Alot to love when you stay in Amarvilas.
1. Friendly staff
2. Walking distance to the entry gate of Taj Mahal
3. All room is facing Taj Mahal
4. Yummy room service
5. Delicious breakfast
6. They gave extra care to children, snack in the afternoon and personalised pillow with their names on it.
7. Beautiful hotel

This hotel has one thing going for it - a view of the Taj from every room. It's so close to the Taj that when you go for a visit all you have to do is take a five minute ride in one of the hotel buggies.
The rooms here are nice enough. Pretty and clean with all the amenities you may need.
But the food is absolutely awful. Or it was for the group of 60 I was with. Everything tastes the same except Eden it's off, which is often enough.
Hospitality is very mediocre. It's certainly not worth the astronomical price they charge.

OK so we had a suite. Probably one of the best hotels in the world and yes I have stayed in some of the best hotels in the world. Staff are silky smooth and treat you lie royalty. If you want to see the Taj - only place to stay IMHO. Gardens /pool are sublime in an otherwise crappy town. Treat yourself you won't regret it.

Its Oberoi standard so ofcourse it's nice but if I compare with my Rajvilas snd Vanyavilas experience it's one star less . Because of covid maybe.

No hotel is compared, elegance and services distinguish it.

The hotel is very clean and it is maintained very well the staff is also very sweet today I had the food in the buffet so I did not like it so I told the staff that I did not like it and I asked do you have dal makhni so they said yes and the said please wait sir I waited for ten minutes and they got freshly made dal makhni and when I asked for the bill they did not charge for the buffet.....

A luxuriouse hotel set in breathtakingly beautiful gardens with amazing views of the Taj. Impeccable service and delicious food. An amazing experience.

Only an oberoi can give such a great hospitality. Meant only for international tourist. However, great place to visit with family. Every room has a Taj mahal view. Services are expensive.

Most nearest grand hotel to Tajmahal,300 meter to walk to reach inside Taj compound.

Best view of the Taj!! Beautiful property.... The buffet lunch wasn't very tasty though...

Very nice hotel, staff helping, the hotel manages the visit to Taj Mahal. The most beautiful pool seen on our 1 month trip to India. Nice view of the Taj Mahal.

i am going but food is not spicy .....not liking indians

It was really an AMAZING experience. Beyond what one could expect. The hotel is really so beautiful and the hotel staff was very nice and courteous. We were there for dining. The food was really tasty but only expect few quantity of it. The table was clean and well set up. It was a candlelit dinner and the service was really immaculate. One wouldn't need to serve anything on their own.. not even fill their own glass of water. The ambience of the restaurant was very calming with the traditional music playing. All in all it was very fine.

Beautiful Grounds and amazing view of Taj. Service not as great as Udaivilas or Rajvilas which is why I took off one star.

It's the best ,the security and administration is good ,it offer job opportunities to the younger as upto age 27 but bad is that they don't give chance to the#35+

What an amazing place it was.... one of the best hotels in East Agra...this is the third time I'm staying in the Oberoi,s...but this was the best experience ....And thanks to the hotel staff for the great service.....price is too low though !

Food, view, luxuary and hospitality all at its best. I can never complete a trip to Taj without having a lunch or drink at the Oberoi Amarvillas.

Beautiful and elegant ambience with a fantastic view of Taj Mahal

The hotel facilities and the cadre are just as the pictures suggest! Amazing atmosphere with grand gardens surrounding the swimming pool. Service was super friendly and helpful. The hotel was build from scratch 16 years ago with fantastic taste!!

I went tajamahal 8 times Renigunta chittor Airport to Delhi Agra airport it's very beautiful place to see I love it again I am going this year 2020 June last year I went 2019 May I will never forget that day it is the most beautiful in my life

My husband and I are privileged to stay in a balcony room in the centre of the complex for 5 nights. The grounds and facilities are impressive. We have tasty meals both at Bellevue and Esphahan. The entire staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. Definitely one of our global memorable hotels stay.

Stopped in for lunch on the way too the Taj. Will come back to stay here when I'm back on town. Amazing place

Beautiful hotel and restaurant with views over the Taj Mahal. An oasis.

GORGEOUS hotel, with attentive staff and delicious food and drinks. They have an incredible view of the Taj away from the noise and crowds of tourists. We got lunch and a drink after doing a tour of the Taj and it was so nice to chill and relax after the hustle and bustle.

Stunning accomodation, with beautiful gardens and excellent location.

This place is amazing. Especially the service is in world class, but facilities, foods and quality use right up there as well
