If you've never been to the St Paul Farmers Market, it's time for you to check it out. It's a great location for those of us who don't have cars. Fresh local produce abounds along with some good musical entertainment. I love getting my raw honey there.

First time making it to this market. We had to walk very quickly through it, so I didn't get to look at things too closely.

I was impressed with the quantity of vendors at the market. Many had the same vegetables, but that's pretty normal in a farmer's market, especially at this time of year.

The market itself was set up nicely. It handled a lot of people walking through well.

It may not be the biggest farmers market. Maybe not even the best, but it offers a wonderful variety of local veggies, fruits, meats and baked goods. It's one of the best things about living in lowertown.

Plenty of variety with seasonal items, but this time of year (early spring) it's pretty much the same from table to table. I did see some new interesting items, like pirogi and more bakery items!

The Farmers Market is really nice. I wish there was a bit more space, it gets really crowded....Think umbrella stroller if you have little ones. I do love the idea of locally grown/raised, but more organics would be great. Beware parking can be tricky.

I don't really have a review for Farmers Market. I was just waiting for the bus at the Farmers Market parking lot and then Google asked me to rate my experience there. Tenouttaten bus waiting experience.

Small cozy farmers market in the heart of downtown St Paul offering a variety of food and plants for sale. Someone stated it was the oldest continuous market in MSP vicinity.
From buffalo, honey, vegetables of all sorts to quilts, hot ready to eat food and more. Opens early with vendors beginning to depart at noon.

Always beautiful flowers...great treats...my daughter loves the fresh lemonade and live music. Nice too that you can use the EBT tent for coins with your debit card if you forgot cash; especially since the closest ATM always seems to be broken.

Great place to go and just relax.

Great place to go and just relax.
Tip 1). The herb man is amazingly knowledgeable and pleasant. You must talk with him. Find him by his well feathered leather hat.
Tip 2) Though ATM access is low you can buy tokens from the both in the North side that substitute for cash at the farmers market.

Our 1st time to the St. Paul farmers market. Wasn't very many vendors. Maybe due to the weather still being a little chilly. Seemed to be a lot of parking nearby. Luckily we love close enough to walk. Most vendors were friendly and said hello. Loved that you could turn you ebt or card into tokens to use for almost all vendors.

Love the St. Paul Farmers Market. They have everything from vegetables, fruits, flowers, breads, spices, honey, lemonade and misc vendors. There's and hourly raffle for gift baskets, coffee and donuts. Parking isn't the best ($5/hr lot nearby) but it's worth going. Located near CHS field.

The market itself is a personal favorite. What's frustrating is the inability of people to follow rules that are in place to reduce the spread of Covid-19.

There are arrows painted on the ground and signs everywhere directing people traffic to flow one way and reinforcing that masks are required. The information booth even offered free masks.

Unfortunately, we still saw several people without masks and a complete lack of attention to the one-way signage and 6-foot distancing signage. It's impossible to maintain six feet of distance when people are walking right at you in the wrong direction.

This should not be that hard, people.

St Paul winter farmer's market has a good variety of products to choose from. Since one of the basic tenets of the market is local grown the selection of products is limited. Products include value added products like breads, pierogies, sauces, candy, coffee, and fruit spreads. In addition there is a great selection of meats and animal products like honey. cheeses and eggs. The hardy vendors are outdoor at the main market sight and several are indoors at the Market House Collanorative. There is free parking on the market sight. In all, it is worth the trip to get some great food and support the local economy.
