Very new pier, obviously rebuilt after fire, not alot of character

The pier is a great vista to see out to sea and back to shore. Its very open with easy access for all. The cafe on the pier has a reasonable choice but the fish batter could have been cooked better

No facilities apart from fish and chips. Not good enough!!

Nothing really happening on this pier, other than a walk for a couple of hundred yard in the sea.

I used to have shares in this pier, them it went bust. At least it's open again now, and the gold animals made us laugh although I bet they annoy the purists. Fab views and worth a stroll to the end

Nice pier with large seating area and a bar. On Saturday there was live music and cocktails.

Hastings is a seaside resort, and needs a pier. Lets hope the local consortium can cut through the red tape and sort it out for people to enjoy

Design means you feel part of the sky and sea. Upper deck nice place for drinks.

If you like Brighton Pier but think it too busy, then Hastings Pier is for you... All the Bohemian feel, the nice places to eat, to walk, and to explore but with much less people.

Went there today first time since it had been restored. Not a lot on the pier but very nice. If you get the chance go and have a coffee in The Deck and sit outside, it was very nice. Must admit that the weather was good though, not sure what it would be like if the weather was bad.

Amazing place! Great beach for dogs! Highly recommended.

Nothing to do on the pier, waste of money. This pier needs amusements and more!!

Good for a stroll in the fresh air, apart from the odd child on a scooter or with a wayward football, it is safe, flat and easy to walk on. Plenty of space to feel relaxed and at peace with the world.

Not a lot going for it yet still awaiting more entertainment areas to be built on

Very little to do besides eating and drinking. All overpriced. Some of the telescopes are broken which gives the pier a feeling of neglect. On the plus side the staff were friendly and even brought a bowl of water for my dog.

Fab place, nicely modernised whilst still retaining an older feeling in architecture

It was great, not many people and there was parts of the beach where you could just sit and gaze out to the water and not worry about thoese around you as the was great social distancing applied

Unfortunately, I went on a day that wasn t busy, so I didn t get to see much activities, but, I can only imagine how busy and fun the arcade would be on a busy day. It s worth visiting.

AMAZING VIEWS! This historic town deserves some skill for what we offer. Except from the owner, who has a `gold` golf cart and Mercedes. Maybe not being rude and underpaying your staff would be a good start. I don`t know why someone hasn`t brought it off you next!

Great local attraction. Check out the huts for some local food specials.

Was fortunate enough to have my first real swim/dip next to this beautiful landmark this morning AM, rude not too really!

Currently at the pier, nice and sunny. Few tourists left at end of summer holidays.
Toilets dont flush , no soap. Half arcade machines switched off or taped up.
The 'memories room' is now full of arcade machines and the new owner really seems to have stuck a finger up to Hastings history, the residents and tourists.
Walk along to st Leonard's or visit the America Ground.
So much more going on with people who care x

Nice and simple pier in Hastings, good view over the sea and beach

Worst fish and chips ever...don't even think it was cod...and you get charge the earth for it.the beach is good but the people and atmosphere seems moody, the people looked like drunks and crack heads and were going to mug you...and I was only there till lunch time...I won't be going back...EVER!!

Went on a windy day, still enjoyed it. Beautiful pier, loves the jungle animals lurking in the undergrowth and loads of beautiful memorials sharing love for the pier.

Beautifully restored shame the cabins closed would have added to the ambience

This was a very nice pier & a good set up for covid, well done team or Hastings council. & The beach was quite empty which was good & with plenty of social distancing.

Would have scored higher but all the tacky gold animals kind of put us off staying longer.

Sorry to say u am sadly disappointed in our pier. I was looking forward to so many good things promised but failed to achieve. Lovely empty space full of nothing and nothing to do. Come on get it together guys!

Alright if you like a plank with huts on it. Can't think how it received an architectural award. Total waste of money.

It's a pier. Well maintained since its restoration and nice to walk along and feel the sea breeze in your hair.

There is a nice little tea shop where the staff are friendly and they do good cakes too!

The security staff on the pier are really friendly and helpful and can drive people to the end in golf buggy style vehicles.

When we visited there were life-sized model animals set out and they looked very realistic.

Nice to visit!

The new drinking area on the end of the pier with over 60 tables and laid back music is great

Okay overall but not that much to do and nothing compared to Brighton!

Great pier, nice little restaurant with outdoor seating and games for children. AMAZING VIEW!

A good selection of food and drink and beautiful views. There are some lovely exhibits and interesting activities for children. During the warmer months there's the Luna cinema and some fantastic concerts.

This Pier is magnifcent and I havent bowed down and am totally ignoring the ostentatious, stupid accessories added by the current owner! Long live this wonderful Pier!

Nicely refurbishment pier. Well worth a visit if you are in Hastings.

Loved it. Good coffee and wines. Helped that it was a beautiful sunny day too.

This is a wonderful piece of retro modern art. Many planks aligned to form 1 massive plank jutting majestically from the Hastings sea front. More of a jetty than a pier but it does point towards France so maybe it is named correctly.

Lovely coastline with plenty to do, lots of reasonably priced parking too.

I love this space, but it is definitely a pier for introverts!

Expansive amounts of empty space at the front and rear, something more could be made of it to attract families and revenue to the front, whilst still keeping the stunning views and space for just sitting and relaxing, toward the horizon.

Great space for a glass of wine and a meet up with friends, though.

Nothing to do due to social distancing being enforced. Pier is running at 30%.

There is little on the pier despite its rebirth. Lots of space, a few outlets, but little else. It would have been a better idea to move it to the Old Town area after the fire, as it not in the town centre and a fair walk from the central places.

Closed due to bad weather (a bit windy!)so, no review possible! I've given it one star as it's not possible to post a review with none.

Congratulations to the new owner of the pier.Hope he brings it back to life. Would be a great idea to maybe have boat trips to Eastbourne pier during the summer season.

We absolutely love the Pier. Plenty of space to run around, lovely restaurant. Highly recommended.
