ton of fun. Most of the people I've been with, don't normally play golf and we still have fun. Good food and a selection of drinks as well. The staff has always been super friendly. The only drawback is the wait. It can be hours. They have a texting system though so you can put in your name and leave and come back when you're sent a text that they're ready. You can also eat, drink, watch TV, or play some free games while you wait.

This place is great, if you have the time. The food took longer to come out than I expected. Its a fun place, lots of stuff to do besides hit golf balls. Even kid friendly to kids that are at least old enough to properly hit a golf ball.

Very fun to play. You don't have to be a pro to play I'm terrible at golf but I had the highest score out of 7 people, 4 of them have been multiple times before. Gluten free flatbread was very good. The heaters worked very well. Overall a very good experience.

Really fun place with groups of people. I just wish the night prices were cheaper.

A great place for a work event, even if not everyone is a golfer you will have a great time.

Fun place for a driving range and other games to play. Food is kinda pricey so I'd stick to just drinks but still overall a fun place to hangout

So much fun! It's like if a driving range had sex with a sports bar. I've never had a bad time!

Was told the wait was 20 minutes, ended up waiting for over an hour and a half. While we were waiting the hourly rate changed and we had to pay the higher rate. Once we complained the staff told us they would get us a bay in "a few minutes". 20 minutes later and we finally got on a bay. The staff added an extra 15 min to our time for our troubles.

In short: Slow and rude staff. Only care about getting you in and out as quickly as possible. Recommend eating somewhere else and then going there instead of ordering food there. Long Story: Went there last night (Thrusday) at 7pm with my girlfriend and sister as my sister is visiting from out of town. We were pretty hungry and wanted something to do while we ate. We were placed on a booth pretty quickly, and we started the game timer for 1 hour. We placed drink orders pretty quickly, but the drinks took about 10 minutes to come out. Then, we placed food orders while there was still about 45 minutes left on our booth. after about 25 minutes of waiting for food, we flagged down one of the staff member and asked where our food was because we had been waiting for a while, and we would expect at least our appetizer to be here by now. She leaves to check on it and comes back and says "your food is on its way out". 5 minutes later our food comes out. The only thing that is warm is our appetizer. We ordered 2 flatbread pizzas that were almost cold, and a turkey wrap with tater tots that were cold. So now we have about 10 minutes on our timer when our food is finally out. We stop playing to sit down to eat. At the 5 minutes left on our times mark (no more than 5 minutes after we received our food) the staff member comes out and says "your time is almost up, do you want to add more time" to which I replied "no". Then she says "when your time is up, you can move your food to the open sitting inside", and our response is "OK". We use the rest of our time to eat, not to play, but just eat. The very second that the timer hits zero she comes up to us and says "Do you want boxes for your food" to which we reply "no, we just got our food, we'll move inside". We felt rushed thru the entire time, and the staff knowing we received our food late still wanted to give us boxes and get us out of there.

Great place, great fun!

Food was nice but cocktails super diluted!
We order the topgoft tea which was described to us like Long Island Iced Tea, however it was just lime juice. It s the first time I could not feel the alcohol in LIIT! Also tried the Red Sangria same story!

Let me start by saying I was super excited to try Topgolf for the first time. I have heard plenty about it and always wanted to try. On June 5th around 7:30pm, myself and 3 others went and hit balls for an hour and a half. The topgolf experience was great, however the food service simply put, sucked. We arrived and had about a 30 minute wait(no big deal). First we had to chase down someone to get a simple glass of water. Nobody came up to us(despite 6-7 waiters standing around the bar). Once I got up and chased down a waiter, they finally came. We got a couple of beers and appetizer because they didn't know how long we would be waiting. We received the appetizer, no napkins. no forks or knives

Once we got into the bay, the same thing kept happening, we had to chase down a waiter(several walked down by us) to get service. I don't know what the deal was, the night was busy but you had plenty of people. Yet we were ignored several times. We were in bay 224 so right by the door, maybe you need to retrain waiters to pay attention to ALL bays.

The staff showed us how the games worked, and the server was constantly checking on us. The food and drinks are on the pricier side, but still not bad for the few hours you're going to be there. Buckets of beer are less than $20 and most other drinks will be less than $12. Food can range from $7 for appetizers to $15 for entrees. Good way to get outside when the weather is still cold. Heaters work great. Enjoy a great time at this place.

So much fun! Don't need to know how to golf. Lots to do here

This is the 4th Topgolf location I have visited, and the first one where the game equipment didn't function properly.

The back targets did not work at all. The front targets would miss direct hits 20% of the time. When I asked the bay host he said it was having problems that night. I went back the a second night and the problems where different but still just as plentiful. I love Top golf I am glad this wasn't my first exposure to it or I would probably never try it again.

Expensive, but it is fun to play with a group of friends

Lots of fun for golfers and non-golfers. Kind of like a Dave and Busters but golf themed.

This was lots of fun. We went in the early afternoon. Not a long wait at all. We had an appetizer, lunch for 4 (no alcoholic beverages were consumed) and a bay for 2 hours and by the time we paid for everything including gratuity, we spent $200.00. Experience was awesome, cost.....not so much.

Great vibe around more than just driving golf balls. Bring a group and challenge them to one of many games to choose from. Drink and food selection is also excellent!

Top Golf in Overland Park, KS is a fun and exciting place to go. We held a customer event for ~25 people that included:
-Use of a conference room
-Buffet Dinner
-Beer, Wine and Soft drinks
-2 hours of golf
The food was really high quality and better than other places I've been for corporate events. The staff was top notch; Very attentive and friendly. The price was pretty reasonable for the entire package.

My experiences have ALWAYS been amazing. Darcy in guest services is wonderful. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about her, fun, energetic, and very helpful. Ask to see her whenever you're going! TopGolf rocks!

Went here for a birthday party and brought my infant. It's a nice place, and they have a nursing mother's room!

We were assigned a bay that was already occupied. The screen that simulates the path of the golf ball did not work at the next bay and only showed 15 min. Of play after verifying for 2 hrs.Had to go inside to get our own silverware...no one inside would make eye contact so took some off an unoccupied table. We have been to this location numerous times and this is our first sub par experience.

Tried to have a fun night out for our daughter's birthday. Went online before we went to make a reservation, paid $55. Thinking we were paying in advance. We get there, play an hour and at the end they give us a bill for $45 plus tax. We told our waitress that we already paid when we reserved and she said oh they should have only charged you $5 to reserve and said let me get my manager. The manager came back and said that was thier reservation fee($55). And that doesn't go to game play. What ? That is crazy. They charge more for a reservation then to actually play. We will not be back. That is the greediest and sleaziest thing I've ever heard. What a waste of money. $105 for an hour of play. Shame on you Top Golf!

Love, love, love it! If you are looking for a great place to spend some time, this is the place. We went with our 3 daughters and it was a blast. Youngest is 4 and even she had a good time. I don't typically enjoy sport stuff but I had a wonderful time. The Asian wings are amazing by the way. Highly recommend.

Fun environment but service has been lacking a couple times I've been there. Also a bit on the expensive side to reserve the bays, but I guess that's to be expected when you're the only company doing what you're doing.

Really great place for people of any skill level. Great place to practice and get better or just spend some time with friends and have fun. Very advanced technology to show you all kinds of data and statistics. Wonderful food and drinks and a great staff.

If you are an avid golfer, this place is for you. Even if you don't golf, they have great bars and lots of TV's.

Great fun for all. Doesn't matter if you are a beginner or an expert golfer there are games for all. Food is very good, appetizers are group sized. They have a lot of entertainment to offer.

A great place to spend recreational time with Family, Friends or Co-Workers. Everyone rated their food as HIGH QUALITY, Good Servings, Timely Delivery, TASTY! A great bar with a huge selection of beers and hard liquor. The golf part makes it a GREAT PLACE to relax and have FUN!

Terrible slow service. Always out of stuff. Way overpriced. Never coming back

Service is nice but the games I feel are lacking, would really like a long drive style game like Flying Tee in Oklahoma.

Great experience, but they only have one size of club. For being so freaking expensive you would think they would have like clubs for tall people. Also, did I mention they are super freaking expensive?

Need to improve on service and cleanliness of the bay. Our bay had food on floor and on the furniture. Tabletop required multiple wiping to finally get it clean.

We held a corporate event here and had an amazing time. The staff was incredible.

We tried some pretzel bites and they were delicious. Our server, I think her name was Emily, was a sweetheart! Quality facility. We will be back!
