Very nice theater! Very nice tour too, it is in English with a nice guide. You can sit in the theater itself and then look around the spacious suite and the small booths. This is what you should visit on a trip to Naples!

The Teatro di San Carlo is one of the most famous and prestigious in the world, as well as the oldest still active theater. It is connected to the nearby Royal Palace by a walkway that allowed the Royals to access it without passing through the public roads. The stage reserved for them is of considerable size and certainly worth a visit.
Going in with your eyes closed to reopen them only when you are in the stalls or on a stage, bring back to the 1800 many are the brocades, velvets and gilded stuccos.

Sumptuous theater of Naples alongside the royal palace.
It can be visited either by taking advantage of one of the numerous opera or dance shows or by daytime guided tours.
The latter are very well done and allow you to better see the whole theater.

The oldest opera house in Europe, and among the most beautiful and important in the world. The acoustics are perfect. Horseshoe-shaped with 5 tiers of boxes, large stalls and a royal box, it can hold almost 1,400 people. On his model theaters have been built all over the world including La Scala. From the inauguration in 1737, all the most important figures in the world of opera, from directors to musicians, from singers to directors, performed at the San Carlo.

Needless to say, how well this theater is artistic and institutional. It is well known. A temple of music. Huge theater, very competent staff for what concerns the control and the obliteration of the ticket. Costs in the norm considering the high world fame enjoyed by the San Carlo theater. His exceptional orchestra boasts the best instrumentalists in Italy and beyond. Big performances every year bring thousands and thousands of people to the city. It is not too complicated to organize parking (It is 500 meters away with a lot of surveillance, therefore for a fee). The top of the top.

Beautiful theater in the heart of Napoli. Located actually inside of the Royal Palace. It serves as the Opera House for Naples. If you can get tickets it is an eyeful. Even if tickets are unavailable, take a tour of the facility. It is an amazing sight. The plush gold and red velvet fill the senses. Do this

We passed by going to the Royal Palace. We found that there were guided tours.
It was a beautiful and very interesting visit thanks above all to the very good guide in detailing and telling historical anecdotes.
We also visited the stages including the Royal one.
For our children it was wonderful and unrepeatable.

San Carlo Theater is the first built in Italy and the second in Europe. On its stage sang our most famous opera singers such as Boris Hristov, Raina Kabaivanska, Nikolai Gyuzelev. In this theater I felt like in a temple, touched by the lights of the opera. For guests of the city, there are hourly visits to the Teatro San Carlo.
