Amazing place for anyone looking for assistance with so many situations in life

An excellent resource centre for the LGBTQI community, including social activities, support, forums, they have an on-site cafe, they have a calendar of events and they are friendly. They have gender neutral restrooms. In the park surrounding the 519, many of the available options offered inside can take place in the park. The park also includes The AIDS Memorial, a splash pad and separate fenced off safe area for children. The 519 is an essential community center for LGBTQI and the community that accesses this community centre. The 519 is a safe place and is inclusive.

Been coming here for years for various reasons and functions. A judgment-free zone always plus gender neutral washrooms.

T'was once upon a time my 2nd home, but it is a great place to LGBTQ2S (not sure if the correct lingo) especially new youth who have come out and are lost in these crazy world.

Encouragement,hope, fun and oneness!! I was almost in a state of hopelessness, until i got to 519 and MCC I got myself back. 519/MCC, places to be.

Excellent place for community groups and community organizing.

Habitat Services had there Halloween Dance there, It was Great There was a big dance floor, I danced to most of the songs & Dave & I knew all the words to all the Songs.

Shame on you for supporting hate, bullying and assaulting other people that disagree with your opinion or opposite lifestyle. Freedom of speech was granted for people like you at some point in history, the moment you become violent for a different opinion it becomes hypocrytical, how would you feel if it was the other way around? But thank God love never fails thats why Jesus died for people in the LGBT communities. Hope court bring justice to what was done the innocent pastors.

Very big community center. Staff were nice & helpful. Finger food were great. Lots of bathroom stalls. The room that we were in last night for presentation was very roomy. Will recommend this place.

My first time visiting this place....had to do it for a class project. Nice friendly staff with great personality.

A safe place for all. Welcoming to all from any walk of life. The 519 truly defines what a community centre is.

So glad that this is a part of this community. I think its such a beautiful space with some great people running it. I always feel welcome coming there. And theres a lovely cafe on the side of the building.

Been a long long time since I've been to the 519....but I remember about 200 years ago when I was 14 going to the 519 for their LGBYT groups!! So much fun and totally welcoming...and not nearly as many labels as there are today . Glad to see the parks still there

Staff/Volunteers are friendly and very kind. My only concern was the washroom cleanliness. All other areas were lean and well kept.

I go often and the staff volunteers and groups are what has he coming back. They are just the community I needed .

Venerable, be-loved community centre in the heart of downtown East end Toronto.

Fantastic community resource. I attend a weekly mindfulness meditation group here and it's a fantastic facility.

The community was lucky enough to have the 519. The 519 offers several resources for everything from mental illness to homelessness. Hey if you are hungry come in to work tomorrow and think of how the 519 feeds the homeless. They have several programs tailored to LBGT youth and

From photos in google this place interested me. But when I arrived, I did not find anything interesting. In vain spent her time.

Nice community centre. High pitch talk every so often, just remember to be respectful with every body.

Fantastic place for our Outreach meeting anf lots of history in this building.

There is a parenting center and also caters to multiple activities within the community.

Always very pleasant and hospitable. Rooms are free to rent. Donations appreciated.

The folks at the 519 are nothing short of AMAZING! We work together fairly often and they are organized, super friendly and treat our delivery crew with respect!! I had attended an event there last year and WOW - what a cool space! Loved the 2nd floor event space! The ceiling was lined with balloons and it was such a fun and welcoming atmosphere! Thanks for everything - Carl and Will, you are amazing!

A fun safe place to enjoy & just hang out. Nice cafe. Lots of meeting places for various groups. Activities galore. A busy place.

I went in to 519 today to enquire about Volunteering and asked at reception........and they gave me a card and said I could look online.
He never said another word to me and went back to his desk.......
It wasn't a good or welcoming experience.
I want to volunteer but with such an unenthusiastic response I don't know?

Supportive space for Queer, TBIPOC, LGBT folk and community members. Great range of programming.

I came here as an LGBT refugee from Jamaica and it is the only organization I have been connected to - needless to say there are tons of programs and services available free of cost to LGBTQI individual.

This is the place I got my; bank account set up, Ontario ID, information about my health card, PR application, Citizenship application, volunteering experience, file my taxes, counselling support. You name it, they can give you the information in obtaining it. Oh and they do have the best pride parties. I literally can't wait to become a Social Worker so that I can give back to this great place through counseling support.
