Been there twice (March 2013, January 2015) to watch Brisbane Roar v/s Sydney FC and Australia v/s China in the 2015 Asian Cup. Loved both occasions especially as I got the chance to see my hero Alessandro del Piero.

Transport is organised really well here when big events are on. Food and drink grossly overpriced which is normal for these venues. Seating is uncomfortable but yet again you expect it at a venue like this. Overall though great place for concerts (aside from the rain)

Food and drink prices are ridiculous. Food standard is very poor.
$6 for a small packet of chips for a child?
No variety, no decent healthy food at all.
Beer and wine in plastic cups at $9... get real...
Seating great, crowd control great. Cigarette smoke drifts inside stadium from outside .. unhealthy esp for kids....poor policing by security.

The stadium was clean and atmosphere enjoyable but as any other American would say, this is a worn-out college level stadium that you no longer find hosting pro or national level sporting events. Surprised at how empty and tame the crowd was during the AUS v ARG Rugby Championship game. Even more surprised how dead the city was on my way back to the hotel and it was only 10:30. If you have never seen a rugby game then go, if you have then skip.
