Delicious Food!! Great service (Diane), tasty drinks, beautiful view! My stuffed salmon was perfect. Everyone at my party loved their food! My first time and can't wait to come again!

Great place to wine and dine your woman. Patio was awesome with the view of the lake. The food was near perfection. The service was on par. Plan on going back very soon.

Very much five star food and service. The menu is smaller, but that plays out well as each of the food choices is amazing. Flavorful, without being overbearing, they also have the perfect portion size for most people. The views make the trip here well worth while also. This is definitely a must visit gem in Medina county

I just found this place yesterday by googling. I wanted us to go for a drive and have a bite to eat. Boy, I am so glad we went.

1. The Grounds are absolutely beautiful..

An idyllic location with beautiful lake views. We sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful summer evening with stunning views and excellent food. Wonderful selection of food and beverages that pleased our large group of 12 people, including kids under 5. We all had the fried calamari appetizer and it was divine.

I attended a wedding here, the venue is quite nice. They claim not to have a nap of their irrigation system and hold you liable if you want to use tents

Went here for Easter lunch today with a party of 8. What a cool, unique place! The warm rolls were my favorite! The buffet was laid out easy to walk through without waiting in a line of any kind, even though the place was packed. Very impressive! Though I wish there was a bigger selection, the food was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. My water glass never went dry. We took a walk out back and oh my, what a beautiful landscape with the lake!

they were unable or unwilling to check on a food allergy concern,eat there at your own risk. The atmosphere is quite nice and with a little more training and understanding of food sensitivity this could be a great restaurant

My wife and I arrived at 7:25 for a 7:30 reservation. We were not sat until a little after 8:00. We left at 8:20 after we had not been greeted by our waitress, a drink order taken, or even given a menu. This seems to be in line with the experience of other negative reviews. For an establishment trying to play in the fine dining arena, they need to take the chance out of what kind of experience you have there.

We went here for a wedding. All in all, out is a very nice place and we enjoyed ourselves!
It was a beautiful outdoor setting by the gazebo and lake.
The appetizers were laid out in the patio area and were pretty good. The wedding reception was indoors. The staff was friendly and did a nice job at our table near the front, but they seemed to neglect the rest of the people.
Some of the dinner was very good, but the beef was not very presentable. The slices were kind of balled up and fatty/gristley. It tasted good, but there was not much meat. I liked the green beans, but others didn't because they weren't quite cooked. But I like fresh beans. All of the other food was very good.

The beautiful view and the live music put the entire outdoor dining crowd in good spirits.

Went for Thanksgiving with the family, the food was amazing the service was outstanding, everyone deserves one night out like this kind of night. Enjoy and bring your money

We were married here years ago. Great place for that. The food and service is excellent. Just be sure to make a reservation.

The place can be great and can be not very good. Have been coming for several years and the food has improved. Service on a slow August 2019 Wednesday night was incredibly bad. Waited 45 minutes for drinks--server Diane said she was having a fight with the bar. We finally had to ask to have our orders taken. Same thing for bread service. Oysters Rockefeller are always great and the food can range from average to average--never bad, never great. We go for the view which is spectacular but be sure to book and outside table for a sunny night so you can enjoy the sunset.

My wife ate there last night with a group of her friends but was hesitant to go as the quality of food had to our opinion declined over the years. We used to go there 4-5 times a year and were always very happy with quality.
She ordered Chicken Corden Blue and was bewildered in what she received. Firstly, it did not appear like anything I ever served as it looked like chicken provolone with a slice of cheese that may not have been Swiss. That would be OK but the chicken was burnt,dry and the presentation lacked the essence of what she paid 26 bucks for. A rolland oozing Swiss cheese not a manhole cover.
She did not want to express her opinion as in her words the waitress was wonderful as was the ambiance of the place

The Oaks is a beautifully charming restaurant set on Chippewa Lake. The food and atmosphere are just wonderful. It has become a favorite restaurant for special celebrations.

Went there to celebrate a birthday in the family. View of the water was nice. Food wasn t worth the drive, service was fair. I thought it was way over priced. I doubt I ll ever go there again.

Nice place and good people. However, avoid the bone - in pork chop. Tough, under cooked and extremly bland. Kind of killed the anniversary dinner atmosphere we hoped for.

My husband and I have gone for dinner multiple times and the food has always been excellent and the service pretty good. We thought we would try our luck for Valentine s Day and regretted it. We waited 40 mins for our table even with a reservation. The hostesses were rude and our waitress never asked for our drink order. I finally asked for a drink it had black things in it. The steak was not edible. Our dessert had a hair in it. I understand it was a busy night but somethings could have been handled better. It was our favorite place and now we don t want to go back.

Beautiful location. Great for special ocassions or if your looking for a less expensive option try the pub bar on the patio! My favorite restaurant just for the setting alone.

We were at the Oaks Lodge yesterday for our anniversary and it was an outstanding experience. Great cocktails, attentive service, yummy food and the atmosphere was very romantic. Thank you for the dessert! We will be back!

Food is as delicious. The blackened salmon was cooked perfectly. The view is worth every penny. Nice to sit on the patio with the great view of the lake.

We were married by this pagoda June 2014. We come back for dinner every year!

Food was fantastic, service was excellent and the outdoor patio was scenic with a great view of the lake. Will go back again!

The group of twelve arrive at 6:30. We were seeted with great view. Fantastic. It all started with what they did not have wich was the salmon. I had reviewed the menu before we arrived.. we did nit get our food until 9:45. We place our entrees at 8:30. The watress return at 9:15 to inform us that they no longer had any cornmeal crusted walleye. I decided i wasnt hungry anymore so my brotherinlaw insisted. . So the only fish that eas availabe was perch. After perch arrived at 9:45. The presentation was horrible. The potatoes were under neath the perch. It was only 5 green beans on our plate. Alsothe perch fish had bones. The three dinners were returned. Watress apologize. I felt sorry for her. I will not recommend this place. By the way our chech was over four hundred dollars. She remove the price of the perch dinners. By the way we waited 3 hours for our dinner. And it was not worth the wait at all. And 45 minutes for our check.

In my opinion this place is way over priced. You get a nice view but I can find a better one for way less money other places.

We had our 50th Wedding Anniversary party with immediate family attending last summer. The Oaks was a perfect choice! Great food, great service , great memories! It was a very easy party to make arrangements for with Kristi S.because she was great to accommodate whatever we wanted or needed. Our server that night was Leata T. And she was absolutely efficient, professional, and so nice and polite. We all loved her! A BIG thank-you to The Oaks for a fantastic evening!

Nice secluded place, if you don't know it's there and pass the signs it's easy to miss. Would be very romantic with a nice view of the lake.

This restaurant is amazingly beautiful. Open and airy. The food is fantastic. I highly recommend making a reservation for an amazing night out. Limit the children though if you are looking for serenity.

Absolutely beautiful place. A place to sit and relax for a wonderful meal. You are treated so well and a beautiful view of Chippewa Lake. One of my favorite places.

I am so happy I finally had a chance to eat here. We made reservations and had a beautiful seat by the window looking out to the lake. We had an appetizer and 2 entrees. Everything was so good. It was our anniversary so we also received a brownie and ice cream

I would not recommend this as a wedding venue. I worked with Leigha who I believe had all intention to make my day how we had discussed however there were many things that were not delivered though agreed upon.

As an update: Johnny (owner) did in fact reach out to us after this waa posted and was open to hearing what we had to say. While it does not change much, we do appreciate that he was responsive and said he would address some items with his staff to ensure there is never a miscommunication or issue again. Our hope is that thoses are followed through because it really is a beautiful, unique venue with an amazing view and good food.

I celebrated my birthday/graduation from nursing school here. Wonderful food and atmosphere. I highly recommend for any special occasion or just an evening out.

Fine dining experience in a warm, cozy, historic atmosphere. The place is artfully decorated for the holiday season.

The food is very good and the views of the lake are incredible, but you will pay for it.

We had our wedding at The Oaks on August 22 of this year. It was a great experience, and we are so happy we chose to have it here. We worked with Glenda, who was always prompt and thorough in getting back to us about everything. She was extremely detail-oriented and helped us organize our day and come up with our timeline for all of the events. The venue was absolutely stunning the day of-it was about 80 degrees, sunny, and made for amazing pictures (which I'll be posting on their Facebook page soon). The food was delicious and truly the best I've had at a wedding. Our guests all raved about the food and about how unique and perfect the venue was. Thank you to everyone at The Oaks for the exceptional experience!

a little warmer. The service was bad, very bad. We arrived at 5 and did not. Get to place our order til 6. They were horribly understaffed. Our waitress was practically running the few times we saw her. Waited 45 minutes for the check. The waitress asked one person at our table if they wanted dessert. He said no and she left never asking any one elsr

This place has delicious food for sure. And the scenery on the lake is amazingly calming

It started out good until we got our meal .We ordered the Chicken and waffles my wife and I. The waffles had something in them that tasted like a cleansing product .Needless to say my wife and I finish couldn't finish our meal.They did give us a refund but we left hungry. For the price you should a great product .The waitress was very nice and accommodating.
