What a wonderful selection of sweets and Ice Cream. The staff was very pleasant even when overwhelmed with customers. This store should come with a warning, "You Will Gain Weight if you go inside"! We never fail to stop when we are in the area.
Candy is great ! customer service (young girls) not so great. They were very occupied with each other and their phones. I felt like I was an inconvenience to their time.

They say they have 28+ flavors and list the flavors but didn't have the flavor I wanted anytime I went. You should always have kitty kitty bang bang.

This is the most well known store in Nisswa. The selection of Candy is awesome. Ice Cream is excellent. This is a must visit Nisswa location. They had an ice cream flavor called exhausted parents which I thought was good.
Great service and selection I highly recommend this being a stop on your vacation, but be prepared to wait for a bit since this is a popular destination

If you have been to Nisswa and didn't visit the Chocolate Ox, you are missing out! Tons of candy, fine chocolate, "old school" candy, and hard scoop ice cream. Must go!

We were on vacation and stopped in here. We did also last year. Great place to get chocolate, ice cream and various candies but it was a warm day I don't know if their air conditioning was broke or just turned up high, but it was so hot in there and so crowded a lot of people were just turning around and leaving because of the heat. They would have even more business if they would cool the place correctly.

What a great place for some old fashioned and delicious candy! We went between Christmas and New Years and they had a great sale on just about everything! Staff were helpful, fast, and applied all the discounts they could without making us remind them of each one. We also got a few complimentary bags of candy as we checked out! Great place to stop before/on a road trip. Thank you!

A cool little shop/tourist trap with tons of candy and excellent ice cream. Definitely recommended for groups with kids, but be careful because you might never get them back out.

We stopped here on a recent vacation to the area. We were waiting for a to go order to be prepared so we explored the shops on Main Street. We went to The Chocolate Ox not knowing what to expect. They have a great selection of chocolates, ice cream and other candies. There is something for everyone, but I love the chocolate and caramel graham crackers and the s mores. My husband loves the chocolate covered toffee. My kids love the taffy. If you are looking for something to satisfy your sweet tooth, you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend.

Perfect, creamy ice cream! Portions are wonderful for the price and the ice cream is delicious. I've gone back twice within the same week because they have excellent ice cream. They sell a large variety of candy that give my eyes cavities. I would recommend going to the Chocolate Ox if you're within the area.
