Great family ski and snowboard. Wish the prices were a little less : (
Went to the ropes challenge course. Lots of fun! A good challenge.
Very nice, clean, quiet little beach. Plenty of space (during COVID reservation period) and good beach/sand/water quality. Wish we were here during non-COVID times as it seems there's a playground, bath house, and little burger stand/pool toy store that would've otherwise been open. Lots of grills & picnic tables as well.
Nice fall foliage that you can see. Nice view of the lake. Clean white sand that borders the lake. I would like to check this place out in the summer. Boat launch, picking tables and restrooms available.
One of my favorite places in the world. Take the chair lift up, or hike, the view is incredible.
Really cool park with a lot of stuff to do. We hiked up a ski trail and back down through the woods. There's a bunch of mountain biking that you can do which looked fun
I was so glad the lodge was open at the top! We hiked the Newbury trail to Lake Solitude before venturing up to the top!
This is my second favorite place to go skiing. Always a great time.
Nice spot with year round activities and beautiful scenery.
Great smaller mountain. I've been a couple times with friends who are novice skiers and snow boarders and there is a good mix of trails for all ability levels. Compared to some of the larger mountains, Sunapee is easier to get in and out of and the whole process is less of an ordeal. The time between pulling in and getting out on the slopes is a lot shorter.
On a less positive note, there are only a couple lifts, so when one goes down, the other gets crowded in a hurry.
Good mountain for all levels of skiers and snowboarders
Fall colors were beautiful. Lots of long trails for hiking. Several ski slopes that looked like they would be fun in winter.
Such a beautiful lake and free parking makes it the best place to picnic in all 3 seasons. We had a loads of fun to peep fall colors near the lake
Very nice lake to swim in. Snack/rental/play items at a decent price.
Our longtime favorite that rarely fails to make our day no matter the base with excellent groomed range of trails and supporting infrastructure, lodges, food & services provided with scenic views.
Craft show was amazing. So many interesting makers to see and talk to.
Loved the park and the water great playground for children and BBQ grills available. Make sure to take your trash with you though.
Awesome state park. Hiked the summit trial with family, great shady trial. Hard in places with heavy roots and rocks. If u have teenagers and above in your group it's a nice 4-6 mile hike up & down .. definitely checkout views from the ski slopes and also the lake solitude from the white ledge. Would not recommend the hike for little kids and up to 14. Go on a week day and enjoy the serenity of nature from the top of the mountain !!
Did the 4-hour mountain biking, including renting bikes, for my 2 pre-teen boys. They loved it and can't wait to go back. Everything well maintained, clean. Service very prompt and very friendly. While they rode I took the chairlifts and walked down. Very pleasant time. We brought our own lunch but have had lunch there before and the food is surprisingly good.
A good mountain but end of December and still not much for terrain parks...
Had a great day skiing here on a Saturday in February. It was crowded according to one of the Ski Ambassadors, but we thought the lift lines moved quickly. Staff was friendly, and prices for tickets and rentals were reasonable. Good snow.
Great family mountain. Learned to ride here as a kid, I continue to ride here twenty years later and it never gets old!
We were actually at the ski resort. A very nice property
Was a wonderful day at the Lesgue of NH Craftsmans Fair.. Beautiful crafts to look at and buy.
Great selection of trails, good snow, friendly staff and absolutely amazing views!
Great place to relax always clean. Staff is always friendly and helpful.
New England, leaves you! Breathless. You have the beach, hiking, summer and fall eventz. Mountain biking, camping ect. Pricy... But! Worth it.
Great family mointain with trails for all skills and abilitys
Beautiful spot. I was just stopping briefly to eat lunch, and appreciated the nice views.
Best kept secret (well, not anymore) for camping. Only 10 plots & theyre very separate from eachother. Quiet. Peaceful. Plus multiple bathrooms on site!
Grooming is top notch. New RFID tickets reduces the hassle.
sooo disappointed..while on a road trip we'd thought we'd stop at a state park and take the dog on a nice little hike as most state parks offer such, we were sorely disappointed that it was nothing more than a ski area..not a state park..maybe the name needs to be changed to sunapee ski area..
Hiking was ok..Not difficult view was ok but for state par beach you have to pay $5 per person if you are not from state.
Recent logging has changed this place dramatically. Still a nice long gradual climb with lots of interesting minerals and less ticks. Great view on top.
Snow conditions were good and the ski school instructors were great.
Scenic veiws of lake sunapee. Easy to modetate ski trails with a handful of black diamonds, terrain parks. And sweet glades when there is enough snow in the woods.
The chairlift up the mountain provides a great view. The ride down is even better because you can see the expanse of Lake Sunapee. I think the smaller lake might be Little Lake Sunapee. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Great Ski trip with runs for the whole family.
Not clear on the website but they have an excellent terrian park with 3 areas including large and medium features and a path that is just humps and turns that's great for budding trick skiers
Just an FYI all you can do is ski!! Stopped by off season thinking there might be a hiking trail but there wasn't. There is a beach on the other side. Again no hiking. And NO PETS!! Well at least that's what there sign says. People definitely bring their dogs as evident by their poop everywhere! I'm sure it's nicer during the summer at the beach but there isn't a lot of things to do. Was kind of disappointed there wasn't more
In the summer there is alot of great activity's for family's to enjoy. Also the winter time u got skiing . Pluse concerts at the lodge.
Superb.
Clean, clean, clean. I do not know how most New Hampshire state parks are ran, but I know from my experience growing up in Florida that state parks can be a nasty and dirty place when improperly managed.
That being said, this was my first lakeside beach I've ever been to, so I was a little starstruck.
Great place to enjoy family time and to cookout they provide charcoal grills to use.
Beautiful scenery and even more beautiful when the bed of snow is there.
This is a real gem of a spot went on a Tuesday not that crowded and beautiful even a little store for food and ice cream
It has to be one of the best places in new England to witness peak fall. We were lucky to be at best time and views were fantastic. I loved it. Very nice place to visit with friends or family.
Long wait to get in hit or miss if you were waiting to go in and they knew you were waiting just outside park was nice busy though
Great mountain, views, and experience. Staff are super friendly.
This place was perfect for our family gathering. Lots of tables as well as grills. Parking and entry was so easy. Much love, had a outstanding day.
