The layout of the hotel is nicely unique. Granted I'm not a drinker, the bar is very very beautiful! Very cozy lounge area outside of the rooms. The room was very very clean and especially bathroom us beautiful. The bed is top quality!

Overall I liked it. A great room for the price. The bed was big and comfy and the room was large. The shower was great too, overall a very nice room with large windows too. Updated and modern. Lots to do in the downtown area.

The staff failed to inform me that you can only enter the hotel through a locked door in the back after 10pm however; so I was frustrated with trying to get into the hotel after that time when I didn't even realize there was a back door on a very cold frigid night. That was horrible actually.

The breakfast was almost as bad as not knowing how to get into the hotel on a frigid night. The breakfast was put out on the Irish pub bar downstairs and it consisted of: milk, two types of cereal, some unappetizing pastries (at least to me), and coffee. Oh yes, if you wanted bacon or sausage you have to heat it up in the microwave as its thawing out in the fridge. Yes, count me out. Also, the staff who was helping with the breakfast wasn't very helpful in helping me understand that I had to cook the bacon in the microwave or any other question I had.

Luckily there is a nice little coffee shop on the corner right by the hotel entrance that has good breakfast.

I'll stay there again now that I'm prepared to make sure schedule enough time to go get my own breakfast in the morning instead of eating the hotel "breakfast".

Room was spacious, bathroom was incredible. Staff was barely around. The continental breakfast was a joke. You had to microwave your sausage links and bacon. Elevator only goes up to the second floor and then it's 2 flights of stairs to get to the third floor. You need to park 3 blocks away as well. Since it's right by all the bars, it is incredibly noisy at night. The bed is ridiculously firm but the pillows are good. At night, the hotel doors are locked and you need your key to get in. Would be great if the door actually unlocked. It took me 5 minutes to get in.

The hotel itself is beautiful. There must needs to be some improvements.

Large room, large bathroom(with lots of counter space), great bed, and view. Alarm clock, TV, and whirlpool tub were all not functioning though...I would stay here again but make sure to check these things when I first check in.

Love it there. We stop by every time we are in Waukesha. The hotel was great, too, and probably better since the remodel. Remember, this hotel is downtown Waukesha so it ll probably be loud weekend nights.

We were there for a private party. The room was very nice and the facilities were very clean. The food was delicious, served on time, and the staff took care of all requests quickly and courteously. I would definitely recommend them for an event!

I like that the hotel was located right downtown and had a bar and restaurant on site (Irish). Food was great. Staff was very friendly. I had a hard time figuring out where to check in at and although the give you a parking pass you have to go put it in your car and then bring it back before you check it. Sort of a pain when you are parked a fee blocks away and it is cold outside. Rooms are very spacious and nicely decorated. There was a strange smell to the hallway on the second floor that I thinking always there as it was a musty smell but thankfully the smell was not in the rooms. Stayed on Street side which was noisy.

I had the pleasure of using one of the banquet rooms at the Clarke Hotel in beautiful downtown Waukesha. My learning community used the conference space for our monthly meeting and were thoroughly pleased with the quality service and elegant room. It would be a wonderful space for a small wedding, holiday party or banquet. The hotel itself doorsteps away from some of the finest restaurants and shops in the downtown Waukesha area.

The establishment supports racist, White Supremacist views. They had a known racist musician perform there last night and laughed about it. They are despicable. They should have stood up for their patrons of color; instead they found Andreas Transo's racism "funny". As long as he's employed we will boycott this business.
