Thalia Theater Hamburg Review

Impressive productions, a high-class ensemble and a wide-ranging program make the Thalia Theater a great experience.

Had a fantastic evening. Great show, friendly people, easy to find... just as they promise on the website. Long-legged people may find the leg-room a tiny bit small

Great talk theater. Interesting productions with outstanding actors.

The performance Tartufe was a real treat. I am very amused.

In every production I was thrilled by the ensemble.

We were on the top row. The seats were comfortable so far, leaning back you couldn't see the front part of the stage. Zero legroom. Poor ventilation. The warm air dammed up. This made sitting in a 4 1/2 hour session a pain.

Nice theater. Ordinary view from all places we had so far there. We would look again anytime there.

I love theater and was here in the play Mother Courage. I liked it very much!

Unfortunately, the air conditioning failed (in the summer of the century)

If you are looking for a good theater, the Thalia Theater is the place to go to.

We have only experienced first-class evenings at the Thalia Theater so far.

A very large hall with terraces.
However, when you sit down, you don't see as well as on the terraces.

Nice theater with a classic ambience.
However, the space for tall people in the upper ranks is already quite cramped. In addition, there is only a very limited view of the stage from the outer seats in categories C and D.

I can really only recommend it! Beautiful location with great theater performances that you will never forget.

Amphitryon wonderful piece, great actors and a lot of sadness at the end when the actors applauded the few spectators .... please come back soon !!

The Thalia Theater is an institution. This is not rated like an internet shop

Always an experience! Seats, especially in the boxes, increase the enjoyment of the theater.

For me the best theater in Hamburg. It has a nice hall, good actors, an interesting program and reasonable prices. I really enjoy going there, some pieces are better, some are worse, but I have never really been disappointed.

T Vista Social Club. Bad underground. Without suspense, bad jokes and excessively vulgar.
No pause in the program so that you can't just walk in between. The director knew why.
After an hour we couldn't stand it anymore and are out. A few have already gone in front of us.

Not seen such a bad play in a theater for a long time. But unfortunately again disappointed in the Thalia.

Absolute waste of time, money and nerves.

A theater in the city center of Hamburg, which offers a diverse program. Here you can see modern adaptations as well as classical pieces. The ticket prices are moderate and there are many discounts, for example for students. All in all, always worth a visit.

Partly very curious and funny theater performances. The hall itself is large and well equipped.

I think that it was mainly up to me that I did not like the play so much, because I'm not that kind of guy in the theater and also had to look at school as a school trip and I just do not find this topic exciting. In itself, the theater has a very interesting architecture and the actors have done their job outstanding! My seat on the top floor in the 1st row was also not optimal, because I had to prevent me not only to see a small part of the stage and I could not lean on.

I saw Faust 1 and 2 there in a performance that I will never forget. Great.

When I loudly announced, there was the ladies toilet, I was kindly pointed out that the gentleman toilet, which I urgently needed, only one door further back. Very friendly staff and the ideas are always a cultural treat :).

I enjoy going to the Thalia Theater very often and often, great inoculations that often have a good mix of comedy and poetry.

I saw "Network" shortly before the lockdown. Great piece, more current than ever, the main actor a sensation. You can't even imagine a sober crime scene inspector

It was a very nice theater evening here. The finest Hamlet a tip! Arrive quietly a little earlier to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere.

I know and love the night shelter, I haven't been to the theater yet.

Beautiful theater. We have riveted one of the boxes. The view of the stage was great, the right theater feeling came up. We recommend.
