Seven Bridges Grille & Brewery Review

Pretty solid local eats and in house beer. Great burgers, great apps, and I'm a huge fan of their cajun fish tacos. The only thing that takes a star off for me is their blackened salmon, which is my favorite way to consume salmon, was pretty over salted. On the flip side, their service is always good.

First time we visited this restaurant food was good and customer service was excellent, second time my steak was could and customer service was regular, we'll never comeback.

Iceberg lettuce in the Chicken Waldorf Salad is really lame!

Do not eat at this place for lunch. My coworkers and I sat down at 12:05 pm. Our drink order was taken 30 minutes later. We had to go find a waitress so we could order food at 12:45 p.m. we explained that we had to go back to work and our food needed to be to go. She voiced understanding, but her actions were the opposite. I ended up leaving at 1:10 p.m., went to chick fil a, ate it, then a coworkers who stayed brought me my food at 2:00 p.m. no apology, excuse, or discount was given. We will never eat there again!

Not that impressed. At least not with the service. We started off with a 20 min wait that we chose to wait out at the bar. Not that we are complainithat it took 30 min to be seated, bit in that 30 min, the bartender got us ONE order.

Our buzzer went off to have us go to our seat literally 20 seconds after we made our second order of drinks. I chose to wait for the drinks and cash out while my second went to wait at the table. 10 min later the bartender came back to tell me there was no more sangria mix.

When I sat, the waitress just then had dropped off the two waters that were ordered and I was told she had only came by once in that whole time.

I ordered a medium Burger and she ordered shrimp and grits. My medium Burger was charred and cooked well over well done. Now I sit here typing this over 10 min after I had them take it back to make another, and my other already has her leftovers in a box almost cold.

Absolutely ridiculous.

We had a large reservation here. Arrived to find a sign on the door saying they were unexpectedly closed. I understand unforseen things can happen, but there's no reason to not notify people with reservations that they will have to cancel. Unsat.

Come for the food. It's good. Had Fireman burger. 3/4 pound weak on heat but cooked perfectly (medium rare). Pretty crowded. Word obviously is out. Beer doesn't have much flavor, but I expected that once I found out it was a brewery chain like Rock Bottom and Gordon Biersch. Same beer in all these places.

Decent food. Service was agreeable, but perfunctory. Half & half tea too sweet; medium rare burgers too well done. Seemed like the same menu all day. In other words, not any cheaper at lunch and no lunch specials. Still, food was tasty, and burger was a new variety for me. Tasty, just not made as requested.

Comfy and nicely lit. Great place for accommodating small groups or just for couples, anytime. Food is delicious and an awesome staff as well!

I usually visit about twice a week. I am a travel agent and refer clients to this establishment that stay in the hotels nearby but after last nights experience I will never recommend this place ever ever ever sgain. My burger was so cold that the cheese would not melt. When I asked them to hest it up the cook hammed his finger inti the meat it then was placed ontback the grill & served to me by the manager. This was the first time that I have ever returned anything. After several complaints from my clients about their experience here. I for the first time experienced the rudest and nastiest people in my life. I courteously paid for my demolished burger with the finger digs in it and politely Thanked the waitress. The burger will be handed over to the health inspector & I will never ever ever recommend another person to this restaurant.

Their brews are great. Had a flight for 4 bucks with 6 of their beers. The hefeweisen and brown ale were my favorite. Their gauc had a bit too much garlic, even though I liked the little kick it had. I ordered the bourbonzola burger and let me tell you-that ish was fire. Highly recommend. The sauce they paired with it was perfect, and the beer battered onion rings are absolutely worth the side substitution.

Great service and great selection of local brews! The food was delicious.

Friendly wait staff. Not overly trendy, and not overly blue collar. The brewmaster here has the touch. The Brown Ale on nitrogen is the best in town. Fish and chips are consistently excellent.

I come here frequently, and usually it's a great experience. The beer is pretty good, the food is excellent. The servers are terrific, but the hostesses leave a bit to be desired. I am glad they brought back the stuffed peppers, those are worth a star on their own.

Pretzel chicken was good, pretzel appetizer was very disappointing. Good service and not too loud in spite of there being a football game on.

Food excellent, service good. Some foods are spicy, read well or ask. Been here several times, will be back.

Good selection of drinks - food is typical pub food.

Seven Bridges grille & brewery is one of my favorite restaurants in the Jacksonville area.their appetizers are so good that I sometimes just go in there to order those and order several of them for the table. The atmosphere is family friendly and casual. The wait staff are very nice and professional. Their selection of beers is great, belly full of cheer is a personal favorite. Seven Bridges also offers a full liquor menu as well. The restaurant is conveniently located close to St Johns Town Center and walking distance to Tinseltown movie theater. Seven Bridges also has a great outdoor seating area and social bar atmosphere. The restaurant has been around for many years because they do business right. If you haven't done so yet go check them out.

Great for salads and burgers. Had the blackened Mahi sandwich platter comes with Chipotle mayonnaise Mahi was very tender and juicy comes with fries. Excellent choice. Don't forget to try their micro brewed beers plenty of choices to choose from.

Definitely a locals place, good food and drafts.
Mac & cheese with Brats was Great!

This is a great place to have a gathering because they have a menu with something for everyone. I had the lobster enchiladas. They were delicious with just the right amount of bite. Some in our group had salads and were all pleased. Service was good especially for a group. I ate at Seven Bridges because it was close to my hotel. I ordered steak that was just ok. They brew a good beer. I also liked cheese grits. It was really good. For desert I got carrot cake that was good, but the size of the piece could be shared for more than 2 people. Let's put it this way. I will go at this place only if I absolutely have to. Drinks were refilled.

The atmosphere is comfortable. The wait staff are good, they provide enough attention to make the customer feel welcome, but not too much to be a distraction. The food is tasty, the Makers Mark burbon burger is delicious. The hard drinks are decent. I would eat there again.

Don't go with high expectations and you will be fine. The food is okay. The service could be better. Location is good, which helps their score.

Took my dad from NY...service was just barely ok, all 3 menus were filthy and sticky

Had a nice quiet dinner here on Sunday night. Tasty meals and great service

Drinks were good here and food was pretty decent too. Got sat down immediately but it took a good while before we caught the attention of a waitress. She was apologetic and super friendly, an absolutely dear. I'm sure it was a one off occurence and would like to visit again when I come back in town.

Was here for a professional event. Service was very welcoming and attentive. The place is crowded and gets loud but has a great atmosphere. Food and drinks were delicious.

Very disappointed in the experience. Waitress Angela was awesome but the $24 steak I purchased was over done, when I ordered it med rare. As well as they says it was 10oz was really about 5oz but the sorry excuse of a cook told us that when it cooks it turns really small . At this point me and my wife waited over 20 mins and still I had no remade steak. My wife was done eating and finally I said for them to forget about. Well will NEVER return!

Slow service but good food. Clean restrooms are a plus.

I made a reservation on open table. Was seated quickly. My dad and my husband love the beer made in house. My step mom and I enjoyed signature cocktails which were delicious. The food I ordered was a little spicy for me but my family enjoyed their meals and the appetizer. I would have given five stars but the poor fish in the aquarium where not doing so well. There was a dead fish in the tank (obviously was dead for a long time) the filtration system was in extremely poor condition. Don't have an aquarium if you can't take care of it. My evening was going so well at your restaurant until I saw this.

A little too darkly lit. Tacos were good but they didn't blow my mind. There wheat beer was excellent.

Decent food, wait staff has been very good every time i have been. Prices are ok, decor is typical of trendy restaurant. A little loud in the bar area, but not annoyingly so.

Very disappointed in our meal and the service was horrible. Chicken wings were the smallest wings I have ever seen and they charge $12 for 6 wings. First bite of French dip was a ball of fat.

The staff and food were excellent! I hosted a small work dinner last night and we all felt very taken care of by Taylor. The manager smoothed out a couple of glitches with exceptional care-I felt like my business mattered. We will definitely be back!! Thanks for an amazing night!!

My first time there and I was surprised to learn that it's been there for 20 years I felt ashamed. Lively area with a great happy hour, pool table, a great place for the workers in the area to experience happy hour. Interesting menu with some unique offerings. Will definitely require another visit

Great beers and disk golf baskets outside. Great bar type food but a little more upscale.

Always fun. Service this time wasn't up to their usuall standard but that is only one time out of 20.

Pretty lackluster. The menus were dirty on the inside and outside. I got the fireman burger with fries ; and although it looks(looked) good, the burger was super dry and flavorless. The fries were good.

Trying out a new restaurant. They brew their own beer and this the only one. Started with the English Joe. This is a traditional English Brown ale. Great color of red brown with slight malty nose. Taste has a touch of roasted malt with a finish of hops, not over powering. For dinner I got the Meatloaf, nice portion for the price. The waitress said to switch the mushroom sauce for the country gravy, Great Call. Meatloaf was well prepared with a topping of fried onion rings and a side of mashed potatos. The potatos needed some help. Overall great decor, great service and wide variety on the menu. They have a couple pool tables. The night I was there, they were having a cornhole tournament outside in the parking lot.

Neat place with a great selection of bar/pub style food. The beer is made in house and the little bit I tried was solid.

Our waitress was great and engaging. She was always checking on us and had a great sense of humor.

I would definitely go back and visit again if I am ever visiting again.

One of our favorite restaurants in Jacksonville. Terrific food, great service, comfortable atmosphere and in-house brews. Our tradition is to visit after a day at the Player's Championship every year. But any time is a great time to go there. Close to a movie theater and local shopping. Recommended.

Not a huge variety of beer but the toasted Porter was quite good. Mac and cheese was delicious.

Delicious food, great beer, awesome environment and most importantly, a fantastic staff that sincerely wants you to have a great time.

Nice atmosphere, food is good. I actually come here specifically for their jalapeno ranch dressing. You have to try it.

A true test of how a restaurant really is is when something goes wrong and how they handle it. We went to Seven Bridges today and our food was very good but we made a few specific requests to the kitchen. We're not met when our food was delivered. The waitress was very helpful and we had a manager come over and address our concerns immediately. I would highly recommend this restaurant because everybody can serve food but great customer service with good food is not easy to find. Thank you very much Seven Bridges for handling us and we will definitely be back. I recommend the Waldorf salad

Been here several times and always happy with experience. A little disappointed today as I checked the online menu and saw they had an Italian Pizza however when I arrived I was told this item had been discontinued a couple months. I did get the pepperoni pizza which was quite good but not what I really wanted. I hope they will consider bringing back the Italian style again.

We had dinner there for the first time Saturday night, party of ten. When the food came out, three of the orders were not correct. My Daughter's food never came out. 35 Minutes later, a Manager told us they were training new waitresses. An hour after everybody had finished their dinner my Daughter's food came out. The Manager never offered to compensate us for the huge mistake in any way and ended up paying full price for an average dinner and way below average service. Never again!

Excellent food. Recommend the Southwest Chicken Salad. Grilled or fried. Also cherry coke is preferred option...they make it with grenadine at the bar.

We've eaten here twice. Both times the service was good, food was really good, and atmosphere was nice. (The chicken wings are really good, and I'm picky about wings.) My only (small) complaint would be the live music was a little loud. We couldn't talk until the music stopped.

Service was great, relaxing atmosphere, I had the Texas fire ribeye and I hated that it had to end...

Seven Bridges has to be one of the best restaurants in Jacksonville. Their Shrimp & Grits cannot be matched with any other restaurant in Jacksonville and St. Augustine.

Good food, mediocre service, pool tables need help and the bathroom was kinda flooded.
