Large pleasant site. Well laid out, good sized pitches, excellent new facility block in the Willows area. The site is very popular with families in the holidays and weekends so do book in advance. Great access to the near by A1, good for a stop over and for a long stay too.

Good site, flat pitches, clean modern facilities. Big play area and huge field for playing football, rounders etc. Only downside was our pitch was near the road and the cement works across the road are very noisy all day from early morning. Pitches are allocated, my advice would be to request a pitch further into the park.
Great location for exploring.

just got back from 4 night stay lovely site well spread out
not on top of each other
was a really well run site
just feel that more toilets further down field would be very good especially if expanding the camping fields .

Spent last week at South Meadows and must have been near to Samantha at The Willows. A lovely site, toilets spotless and everything well maintained. Lovely walks for the dog and all in all, quite delightful.
Seahouses and Bamburgh and beaches just a short drive away. Berwick on Tweed 15 miles up the A1 and Alnwick 15 miles down the A1 where we have family.
Definitely one of our favourite sites and will certainly be returning.

Very nice campsite, campsite pristine facilities very modern and clean perfect for coastal walks buses right on doorstep, dog walking field and woods were great for the dogs. Co op and pubs 10min walk. Only downside the weekends were very busy with early drinkers and kids running round very late, during the week like a different place. There was No fridge and freezer available but reception did freeze our freezer blocks and charge our phones but only available 9-5,recycling could be pushed a bit more only bins were at the back of reception, passed about 6 general rubbish bins to get to reception. Overall nice site stayed 8 days plenty to do in that time.

Lovely site, well placed to visit local tourist attractions and close to local pubs. Lovely shower block but disappointingly short timer button and lights on a timer which went out whilst I was getting dressed. I had to come.out of the showers, wet and half dressed almost to the entrance before they came on again. Very dangerous as shower floor was very slippy and poorly lit. An accident waiting to happen..Shame.

We had a week on the site a couple of weeks ago . It's very easy to find from the A1 and is signposted and well placed for exploring the area. On arrival there is no apparent allocated space to leave your car and caravan while you book in at reception . We had had a phone call the previous day from the site to say the pitch was churned up but assured it was still ok to put our van plus awning on . On arrival ' the well drained site ' was extremely wet and after a couple of rain showers , was water logged with water rising up over the tops of your shoes when walking about. The mud was very smelly mud too . There is no shop on site but a cafe and farm shop next door , and a coop store in the town of Belford which is only a 10 minute walk away .
I do feel the website should mention the concrete works that is opposite the caravan park on the same lane. It starts work between 630-7 am every morning and is extremely noisy , with lorries driving up and down to the works all day .
Pleasant enough site but probably won't return

Stayed 8 nights at South Meadows caravan site, superb, exceptionally clean and well maintained site. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful.Access to the site is so simple and well laid out access roads around the site to the pitches makes for easy pitching of your caravan. Facilities spotless and always clean, even on days when the weather was wet. Location if South Meadows an absolute joy when site seeing as it is perfectly placed to visit all the touristy places ranging from Bamburgh castle to the Holy Island. My final tip and if like us this was our first visit to Northumberland , stay at this site and use thee local information data found on thee sites web site, its a good guide in deciding how best to see the area.

South Meadows is one of our favourite sites. It is immaculately kept and very well laid out with spacious plots and lots of trees and shrubs. Facilities are always spotless and staff are friendly and helpful. There is a well equipped children's play park and huge grassed area for them to let off steam. The location just off the A1 makes it easily accessible for caravanners and also an ideal base for exploring all the attractions of Northumberland and the Border region. Spectacular Budle Bay (great for birdwatching), Lindisfarne and the fabulous beaches of Bamburgh are just a short drive away. It is a pleasant stroll into the village of Belford for pubs, restaurants and a supermarket and there is a wonderful farm shop right next door. We have recommended this site to many friends and they have all been equally impressed.

Lovely clean and well kept park with a great play park but very noisy during the week when we were there. The noise was coming from the working farm across the road. From 7:00am you get tracktors scraping along the ground for hours at a time. Camping pitches were big but too expensive compared with other sites that have more facilities. 6 man tents have to pay more than a 4 man even though you are in the same size pitch and there was only 4 of us?! Park could do with some lights over at the touring side as it's very dark at night.

Brilliant campsite . facilities excellent looked at some of the other local sites while we where there and because of the rain they where very muddy but with good design mud is kept to a min in rainy weather. only one very small down side for us older campers its a bit of a walk to the toilet in the night. Childrens park was great for children of all ages my grandaughter loved it and the whole park was very safe clean with a nice atmosphere.

I love this area, the North East coast is beautiful, the locals are very friendly. Peace was short lived with weekend visitors letting their dogs and children run amok, but otherwise a very nice site.

Great site. Shower area could if done with being warm as when you got out the shower you felt cold. Handy for bus to bamburgh. Village had dog friendly pubs, great fish shop and farm shop next to site. Would stay again.

Just spent 3 nights at this site and would definitely recommend it. The site is beautifully kept with lovely gardens and grass. There is plenty of room between pitches and the shower and toilet block was immaculate. The staff are friendly and helpful. Buses run regularly if you want to visit Berwick or nearby beauty spots.

Great place to visit. Used as a base go and explore .I'll promise you wouldn't be disappointed . The site alone is excellent and not too far from Belford itself with good transport links if you time things right.

This is a great site and we have visited in our touring caravan several times. It is very well maintained and all the facilities including the toilets are modern and spotless. What raises this site above all the others is the clear focus on the environment such as the woodland area, orchard and all the electricity from 100% renewable sources. Also, what other caravan site has Red Squirrels on-site!

We have our Static caravan on this site and it really is so quiet and peaceful. Everything is well looked after and kept clean. Just outside the lovely village of Belford and close to the brilliant beaches of Beadnell and Bamburgh. We and our dogs love it.

Cracking site, new loo blocks very nice ,missus thinks there should be more shower cubicles though. The site is clean and very well presented . Great woodland walk for the dog at the rear of site with a stream the dog loved it. The site is close to bamburgh 10min drive as is St cuthberts cave . The A1 is just around the corner no noise but gives you access up and down the coast. Holy island is 20 mins up the road. Plenty to do. Back to the loos they are kept spotless yes they get messy during the morning Armageddon but are cleaned to perfection. We will be coming here again.
