The Westin Edina Galleria Review

This is a good hotel. Impeccable rooms, good customer service

The ONLY negative was the floors and lobby were ice cold, everything else was perfect.

While booking, I had a hard time with my room reservation but Charles was very informative and helpful. He was able to help my family by working out a remedy that worked out very well. This was even after my initial frustrated encounter with him.
I m very grateful. It was too bad I could not thank him in person.
The other staff was also helpful and very responsive.
The hotel itself was very clean with hand sanitizer every where and wipes to clean your remote/switches. Appropriate for the category and ratings you see.
The location was also excellent and conveniently located 10-20 minutes to everything we wanted to see.
I will definitely be returning here when I visit the area.

The only negative is if you have an electric or plugin in electric hybrid vehicle. The are only 6 EV slots, all taken except for one that was broken. It was also located ALL THE WAY ON THE OTHER SIDE.

This is all based on not using the pool and other amenities. I know someone has posted negatively due to those reasons.

A solid hotel. Recently upgraded to internet TV, has an acceptable gym, small pool and a great Lounge with wine and food for those with status

nice service, we needed more towels and they came up within a few minutes. The food they offered for people in meetings was delicious. The workout room is very nice, but the pool was extremely dirty. Easy access to the mall as well.

Top Notch as expected for a Westin. The in house food is delicious. Staff is exceptional and professional from the front desk to the rest.

I went to a technology summit, and I really enjoyed the venue. There was catering there and the food was very high quality. I would say the whole venue was very nice, from the chairs to the tables.

Beautiful facility, however management will take no time swindling you out of every little penny you own.

We got an excellent rate that lured us away from high prices downtown. Room was spotless, everything right in terms of ambience and comfort. Free parking, and free wi-fi in the room which worked fine. Didn't have time to enjoy the pool, unfortunately. Efficient and friendly service. Terrific!

Employees were all very kind. Hotel is very clean and updated. The club level rooms are spacious and the lounge was very nice. We used the lounge to have a space to relax and have a beverage during our trip. The beds were anything but the "heavenly" bed they claim. They were very hard and we ended up with a make-shift feather bed using pillows so we didn't wake up in pain.

We were not staying at the Westin, but had made reservations at mccormack and schmick's for Christmas Eve dinner. There was no available parking whatsoever, much less the accessible parking I required, so I asked the westin's valet if he could help accommodate us. He did so most graciously. Everyone we encountered in the restaurant and hotel treated us with exemplary courtesy and friendliness. The Westin made this Christmas a memorable one for my family and me. Thank you!

The Galleria has been decently priced and met our every request. They went as far to put a framed picture of my Wife's favorite Overwatch Character before we arrived.

I would like to thank Charles, the concierge for making the stay with my family so special. He really went out of his way to make it a fantastic weekend and I so appreciate his gesture. He was the utmost professional. We LOVE this Westin. It is super clean, convenient to shopping, the staff is friendly and helpful. Thank you and we will be back!

I was really impressed with the attention to detail that this hotel provided. To start off they already have great amenities with high end atmosphere not to mention little touches like aromatherapy lavender essential oils by your bedside. Overall fantastic experience. I would love to stay here again.

The wait staff was awesome. The food, excellent. It wasn't busy when we arrived so the wait for our food was a little on long side but not inconveniently.

A favorite when staying in the southern part of the Twin Cities. Good, shipping and entertainment within close proximity. Rooms are clean and nice. The hotel is simple to get into and out of... With the Westin touch.

Nice place. HVAC went down (hotter than Hades) when we were there but that does not change the fact that it is a nice hotel.

Barns and Noble was very nice. Customer service was top notch!!! Will come back!!

Great amenities and restaraunts. Very clean, in the middle of a great shopping area. Like all Westins, the property is top notch!

I enjoyed my stay here. Rooms super neat and very upscale. The hotel is also within a super great location and within 3 minutes, you can hit some nice places to eat. There is a great mall 4 minutes away and hotel and is also very close to some super great amenities. I totally recommend people to stay here whenever they re in downtown Minneapolis. The view I got was also great. I just wish they offered complimentary breakfast though

I only ate at McCormick and Schmicks, but the hotel lobby and bathrooms were very clean and looked beautiful. The restaurant food and drinks were phenomenal, as always.

Had a great time at the hotel for a wedding. The rooms were very nice and we'll priced for what you get. The beds were amazing.

Beautiful hotel in a great Twin Cities location. Wonderful, friendly employees and everything has been very well thought out. Definitely worth the splurge if you want away from the mall and airport and want a certain level of hotel.

Great room and service. Several food options connected to the hotel directly and via underground tunnel.

Great room, amazing shower/tub with a king sized bed. The air was a bit dry but these things happen. The hot tub was perfect as well. Would reccomend bringing some snacks from a corner store as the rooms are stocked with overpriced goods

Stayed here recently 2 nights during a business trip to Edina, MN. It was an easy Uber ride from the airport to the Westin, and check-in was fast and efficient. Was within my room in 5 minutes.
The Room was spacious and very clean with 2 Queen beds. The bathroom was good-sized with plenty of amenities. Rooms were also quiet with no noticeable outside noise.
The Hotel Bar bartenders are fantastic. Very personable and they make great drinks. Food comes from McCormick & Smick's and it was good.
The Westin is located next to 2 large nice malls.
Definite 5 star.

Great location with lots of shopping and good restaurants. Hotel has very comfortable beds. TV has streaming options too but requires your own logins. Right next to Galleria and Southdale Center.

Exceptional service. Exceptional rooms and amenities. Have stayed multiple times, several were last minute crunches, and the staff is always top-notch. One particular time... last minute, emergency room, with two young children that were completely shaken up and tired- the staff went out of their way to help ease the boys and make the smile with little gifts (rubber duckies and little, portable night lights). Rooms are immaculate, modern, and with large, clean bathrooms.

Was here for a conference yesterday and the hotel and conference room we were in was gorgeous. Super clean and well kept up. The food they served for lunch was exquisite as well for a company sponsored luncheon. Would love to attend another seminar or stay here again.

We had a company party in the nearby restaurant and the experience was great. The hotel was very well kept.

The check in experience was not a good one, The desk person was rude and we felt like he looked down on us. It wasn't a good feeling. He also handed us a handful of cards and a key but never explained how to use them in the elevator or the room. The internet was free but it did not work well at all. That was disappointing. We were also charged extra fees after we left the hotel that had us calling the hotel on 2 separate occasions to clear things up. The room was lovely but we would not ever go back. It was very overpriced for what you got!

Great pool and members lounge. The location is convenient for a meeting and connected to a mall to go walking in if the weather is poor. There are lots of food options nearby. The staff is attentive and will accommodate requests like a fridge and crib or baby in the room.

Excellent hotel, clean room, and good amenities. Within walking distance to many restaurants, mall, and target.

Great hotel..helpful staff..great location..sometimes a bit pricey

Went to this hotel to eat at the restaurant. Carpaccio was excellent but for my meal I got a tuna dish that was slathered in wasabi (which I despise). This was upsetting as the description in the menu did not include wasabi. I ended up losing my appetite and could not get the taste out of my mouth for the rest of the night.

Great place to shop and eat. Wonderful restaurants. Great atmosphere. Excellent parking.

The Westin is an amazing edifice and provide the some of the best in rate facilities. I returned from deployment and they had a note and complimentary bottle of drinks for me and my wife thanking me for my service to the country.

Nice hotel, even smells good. Nothing is complimentary that I could tell. They ask if you "want to go green" though it is just no maid service. Great until you forget to ask for more coffee packets. Connected restaurant overcooked my friends steak something terrible. I bought a glass of wine at the hotel bar. It was the last of the bottle which I think had been opened for way to long by the taste. All minor things.

I attended a seminar at the Weston. The facility was nice, food was good and staff were friendly.
