Amazing food. Love coming her for breakfast, lunch or a snack. Everything is delicious!
I've been a regular at Sofra for over two years now. I love love love their breakfast options. The mezes for lunch are usually pretty good. I really love the cheese borek from catering and the soups.
The bathroom does not have a baby changing station, which is a disappoinment, but they do have these great fold out high chairs. My 4mo loved them.
Seating and parking is limited, but it's worth it.
Amazing place! Try the Turkish breakfast! Every item is one of a kind here!
The coffee and the food is very good. It is filled on weekends and in the morning. Abundant Turkish style food.
I honestly enjoy the dishes and customer service, awesome area right next to my house. The cashiers are always super friendly. Highly recommended.
Yummy. The place was packed but we got parking and seat at the window. Enjoy.
Great choice of food, we had the abricot tarte and the lamb flat bread and enjoyed both. The staff is really kind even though the place is so busy all the time.
This place is amazing! Well worth the wait. Their Turkish coffee and OMG the pastries were delicious
Everything here is just so good. My go to place if I need a little pick me up. Perfect coffee. Love their pita bread.
Traditional, delicious middle eastern cafe. Great breakfast and lunch. Good for take out too.
Excellent for a breakfast or a lunch. I highly recommend the orange blossom lemonade
Tried breakfast here. Absolutely tasteless.. I ordered the shakshuka and we tried the egg sandwich, honestly seven 11 makes tastier sandwiches.
This Turkish bakery frequently has a line out the door, and for good reason! Their baked goods are delicious and the breakfast is delectable. I love the cheese borek and Sofra has the BEST chai that I've ever tasted. The line moves quickly and they've been known to give out samples of the Persian donut as a thank you for waiting on the weekends.
After a draining day of eating hallucinogens and wandering through the cemetery, eating here was truly splendiferous.
Cute tiny middle eastern bakery. Can get crazy packed on weekends. So a pick-up was our only option. The food looked absolutely delicious. They were offering Persian spice donut bites which were awesome. We ordered sujuk pancakes which definitely offered a new experience to our taste buds but felt a bit too much on mine. Great thyme pie and egg halloumi sandwich which was on the smaller side. Their chocolate croissant was also delicious. I will surely go back on a less busy day because of all the tempting items they offer. I would recommend sharing, though, to maximize one's experience. Some items may end up being less enjoyable than others. But they're worth the adventure.
Delicious and unique eats! Absolutely in love with their shakshuka!
This is one of my favorite cafes, I come here often.
There are so many tasty dishes: flat breads, mezzos, soups , desserts, and drinks. Along with an entire wall filled with high quality herbs, spices and condiments from the Middle East.
I go on weekends because it is crowded. I always end up striking up an interesting conversation with someone next to me.
If I lived close by I would go here every week. Their hot food is incredible and their mezzo is delicious.
Fantastic food. Crowded but worth the wait. The red dragon drink was amazing.
Very good coffee! There's a variety of Turkish breakfast options such as shakshuka, as well as many types of pitas, flatbreads, unique pastries, and desserts. The pastries are well constructed and tasty. They also have jams, sweets, spices, More
Sofra is one of my favorite places in Boston. The morning buns are to die for. There's often a line and no room to sit, so it's best to take your food to go. I also love the tumeric lattes.
We had a plate of 5 appetizers or mesa. And 4 shawrama chicken sandwhices. It coated 62 dollars which was very overpriced and we thought it would be great if it cost that much. It was probably the crapiest shawrama I had coming from a Syrian background. So bad that it came in small portions and there was something not right with the taste. It was the wrong ingredients. All in All, its the worst AMERICAN middle eastern bakery I have been too. Don't go!!
When we come to Cambridge , a visit to sofra is always on our agenda. We love it!
It's always a bit cramped but the food makes it worth it
Cute little corner cafe! Really good coffee and bakeries! Make sure to visit the beautiful & serene Mt Auburn Cemetery as well.
An eclectic, diverse and robust Middle Eastern menu option.
First time in today.. and I will vow that it will not be my last!! This place is amazing and opens up the palate to Turkish style dining. The prices are a steal. I can't wait to try EVERYTHING on the menu and to share with all my other foodie mates.
Good Turkish coffee. Pastries are kinda pricy, spanikopita wasn't that great
Incredible traditional Greek cafe with an attached wine shop
Great food. Crowded on a rainy lunch, but friendly and cozy.
Great food and very original! The service is quick and friendly. However the place is very small and it is difficult to find a good seating.
A five star Middle East restaurant, which preserved an awesome building, with an unbearably pretentious clientele. Well done, league of hipster Cantabrigians; you've successfully excluded me!
Food and pastry is phenomenal. BUT buying just a premade anything to go takes at least 20 minutes to be put in a bag and handed to you. This should definitely be improved and would end up creating more space for customers who stay sitting at the cafe. I'd go much more often if I knew I didnt have to spend such a long time picking up pastry to go!
Delicious Mediterranean bakery. I really like the concept of getting scoops. I love the whipped feta and the baba ganoush
Got to try their cold meze platter. You'll want to move in.
Amazing salep...so tasty. Really tasty food! I would give 5 stars but the place always feels very cramped and very rushed to finish, which is such a shame! We were in the other day and had literally just finished eating, it was extremely busy and another customer came over to our table and basically asked us to leave in a roundabout way...was very rude but still the food was great! We had the Turkish grits and a couple of other things to share...very tasty! Nice deli items on sale to go also. We had the seasonal labneh at Thanksgiving....literally mouthwatering...wish they sold it all the time!
Very friendly and the food is superb. Great flavors.
Amazing, every time. When you get the bill, remember that you get what you pay for... it does come at a cost but it's worth it.
Eat Shakshuka (poached eggs in tomato-curry sauce) and you will understand why we love Sofra so much. Also Turkish coffee. Also pastries with pistachio. If the sunny indoor space is crowded, move to the sunny outdoor seats! This is a gem.
Tasty Turkish and Mediterranean inspired savory dishes and sweets. Cozy atmosphere. Great chef.
A bit expensive but the quality is amazing. Their teas and pastries alone are worth a visit.
This is my favorite place to come when I go home! Get the meze platter and be sure to try to beet tzatziki!
Highly overrated place, as i discovered. Cold falafel on cold pita bread not even grilled, and the bread was not tasty at all....(Moody's Falafel of Central Square, I miss you! ! U were the real deal! )
