I go here at least every few months for their lunch specials. It's a bit pricy but everything is made from scratch! Love the coconut chicken curry and the paneer. I've gotten the paneer in different ways here but both are great...and I forgot the name. the restaurant is clean, and the staff is friendly! If you go, and there's a small female server working with 1 or 2 braids, you'll be in good hands.

Went for my niece's birthday tonight. My first visit, she is practically a regular! The food was delicious, although we had a good wait.....you know it is cooked to order when it takes a while for the food to come! We were a party of ten! Jasmin was the live entertainment, which was a total surprise! She is a stunningly beautiful belly dancer! Her costumes were gorgeous, and authentic. Our youngest boy ( not quite 2!) was totally mesmerized by her! The owner was a very jolly fellow and told us he Hope's to re-open the Scottsdale location, which would be awesome as we live in East Mesa! So, go for the food, the fun, and the ambiance, just be patient- good food is always worth the wait!
The food is decent but takes a long time to get it served. They deliver the starters after the mains. The soda is almost flat. The servers are nice but not very attentive.
Awesome food incredible service a little bit Americanized for my tastes but it worked out well because I brought my non food adventurous siblings with me to try out Indian food
Delicious!! My favorites are the Coconut Chicken and Chicken Tikka Misala, I could seriously drink that sauce!! Garlic Naan was a yummy accompaniment. My boys had the Lamb Vindaloo and Spicy Tandoori Wings and my hubby the Tandoori Chicken. Everything tasted great and was so flavorful. Will definitely go again. Wasn't too busy and is very family friendly.
The food and service were great. The prices were way too high, $13.95 plus $4.00 for a drink. There are many delicious lunch buffets that include the drink. Plus there were no desserts.
I ordered takeout this weekend. I was helped with my order and given a 35 min wait time. While ordering they offered suggestions since i was feeding a large group. Their tandoori chicken has a a different taste than what we were used to but still good.
Couldn't rate based on food, because they never asked for our order nor did we even receive menus. The other tables didn't have food either. Didn't have the patience for this place.
Excellent food and service. Was surprisingly happy with all of our selections as I m normally not into Indian cuisine! But good here was fantastic and my sis and I were surprised with how talented the Belly Dancer danced! Very interesting evening!
This was the worst in Indian food I've had in a long, long time. On May 23. I had ordered a take-out for 1. Chicken Seekh Kabob - So dry, flavorless and rubbery, not even some kind of chutney to go along with it 2. Lamb Biryani - Absolutely NO flavor, not even salt ... looked like khichdi with chunks of rice and meat 3. Mango Lassi - Very sour I am never ordering from here ever again. And the prices are higher than the other Indian restaurants in the neighborhood.
Food is good but way overpriced. We ordered 3 meals and it was over $55. Our order was to go... we did not receive rice, naan or anything else... what Indian restaurant doesn't give rice?? Wont be going back.
I spent a month and a half in India eating everywhere I possibly could, and have met some very amazing Indian chefs here in the states, so I promise that this is not an inexperienced rant. It started off fantastic with some decent vegetable pakora and samosas. When we had arrived, the restaurant was not busy, yet it took close to 10 minutes just to get drinks to the table. In what I can only believe is a shortage of some special rice they have, I'm charged almost $10 for 3 plates of mediocre rice. 90% of the Indian restaurants I have frequented, include rice with every dish you order, and one bowl is usually enough for 3 or 4 people. One of these plates is barely enough rice for one person. Then the dishes came out...murg makhani, saag ghosht, chicken tikka masala, and beef vindaloo, garlic naan, plain naan, and tandoori roti (there were a fair amount of people). Outside of the vindaloo being exceptionally spicy, which I like, everything else was bland. How the heck does anyone make bland Indian food? I'm not sure how this is even feasible. The portions were ridiculously small for the prices they're charging, also. Last but not least, naan should not be as crunchy as a cracker...but I solved the mystery before we had paid a ridiculous bill and left. They were all busy watching the "belly dancer" that they hire to come in on the weekends and dance. More over, I am not sure they could have heard themselves over the speakers that were turned up to 11. Overall, this place is a gimmick and perfectly setup for people who don't want the full experience. Going back to where I know I can get, near perfect Indian food.
This place is fantastic! My wife and I have tried 7 of their recipes and they were all great! They have a belly dancer on Saturday night and the atmosphere was amazing!
I had to leave a review. I have been in AZ 2 years and trying to find chicken saag like I had in my hometown. I have tried many and these guys came up on postmates and I took a chance. It is even better than my old long standing favorite. I got it with the Vegetable Biryani rice which was awesome too. Also, so much food in one order it lasted me 3 meals. Only thing I expected to get white rice with the saag so if I hadn't ordered the rice dish I am not sure if I would have gotten rice with the order.
My daughters and I really enjoyed the food here. I think that the food is a bit different than it was a year or more ago. The Chicken Tikka was different. Not gross but just not as creamy and flavorful. The naan is also different. Still good and very large. Two people can share one piece. Loved the lamb vindaloo and the samosas.
UPDATE: I have been supporting small businesses as best as I can during this pandemic. So tonight I placed an order from UberEats. We received a tiny amount of food. It is just sad. I paid a lot of money for this dinner. It would have been $70 but with the 30% off from Uber it was $52. The amount of food I received was worth $30. We received about one cup of seasoned rice and very small portions of Vindaloo and Tikka Masala. Plus we didn't get any mint chutney that was asked for numerous times on my order... didn't want them to forget it. Well they did. But the portion size for the money is pathetic. I feel like I have been robbed. Very unhappy. Probably will never order or dine there again. :(
If I could give 10 Stars, I would. Great food, great drinks, even better service. We were pleasantly surprised tonight (Friday about 7p) with live belly dancing entertainment. Our daughter just loved the interaction! We will be back :)
Some of the worst service ever. There was bugs under the table and the food was cold and horrible! Will never come back to this dump of a place! #hatersmakemefamous
Very authentic Indian cuisine so delicious, but the service was not that great. It took a very long time to get someone to come over and take our order. The owner is a sweetheart and the food is absolutely to die for.
We went there on a saturday night. Got different entrees including lamb, chicken and paneer. All were good. We also enjoyed the pita, rice and tea station. They had an outside belly dancer come for a half hour routine, we enjoyed the show! We will return.
Chicken 65 appetizer is awesome, but very HOT! The lamb kebab was DELICIOUS Chicken Tikka Masala was delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection and the waiter Justin is both professional and attentive.
Great place to dine on a cold night...food will warm you up when you order "very hot" spice level. Also complimentary chai tea that was yummy! Naan bread is amazing...Good service...Belly Dancing on Friday nights
The food here is great, which makes it just sad that their customer service is so shoddy. I ordered food to pick up, I was called 4 times by the staff to nag me to pick it up. I got there 10 minutes BEFORE the resturant closed and the staff was still super rude to me!
This place is amazing, the flavors and species in the food is the best and the fresh yogurt and naan was excellent.. everyone in our part was impressed
The best Indian Food in the Valley, hands down. I will drive an hour just to get a taste of this place every other month or so. I tried finding a place of this quality in the East Valley and they simply cannot be matched.
Perfect? No. But damn close. Sonny is a wizard. Hopefully they open a location closer to me soon.
I ordered through doordash, and I just paid 23.00 for a small 6 or 8 oz bowl of curry!! No rice no side not anything!! To make it worse there was almost nothing but broth in it! that is absolutely ridiculous!
Can t believe this place had over 4 star rating and still the food was awful when I visited twice. First time I just had chicken Biryani to go which was waste of money with no taste and a very limited quantity compared to the others in the valley. Second time I visited with my friend and the staff was not helpful since we were just interested in appetizers and didn t receive good service.
At last, I don t recommend this place since I visited both the times by looking at the reviews.
Excellent food. Got the Chicken Tika masala, rice and garlic naan . Best I've tried on the westside . Restaraunt is cozy and clean .Take out was quick and fresh. Price was fair . I will definitely be returning .Open on Sunday was also a plus .
Have not tried it yet, but they have a lunch buffet before 2pm and I've also heard mention of belly dancers .
I love going here. The food is amazing! The only reason I am giving it two stars is because they put peas in the rice. I hate peas, my husband hates peas, my brother hates peas, and other people I have encountered at the restaurant hate the peas in the rice. They didn t use to put the peas in there but now it s the only way you can order it. You can t order it without peas, there is no option for that. With how expensive the food is I should be able to order the rice without peas. So unfortunately we won t be coming back until it changes.
Arrived at the last minute. They graciously welcomed us for a wonderful buffet meal. Typically after eating Indian food I smell like indian food. Not here. They have high ceilings and intricate decorated upside down umbrellas plus a large outside dining area. Very nice. The only thing is the pricey buffet at $14. They had a special 20% off to bring the price down to a tolerable level. I'll be back.
Food is great and service usually when you eat in. But don t order take out from Uber eats or grub hub - $60 for two tiny take out containers of masala. No rice or anything. We spend money on eating out - this is a total rip off! Good grief!
