Target Distribution Center Lindale Review

One of the worst DC ever. Being here since 5am and it s now 11:07 am and still waiting. Hard to cancel my next load because of them. No more Target.

Just adding a bad review to all the others since it all the same....5 hrs+to unload a trailer and then another hr to call ya for pprwrk....
When truck stop coming here they will still take more than 5 hrs to notice!!what a waste of time

Is the worst place I ever been to. My appointment was at 5pm live load...and have told me that my paper work will be ready until 6:30 am the next day because they unload first, then they break it down the pallets, then if your load is good then will give u the paper work, but if the load is rejected they will load u back. I have lost my next load for this stupid guys. Never coming back.i only put a star because u have to because I'll would of put none.

Be prepared to not do anything outside of work. This company wants all your time no matter what. Bosses rotate quicker than regular employees do. Nothing is a rule for very long. Very inconsistent work schedules. You get called in on OT just to be sent home or work 2 or 3 hours. Just enough to waste your family plans.

One pallet 4:30 hours and counting.
Not like others target DC these place is not organized At all avoid by any coast. Disgusting

Horrible employer. Supposedly have paternity leave and pay. Never happened. Then the pay after was spotty at best for 3 months. (Received 2 weeks worth of pay in 3 months) then, get injured and instead of using workers compensation for lost wages and medical help, they just shrug it off and never let you come back to work. Shame on you.

Live unloading is a nightmare. They take drop trailers over live appointments

Easy in and out, plenty of room for backing maneuvers, nice security staff.

Best place to go!!! I am thinking of changing to Target dedicated

Awful wait times! We had arrived an hour before our appointment time at 6:00pm...... It's now 2:00am and the yard dog JUST took our trailer to another dock. We're definitely hitting somebody with detention pay. It could still be several hours before we FINALLY get out of here! This D.C. Is horrible to deliver too, aarrggh!!

0 STARS ! Appt for delivery 18:00 time out next morning 04:22am

Great place to drop trailer and go home and they do all the work moving your trailer. They have truckers lounge too

Avoid this place got here at 1730 for 1800 appointment and it is now 0505 and I m still here

Receiver during the afternoon shift was quick and handed the paperwork in a jiffy.
However, spent almost 6.5 hours of my logbook here.
Looks like all other comments here are for a reason.
Asked to unhook the trailer and then the yard jockey will take your trailer, while you wait from dawn to dusk.
If anyone from receiving care to read the comments, be advised that the truck drivers have to follow an hours of service rule.
They cannot violate that rule.
So be very considerate and try to improve your receiving tactic.

Just a distribution facility with no overnight truck parking.

When it take more than at least 4 hrs to unload and breakdown this place need to change. Jobs. I have been here close to 11 hrs I arrived 1 hr be for my appt. And I was told it would take over 8 hrs to get me unloaded it's going on 11 hrs now this is bill sji

I'm posting this review based upon the job quality and work environment in the warehouse inbound and outbound departments. The pay is tempting but do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. Questions asked in the interview More

This place is garbage I arrived 1 hour before my appointment time turned my paper in and I was told it would take 7 hours to unload so I waited when those 7 hours was up I called then they told me another 3 hour and every time I called after that they kept pushing my time back I set here for 11 hour when they called me and told me to come get my paperwork and they were on break so I waited another 30 mins so drivers avoid this place I ll never go back

Easy in and out, if you're just dropping and hooking.

As other have stated, if you re a truck driver stay away. They will take5-6 hours to unload you from aapt time and i was an hour early just in case. I only had 2/3 of the trailer of cereal and they took over 5hrs to unload. This is the only place where i even saw daycabs wait 3-4 hrs to get loaded unloaded. Terrible!!

They take a long time to download my appointment was for 8 and 30 in the morning and it was 5 and 30 and I had not downloaded my truck

People were nice and there's plenty of room to move around but it takes forever to get unloaded. This last time was almost 9 hours.

0600 appt which we were early for and empty at 1400 - Now my driver has to sit the whole weekend because he missed his reload. Avoid this place at all costs. We sit and lose revenue for the weekend. Places like this are going to put us out of business and they don't care. We will never haul a Target load again.

Eight hours to unload, arrived one hour early, Pathetic.

Do not deliver here, I repeat DO NOT DELIVER HERE, better yet DONT RUN LOADS FOR TARGET. I showed up at 7:30am for a 8:30am appt. I dropped my trailer took my bills inside and was told I have 120 something pieces and they told me it will be 6-7 hours to unload. Also, I sat 18 hours on the load till my appointment time which would add an additional 24 hours to the load. 3 days on a load that pays 1600$ that took 16 hours transit time. I was loaded in an hour and a half there s no way this load should take 6-7 hours to unload.

This place is horrible and very slow!! What a shame.... poor management

The leadership skills management has here is non-existent. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Very unprofessional. Most of the people working here are miserable, which is unfortunate. Target is basically the next Kmart, which is almost extinct.

Geat people, safety is their #1 goal.. Im proud to be a team member during these trying times of Covid 19 Pandemic. So blessed to be able to have a job.

Super slow to unload (live load), would not come back here again. Was told to park on one door later they move the trailer to another door to get it unloaded and after they finish they park the trailer in the yard. Nobody call you when they are done so you have to go through the yard to see if they are done with your trailer. After you find your trailer you go to the office to get your paperwork. I think this is big waste of time to go through all of that , just because they are not organized.

Guess I got lucky. Arrived at 9am for a 10am live unload, was done at 1pm.
