Hands down my favorite coffee shop in DC. Everything about the place is unique and original. The owner Sami makes the best chicken salad in the District, as well as these amazing home cooked soups that range from vegan minestrone, to potato bisque, to chicken noodle. The coffee and tea is also fantastic. My personal favorite is the soho mocha with blackberry and expresso. It is the perfect study spot with wifi, outlets, numerous tables, and the occasional study beer if you need to give your brain a rest. Definitely check it out!

Nice coffee shop really has that 90s coffee shop feel it's usually busy. Nice patio good view of the city life traffic, intersection (city vibe) usual coffee fare. Nice place to relax and do work. Very casual and down to earth. They do serve some sandwiches as well breakfast and cold sandwiches

The staff is extremely friendly! Maybe not the best coffee, but the service makes up for it 1000 times over. Large space, very bright, unisex bathroom, atm. But again, the staff made my experience here amazing. Even if they thought I was a doppelganger.

This is my fav neighborhood cafe. They have the best variety of tea and coffee in Dupont area. Also great choice of smoothies (all made in place with organic ingredients) . It s a family business and you can feel how much love and care they put in every single detail and customer service. You can find delicious fresh homemade desserts everyday here ( no need to wait for Sunday Farmers market ). My personal favorite is Mocha Chill cold beverage - couldn t find anything better during DC humid summers. I wish this was a chain.

Today had dinner here with my friend. We both got soup with chicken and ham melt. Both the melt and the soup were so delicious, we ordered another one to take home. Very friendly and attentive staff

The place inside is cute and all but under any circumstance do not get a smoothie here. No fruits or berries go in it, just syrup.
The tea was also so-so. The tables outside somehow have millions of hungry mosquitoes just waiting for your blood.

So not enough I could say about this spot. We were in DC for 4 days. Went to tons of restaurants, but ended up going 3 mornings in a row to this gem for breakfast. The owner takes pride in his food, ingredients, and cooking skills. The food is reasonably priced and the coffee is excellent. I would for sure be back.

The warm greetings from the baristas are perhaps just as needed as the extra shot of caffeine for early morning coffee-getters.

The set-aside board games make one wonder how much fun this place must have been in the glorious pre-covid days ... stay healthy yall!

They don t want your money A five-dollar minimum for credit card purchases gets a one-star rating every time. As a business owner, anyone s money is sufficient for any good/service I have to offer. Payment in cash, check or card. Merchants who punish their customers because they dislike bank policies and service charges for credit cards are arrogant and short-sighted And Google can find me countless places willing to charge me $4 for an espresso and take my F ing credit card. All coffee drinks are served in a to-go cup. Just say in

The best cafe in DC. Very clean and cozy! The staff is always friendly and attentive. Everything I tried here was great: coffee, tea, pastries, smoothies and food. They updated their internet, you get the fastest wifi possible, which is great for people like me who come here to work. I see nice changes every time I come to Soho. I was told that is because of the new ownership. Will be back soon!

Cozy cafe with great breakfast. We had an omelet, croissant sandwich and lox bagel. everything was fresh and delicious. The coffee is the best so far we tried in DC.
We ve read about homemade pastries and good that we tried some. Banana bread and Blueberry ricotta cake were just incredibly tasty. Will be back next time in the area.

A no frills kind of place with good service. Lots of tables & seating, so a good place to work remotely. The baked goods were delicious, but I wouldn't get the white hot chocolate again (it was toothache-level sweet).

This is by far the best Cafe in all of DC and my favorite place to spend an afternoon playing games, catching up with friends and enjoying the delicious selections of teas and treats. Soho is the epitome of local were every time I walk in, I am treated like family and not just another customer. The owners and staff are what makes the experience at so Soho truly enjoyable and is the primary reason I keep going back.

I'm road tripping around the country ... Side project, sample "the best coffee houses" (according to Google reviews and articles) as I pass through and order a doppio espresso and cappuccino. From Montana to Florida (this very moment) ... After 40+ coffee shops, Soho (and one other in ND) has the very best espresso! Absolutely fantastic ... excellent color, perfect taste, great texture ... enough so that I ordered a second and third, and then came back for the next two days. It set a high precedent early in my trip, and I've been struggling with inconsistent and sour shots since. Miss that espresso! Keep doing what you're doing. And thanks for the highly caffeinated moment :)

The coffee is great and so is the space inside the coffee shop with a considerable amount of tables. The main things I dislike about the coffee shop are the extremely rude staff and their very odd and inconsistent pricing. On one occasion an older gentleman tries to go to the restroom but goes through the wrong door. The apparently very peeved female cashier proceeds to yell at him because he went through the wrong door. There was no reason to yell at the man and found it extremely rude for such a small oversight. On another occasion I ordered a frozen mocha and they charged me $5.60. I then later returned and purchased another mocha and was charged $4.30. I didn't have cash and there is a $5 minimum for cards so I asked if it was the same drink due to the difference in pricing. The female cashier then spoke to her manager and she came back and charged me $5.60. I don't understand how they make up their pricing but it certainly did not seem right. My friend also told me they charge a "service fee" which he nor I have ever heard of any coffee shop charging.

3 adults and 2 children went for breakfast on a weekday. We really enjoyed their ham and cheese croissants and omelettes. The service was fantastic and we will definitely come back if we're in the area. Great iced coffee too!

I didn't have time to test the wifi but the coffee was the best! I had the White Mocha and loved it. I also had a sandwich but I enjoyed the coffee way more than the food. I will be going back soon regardless. The staff was really nice.

Cozy, colorful cafe with great variety of loose tea and fresh pastries made in premises. We've got still warm brownies and peanut butter sandwich cookies, the best I've ever had in my life. Would definitely recommend this spot and can't wait to come back. Thank you!

Hands down, one of my favorite places to work in the entire DMV area. I work remotely, so it is important for me to find an inviting environment where I feel like I can get work done and stay focused. Friendly staff, delicious coffee and the best vegan zucchini bread ever! Oh -- and Liana is awesome!

Nice selection of loose leaf teas and a very friendly staff made this an excellent place to relax with a hot drink. The owner was gregarious and ebullient, impossible to dislike. The artwork is charming and perfect for the setting.
