Cozy place but service unfortunately still dramatic

Selected as a lunch location in a cycling tour and certainly very satisfied with the lunch itself and the adequate service. Great stay on the terrace, a right choice.

Nice location and fast service, but the price is substantial and small portions

We would have loved to eat here. WE sat on the terrace and would have liked to have stayed longer. Only dinner was not served on the terrace because they were packed inside. During the toilet visit, there was indeed 1 table occupied inside A pity because high season in Zeewolde you would expect that the catering industry would like to make a splash.

Great place to meet up and sit with a drink and a bitter garnish. Sitting outside is fun!

Delicious eaten outside on the terrace. Neatly operated and also very smooth. Food was excellent and even with coffee a nice little drink with it.

Just cozy and fine. The terrace is definitely worth 4 stars with a beautiful view of the port of call.

This would be a lovely place to spend a warm evening with a bottle of wine, however on this occasion it was cold and raining and as we sat outside with our bikes we were served not only the coffee we had ordered but also a little glass of Bailey's with cream on top. A lovely surprise, well done Lux.

Rare inhospitable. During the serving of the main course we get 1 bag of fries for 4 people, but we are told that we can order an extra bag at any time. The bag of fries is quickly gone, but no one comes by to ask for a new one. When someone eventually comes along, the dessert will be recorded. While I'm still on my main course. I ask for an extra portion of fries. But I am told that this is no longer possible because it is not the intention that the chips and dessert are eaten at the same time. I ask if she does not want to include the dessert yet and if she wants to leave the plates for a while because I have not yet finished with the main course. The desserts are canceled again and when the bag of fries is brought, we have ordered them again. When the desserts are there and I am eating my last fries, it is made clear to me again "that this is not the intention!". According to the regulations, I am not allowed to know when I eat the fries. And when the waitress comes by, the intention is to immediately stop with the main course and start with the dessert. Half-full plates are already removed from the table to be sure. Why the waitress then constantly looked at me with a false smile becomes clear when we receive the receipt. She put the extra chips on the receipt anyway, because clearly I wasn't supposed to be eating them during the dessert of the others. Yippie! Small win! 1-0 for the waitress. He will sleep well and have good stories to tell the next day. It's a bit of a pity that she doesn't realize that such a silly action is not only damaging herself, but also her employer. I have worked in the hospitality industry for 10 years and am a very generous tip giver. This was actually the first time in many years that I didn't tip. With that I could have bought 4 fries. But that aside. I advised the entire tour group with which we were in the harbor for a number of days to eat at the neighbors. Tasty pizzas, nice service, better atmosphere. I recommend it to everyone! Also the readers of this review. We have at least 15 people. Eaten 3 days in a row. And then also a bad review on google. Congratulations on your win girl! Delicious eaten at the Lux. Excellent service by friendly people. Unfortunately, booking in advance was not possible by telephone due to a malfunction, but via Messenger it went perfectly, there was a quick response.

Nice outdoor seating overlooking the water. But the service is very slow. I had a the course surprise menu, but the main surprise was that I got any food at all. Three courses too more than the hours!
The trappist came in huge bottles.

In the end we only drank something. The coffee was indeed (as other reviews indicate) very poor. However, the most important point for improvement is cleaning. What was / is very dirty. Everywhere there were dead flies (dozens), floors very dirty, toilet dirty, changing mat for babies under the stains. Interior really deserves attention. You can guess what the kitchen looks like. Shame about such a beautiful location.

Tim van Oosten has catering in his bloodstream. But he also masters all facets of his profession. His management skills are clearly reflected in the friendliness of the employees. You can see a vision of entrepreneurship in its automation and security. Not only technically, but also financially. Every time it is a party to eat in the restaurant. Delicious food in a warm, cozy atmosphere. We have a game day at the office, then Tim pulls out with his "portable walking buffet" to provide our boys with food. The dishes and plates that are picked up the next day are simply clean. And that is not from the dishes, that is from the scrape ... :-) PRICELESS ...!

Atmospheric and beautiful location on the harbor. Nice food but also very suitable to drink some cozy.

Corporate had that was arranged to perfection. Smooth and friendly service and a nice central location. All in all a great evening!
