Best day with my favorite son!
We really enjoyed the NOMA and the Park.
The seagulls in particular are amazing!
Save your bread to feed to the seagulls. They almost eat right out of your hand.

Large beautiful area with plenty of recreation space!
Such a beautiful place with lots to do. The art museum and botanical garden are top notch.
Awesome place to spend time with the family. Play area for the kids, bike and paddle boat rentals, art museum, putt putt golf, storyland, botanical gardens and a sculpture garden are a few things that the park provides. Always a pleasure to visit!
great place to take your children to wear off their energy
A great urban park. Many playgrounds, museum with sculpture garden, amusement park, mini golf, botanical garden, canoeing and more. We go every week. The ancient oaks are magical and fun to climb.
Great place to relax and enjoy family time. I love visiting this park.
Beautiful open space with lots of lakes and just a trolley ride away from Canal street
Always something going on for the family. Absolutely beautiful park with biking, museums, fishing, putt putt and more.
New Orleans City Park is a great place to visit. There are many walking or biling trails. There are areas for fishing and even camping. They have great places for entertainment, i.e. Museum of Art, now the new Children's Museum, Storyland which is being renovated, Minature Golf, and the opening of Cafe' Du Monde. If you want to just sit, there are great places to picnic or chill! Spend some time in a great place, New Orleans City Park!
A park you can enjoy with both family and friends. A great place for kids 3 to 12 because of StoryLand (children's amusement park) and Christmas in the Oaks. If you like long walks with no distractions, this IS the park for you !
The Botanical Garden is an Instagrammer's dream! The gardens are pristine and the statues are picturesque. I just wish the Japanese garden was larger because it was very serene inside.
My sister and I came upon some bench swings, so we found an unoccupied one and relaxed. I was on crutches, so I definitely needed the rest. The swinging motion was calming, especially when the breeze picked up. We could've stayed there until the garden closed.
The grounds aren't expansive, but there's a lot to see. You probably need to allot 2.5-3 hours if you're really into gardens.
Entrance to the Botanical Garden also includes entrance to Story Land. My sister and I weren't interested, so we didn't go.
One of my favorite places to be, very peaceful place, lots of nice scenery with the old oak trees and water, very spacious perfect for kids, the new section of the sculpture garden and also the children s museum is a nice addition to the park.don t forget to get you some coffee and beignets after your long walk/run/cycling.
City Park is always fun for the whole family. The fairy tail park is so much fun for the little kids. They have so many cute little nursery rhyme character things throughout the park that are very fun for the kids to run around climb and play on. They open it for people to walk through during Christmas in the Oaks as well. The atmosphere is fun for the whole family.
Glad this was one of my last stops on my way back to Iowa. Little amusement park as well. Gr8 place to get away to.
Sculpture garden and botanical garden are very nice.
The Park was absolutely beautiful. Lights everywhere. The children and I had a wonderful time there.
City park is really cool for your kids. I dont like the fact we spent $65 on food to eat lunch there but my kids had a blast.
Beautiful and relaxing. I love seeing all the ducks and geese. Nice and shady for a summer walk.
Veiws from the Shade Tree......peaceful Awesomeness!+!!!
Beautiful park. Make sure to visit the New Orleans Museum of Art sculpture garden (admission is free).
A must-see when you are in New Orleans!
The Oaks are Mighty and beautiful. Be sure to walk around and check out all the trees. They are just gorgeous! The best part is that it has a short drive from the French Quarter.
My favorite place to go on walks or jogs, safe after hours as well, the chime tree is meditative place to ponder.
Beautiful old trees, well kept lawns, play parks for the children, and a nice cafe for beignets. We stopped here the morning after an evening in New Orleans on our road trip.
Modern art is not always easy to understand and percept
Beautiful park with ample space for picnics, RC car races, volleyball, pick-up soccer, sunrise yoga in summer - you name it, you can do it. Sunsets over the lake are particularly beautiful. If you've got a few hours to kill and the weather is nice, head there. It's a very different side of NOLA.
A beautiful park with easy too many offerings. Something for everyone there. We were playing with or remote control cars there!
Beautiful and peaceful place to bring a picnic and friends, or hammock and book, for some sun and nature, or a snowball
Really beautiful park. Loved the giant oak trees with the Spanish Moss. Tons of photo opportunities.
Beautiful park. Great place to walk the dog or just go for a leisurely stroll.
I really love this place you can pretty much do anything
For families visiting New Orleans it is well worth the trip to discover this great park.
A must place to visit. Pure southern Louisiana landscape with paths and bike trails that go for miles. Gorgeous. Also home to the New Orleans Museum of Art. Free on Wednesday

Love the beignets! Great sitting Outdoors, city park is beautiful
My daughter, two of my grandsons and I went to Big Lake to walk and ride bikes. The day was beautiful. There's some construction going on in the park, but there are still many areas that are accessible.
The best park we've ever been to. Great place to bring kids and adults.
Beautiful park. Lots of space and trees. Walking track is picturesque.
The Story Land and gardens are beautiful as usual, and some improvements. The train ride lights were skimpy but nice.
Everything, just like to ride around and see it all
Beautiful and had a lot of things to do. Check out the sculpture garden, it's free!
I love city park its very beautiful and eases my mind.
Awesome park very lovely!. Botanical gardens and gorgeous trails plus Art museum and sculpture gardens. Wanted to go in Storybook land and ride the train but got vetoed by family.
Anything at City Park is always better than expected.
Walking, swinging in front of the Botanical Garden and the late hours Beignets....Love our Park!
The city park is nice because of a rainstorm we had to leave we didn't get to see everything the kids zone Park is really a good place if you have young children the botanical gardens were really nice they didn't get a chance to ride the Merry-Go-Round because of the storm
This is a place I grew up around this will always remind where I come from nothing like home love new orleans
City park is always wonderful. Love to go walking there. The new trail around Big Lake is great. The sculpture garden is very very beautiful and free! Story land is a fun place for children, but there is a small admission fee. My 16 month old is just as happy running around on one of the excellent playgrounds. This is one of the few parks with swings designed for small children, btw. There are always lots of other kids for him to play with. Our dogs like coming here too. City park has been one of my go to spots for as long as I can remember. I'm sure it will continue to be in the future.
Very cool to visit. Great sculpture park and very nice botanical garden with several other attractions as well that I unfortunately didn't have time to visit. Will definitely go back.
Nice, clean and love the options for play areas. The different playsets for different ages is wonderful. always enjoy my time in city park
What a great place. The statue museum is a must see.
Bought a poor boy sandwich went to city park to eat and relax great place to go with family and friends. Will do it again...excellent
I biked around the whole park and wish I could've spent more time there! So much to see!
The park is beautiful with all the spring flowers blooming & families out enjoying the park.
Love city park it's outdoors and so fun different things to do there..the sculpture garden, museum, park for kids and so much more
Absolutely gorgeous park perfect for strolling and enjoying the weather! The sculpture garden is great and Morning Call has delicious beignets and iced coffee. The old oak trees are also a must see!
Very cool place definitely would come back if in New Orleans again
Late Happy Easter to Everyone I didn't see or hear from the boys this EASTER So I guess that I will post some of the old picture's of them until next year LUV y'all
Best part - the way the amazing sculptures interacted so intuitively with the landscaping and gardens, in both the public garden and the ticketed botanical gardens. Art and nature in harmony. The Entique Alferez sculptures in the lovely botanical gardens, esp, are phenomenal.
Several playgrounds, beautiful scenery, an amusement park, restaurant, museum, and public bathrooms throughout the park! Great for a day of fun with the kids. Its huge too- even bigger than Central Park!
Beautiful! Don t miss out on the NOMA sculpture garden!
Four stars only due to development. Know the park needs the money but still preferred it more open.
Awesome park. The sculpture garden and live oaks are incredible. Would recommend checking this place out to anyone in town looking to get away from the party for a few hours.
Enjoyed the stroll through the park after visiting the museum.
Fun miniature gulf good to see the park back open again
