The Westin Chennai Velachery Review

Stayed in the hotel for 3 nights to attend conference. During stay, availed the services of gym. Excellent gym. Breakfast and dinner spreads were excellent.

Perfect place for a late night indulgence. Drinks are expensive as they apply 58% luxury vat.

Westin , A place which has a great ambience to spend your weekend

Food is worst.... Don't visit here... Find some better place .

Less starter but food is good, more varieties of food

My overall experience for the dinner buffet was not at all satisfactory and not worth spending.We had been there with our office group for the dinner buffet on Thursday,The taste of the starters and the main course was not in line with the brand -Westin. We just tasted and did not feel to have the second bite .It was a waste of money.I am not sure if this gets heard by anyone by the Westin group but would still like to put my reviews here.

We visited Willows Restro Bar / wine and dine.. good ambience and very calm and very awesome quality of food...
Worth for above average peoples..
Budget people's will suffer when bill arrives... Haha..

Awesome room service, professional reception, good quality of food. But there is no security for the hotel that anyone can enter easily. Though its a five star hotel, the cost they ask for food is too much high.

Very spacious parking & Nice restaurants . Rs 1500 per head for buffet

The ground floor and entrance looks great. When in corridors of rooms no proper ventilation, feel not able to breath and kind of not so fresh feeling and some smell that comes from closed places.

The buffet items for dinner were of different varieties but not tasty and food was cold. So many servers came but nobody took any action on complaining.

I stayed at The Westin Velachery in Chennai just this week. The service was excellent and a sense of warmth and incredible hospitality and attention to guests permeates at all levels. The magic drink a concoction of ginger, honey and herbs specially formulated by one Raj Kumar on the Platinum concierge lounge on the 9th floor deserves special mention. My interactions with folks like Runumi Boro, Srikanth, Ezhil and a few others solidified my impression that they really care about guests needs and make the stay an experience worth remembering. I have stayed over 1000 nights (yes, I am a lifetime Platinum) at many SPG/Marriott properties all over North America, but Westin India is far superior and the experience very memorable!

Waste for vegetarians, no panner no mushroom no Gobi, only palak panner, all potato items, they said live pizza counter , but said no pizza on Friday, after fight provided pizza made with normal bred, no taste. No varieties.

Like every other fan of brand Marriott, I am quite fascinated by the the plush design and luxurious way of life available during the stay any of the hotel under the brand. I stayed at the Westin, Velachery and it was no less than an amazing stay.
The food spread at the restaurant was quite big and impressive. The room was quite large and was well appointed with tasteful furniture and furnishings. The washroom too has had plenty of space and atmosphere to freshen you up. The bath tub looked like a killing and I think the hotels should look away from these bath tubs in order to support environment and sustainability.
Pointless to say that service was topnotch and I can confidently tell that the hotel management takes every word of feedback seriously. Customer service and not just luxury is the hallmark of the brand Marriott.

I was for a seminar. Good quality served was great, ambience and staff were pleasing. There were some technical glitch with AV equipments which I define scope of improvement

Most horrible experience, there was some one from the hotel room who came into the room at 2.00 am in the night and on my second stay they said they are over booked and sent me to another hotel 20 minutes away. Horrible dont choose this hotel

Once went there for team lunch.
Food is okey not good but costly.
