Wonderful island that only privileged people can enjoy. With all services (supermarket, pharmacy, cafeteria, bae ...) and amenities. A luxury to go by boat with the car back and forth and that on arrival you put your chair with your towel personally. Thanks to those who invited me, I hope to return.

Fisher Island, FL: The general manager is from Hamburg, Germany, and has been running Fisher Island impeccably for the last half-decade. It seems like this paradise has no problems, beautiful people, private and secluded, with beautiful beaches. Day rate rooms with a resort fee are available, otherwise this is an equity Island.

Would have been great except for the Spanish speaking idiots that's was loading the vehicle's on the barge, not sure how they get there jobs because at that point where you need professional and courteous individuals to greet and assist residents and guests are lacking really bad but to be expected from a third world city !!!! I often wondered how those individuals they got their jobs.

An exclusive luxury community. The island is only accessible by ferry and exclusive to residences of the island and their guest. The island has a private club and restaurant. Because of its small size, most residence travel the within the island by golf cart. Great sunrise and sunset can be seen from the island. The ferry commute is only 10 minute each way between island and mainland. This was the highlight of my Miami trip.

The hotel by which all others are measured by. Service is second to none... not even close. Only reason not to choose this hotel is location... not much around if you like to walk. Hipper places, better locations, but never find better service or a cleaner room. This is still my fave.

I can't say enough good things about this place. It's cozy, the rooms are big, there's an assortment of fruits and food in the rooms, and the fact that you can get around by driving a golf caddy is my absolute favourite. The personell is very friendly, they actually remember your name, and they're very helpful if you have questions or concerns. The price per night/person is very high, obviously, but normally, people who book a room there don't really have to worry about that from what I've read. Oh, did I mention the jacuzzi that's in the back yard of the room? It's something I'd like to see in every single hotel I go to, but then again, those don't cost as much. Sitting in there at night was definitely one of the more memorable experiences for me, and I can only recommend it. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this hotel if you have the necessary change burning a hole into your pocket. I hope I'll get a second chance to go there again.

Had to go here on business.

Very professional operation.

All the people I interacted with - at every level - were kind. Being that you go from Miami Beach (an island) to another island Fisher Island by ferry, you come into contact with a lot of staff.

Security was seamless, deckhands professional, arrival impeccable and seemingly impossibly knowing who this guy is and where he needs to go. Kudos to the support team.

At the Beach Club, enjoy breath-taking views, sugar-white sand imported from the Bahamas, and glistening waters. Shade yourself under our airy and elegant white seaside pavilions along this scenic stretch of private, uncrowded beach.

The Vanderbilt Mansion Pool is filled with salt water and is a comfortable temperature year-round. The pool atmosphere is relaxing and the collection of yachts at the marina makes for an interesting backdrop. Raise a service flag at the beach or pool, and our consummate staff will fetch your favorite cocktail or an ice-cold towel.

Sunset over Biscayne Bay heralds in a special time of day where members and guests can be found gathering at the Beach Club s outdoor Sunset Bar for pre-dinner cocktails, tropical breezes and a view of Miami s iconic skyline.
