I love Tootsie's! The band there played real country music with a nice twang, and there also tremendous old-school artifacts on the wall (barrel, bison, Hank Jr.). The staff is great and the drink selection is too! A must see in Nashville. Great time.
Rudiest bartender ever ask for a dead orange said not sure what that is, so I told her what was in it then ask her if she had something like it she says I just told you I don't have it then she gets mad because she said I rolled my eyes at her so then told person I was with must not be from here because she is rude she says I am from here I said I was not talking to you and she would not give me her name so I took a picture of her and then security came over and a cop and told me I had to delete her picture and kept hounding me to delete picture so we left they would not give me her name. Never go there extremely rude and unprofessional. Read the other reviews they must have some issue with help not the place it use to be.
Good atmosphere and good food but I gave a $10 for the band and after 30 min they didnt play my song ????????
We had a lot of fun here and they had a really good band the night we were there.
Nice place to visit had a lot of country stars sing there
Was not happy with the rude bartender or waitress we had at 11:30 in the morning.
Nice bar, with a lot of stage, one on each floor, nice patio.
Love this place.. there use to be a hidden door to the grand ole opery..don't see it anymore
Always a great time! Talented musicians and the view is awesome!
My sherriff was there with his family, veteran, 30 years service in law, was asked to leave because the bartender accused him of taking $5 from top jar, when he was the one putting it in! Most decent man.... I'll never go
I planned a day just for me and my girlfriend. The last stop was Tooties. At the door security told us to keep it moving. We came back to see why, full capacity seemed to be out of the picture. Security finally told me and my girlfriend that I said a racial remark. Def not my style. We left due to the shallow nature at the door. Good luck with that angle.
Great live music on every level. Something for everyone.
Be careful about what you do with your eyes. You'll get escorted out if you have your eyes closed. I wish this was a joke but they're serious about keeping your eyes open.
Extremely overcrowded, dirty, takes 30 min to get a drink
Cool place with a lot of history, but I found it extremely busy and overwhelming (and we went during the week!). Servers were friendly but a bit pushy. Cool place to see but definitely didn't have a desire to go back.
Great music alley venue- Nashville music glam at its best.

3 stories - Honky Tonk bar with bands on each level. We stopped in on Saturday afternoon and listened to the band (from Buffalo, NY) playing any music you want.
Rooftop access - great view of Broadway St, but cannot hear the band on the top level.
Food - appetizer sampler - very good.
Stopped by one afternoon for some live music, which was pretty good. That's about it for positive things I can say, which is disappointing considering all the rave reviews I had previously read. I'm guessing the nighttime scene is better, but I won't go back. Drink prices were also high compared to some of the surrounding bars.
Great spot + one of the best, most efficient bar tenders I've ever seen in the night we were there.
This was one of my favorite places in nashville the entertainment was the best and the best party crowd
Great live music on every floor all day and night. It's three stars because it's packed. At times there's no room to move, and I was pressed between people on every side. Smoking is allowed on the patio. If not for the crowds, this honkey tonk would've received a much higher rating.
Food not that great. Staff is just okay. I do like that atmosphere
Lots of fun, three floors of bands and amazing fun!!
Miranda, Lauren and Kassidy were awesome!!! Loved the music and atmosphere. Very busy but what do you expect?!?!?
definitely a must go! terrific bands! you never who may stop in!
One of the worst tourist traps in Nashville. This place was probably cool in the 50s when country music icons used to play there but now its an overcrowded dump with outrageous prices. $5.25 for a 12 oz PBR. If this place was anywhere except the tourist district it would be out of business in a month.
I think it's the best bar on the strip. Extremely talented cover bands
The band was fun. Small place and drinks were small and not that strong. Bought a tank top that was overpriced but couldn't leave without a souvenir
Amazing talent. Couldn't believe how busy it was for a Wednesday night!
Great drinks, bands where awesome. Service awesome!
Fun stop to hear some bands on Broadway. Lots of history.
So much fun! Several floors so there s always somewhere to listen to music and different types of artists. The place is packed right, but lots of interesting characters! Definitely check our the rooftop where you get a good view of the entire strip and can plan out your next move as well as get some breathing room.
Fun little piece of Nashville history. Food was excellent the service was spot on and the band was bumping.
Same as others, great bands, good drinks, $5.50 for 4 tortilla chips, I didn't order or eat. Had read other reviews and anticipated it. To pour it on, didn't provide an itemized receipt, to hide the charge, but I saw the bartender's screen.
Take a tip from every other place we visited on Broadway, be honest about your food and practices and people will go back to giving you great reviews.
The music was amazing! We went to see Jake (sorry, I didn't catch his last name but he plays on Fridays and Saturdays) who has quite the local following! Beers were cold, people were friendly, bathrooms were clean and the place was packed!
Stopped in for a drink..The place has happy friendly staff..We had a great time..
Bar maid super friendly and the live music was great!!
Great music, choice of bands in one venue, helpful staff, friendly crowd.
Upon arrival at Tootsies, we struggled at first to find a spot to sit but eventually did by the musicians in the back room. They band was very welcoming asking us questions about where we were from and how we were doing. Sitting behind them at a bar type of seating made us separated from the other tables, but we had menus on the table in front of us so we assumed we would be served. After about a ten minute wait, we decided to inquire about the lack of service. The waitress, in a rude tone, told us that, "It doesn't work that way." And carried on with serving the bar customers. She gave us no explanation about exactly "what" doesn't work that way and after about another 5 minutes we decided to leave and then write this review. Never ever go here, the venue smells, the service is awful, and the music is mediocre.
Great music, good food, great drinks, and friendly staff.
Decent bar. Typical for Broadway. Prices for mixed drinks was typical too, $9 a piece. Geared for tourists. I've done it once, that's enough.
Great atmosphere, always great local music. Bar staff is incredible.
If you don't like crowds, avoid this place. If you like an awesome experience at a legendary part of Nashville history, check it out. It's worth every minute in line.
We had arrived here after so many miles and fortunately, we arrived in afternoon so that we had walked in this block in the evening/night. There're live music, much people and restaurant/pubs. Very fun and enjoyable.
