So well done and well built.. Express pass worth every cent.. Cruised through the lights on the hay ride but they stopped twice, once for the manger scene with Cross and Ressurection and again for a salute to freedom. God Bless Texas!

While it s a cool atmosphere, logistically it s a nightmare. Between crowding, price gouging (on rides, pictures, petting zoo, etc) terrible car parking, and long lines, you don t get to enjoy anything about the place. It took us a 30 minutes of waiting in a car line to park, then 30 minute wait to get a bus to pick us up, then once you re in the park, we waited 1 hr 45 minutes for a hay ride in the freezing cold. By the time we were done, it was time to leave, so we only got to do one thing! After that it s another 30 minute wait for a bus again.

While this place had potential, I think it needs to do a better job of limiting ticket quantities per day, or putting time slots for hay ride so that you get to partake in more than one activity in a 4 hour stretch. I think that the price of the ticket should get you a chance to do most everything in the park, instead of being ripped off (picture in front of Texas flag lights for $25) and standing in insane lines everywhere you go that you don t even have to put up with at Disney land or six flags. We will not be spending $250+ to go back ever again. I have seen replies from the company stating other theme parks are similar, but that s just not true. If you pay to go to Six Flags, you get 95% of everything in that price. It s ridiculous to charge for nearly all the activities. Pretty much $40/pp to ride a hay ride and bounce on an inflatable slide. Food and drinks were reasonable, but some had insane lines as well that makes it tough to wait on.

While being in high demand is lucrative, quality is better long term over quantity. This is about Christmas, and should focus more on giving good, positive memories to families and kids.

It s a wonderful place to walk around with kids & family. I do believe though that for the price they charge all attractions inside should be included. With entrance ticket you basically pay for a train ride & a hay ride, everything else is gift ships & extra charge.

Ultimately, it was a good overall experience. Our kids, aged 2 and 6 enjoyed their time here. There's many things to do to keep youngins' busy. We avoided waiting in lines, for purposes related to both covid, and sanity. The atmosphere was what you'd like to see. The drive to find a parking spot was adventurous(very bumpy). All in all, I'm not sure if the time spent here warrants the admission fee. I'd come back if our oldest daughter requests it.

Unless you prepare for EVERYTHING in advance then ...

Unless you prepare for EVERYTHING in advance then this will NOT be a fun trip. We bought our tickets online but unfortunately they ran out of parking passes online. When we got there right on Friday at 5pm (the early access), ALL of the first 3 lots are filled and everyone is driving across the highway to park, then getting shuttled back from across the highway to Santa's wonderland. There was SO much traffic and the lots were extremely dark. We winded up paying $15 each car to park in the open lot that was open in the back. Masks are ONLY enforced in the tiny shops which are impossible to navigate through with a stroller. Even though its an outside venue everyone is still shoulder to shoulder touching because it's so over filled with people. No one wears a mask btw. Restrooms have unbearably long lines with 1 changing station in the womens restroom. Our plans were to ice skate with the kids then pics with Santa. Sadly to say, this mama went home with 3 sad babies because the EARLIEST reservation was at 11:30pm and they close at 12:00am.. they were THAT booked. The "petting zoo" has 3 animals that you can not touch at all. It smells like manure and there are NO heaters in the entire place. When you get near the snow tubing area it is very wet and slippery with a ton of inclined hills so be careful!! The only thing fun was seeing all the lights on the short fast hay ride. Also, the food and drink prices are RIDICULOUS unless you have the money for it. Definitely plan ahead, I wish I did!!

There was lot of people but it didn't seem crowded. Shuttles were very prompt and all the staff were very friendly. Food prices are not outrageous. Wine prices @$10 a glass are outrageous. Likewise, $25 for professional pictures in the snowglobe and in front of the big Texas flag I thought was too much. However the funnel cakes are the largest I have ever seen. They can easily serve 4 adults so a family of 4 can split one and at $7 a good buy.

This was our first time coming and super disappointed. The lights went out and we were waiting to go on the hay ride. We were leaving and exiting through that general store when lights came back on. We had waited an hour when we had decided to leave.

Had an AMAZING time. You're gonna spend a LOT of money here. But it is fun. Theres a HUGE line to ride on a hayride through some amazing lights. But the line does move fairly quick for the actual size of this line. There is giant inflatable snow globes you can pay to have a family photo taken in. We thought the kids could go in and play, but it's for pictures only. They have fire pits for roasting hotdogs and marshmallows for s'mores. They even play a movie on a projector when it gets dark. Theres a bunch of food shops and huge souvenir shops. There was a little train ride. There is a place to take your picture with Santa. A big gingerbread bounce house. It "snows" ever so often but it's really just bubbles. It was a great experience.

Went last year and it was well worth the trip. But once you get there the price gouging begins. It is obvious they assume you will do it because you are to far from home. I didn't like that. Two seniors and one child $150. Just to get in. Regardless of food and trinkets. You pay forever! It rained the whole time and the adventure is based on the element of nature. My grand baby loves it. I took here for her birthday but maybe never again.

Best experience ever and it was cold when we went. I highly suggest you buy the express pass. If you re already spending money just buy them. You are able to do so much more by bypassing the lines.

The hay ride thru the Christmas light displays is wonderful. The displays are amazing. It just keeps going and going. It is the real highlight of the park.

Our daughter liked the petting zoo and the pony ride. These were nothing exceptional and they did cost extra, but they were fine.

Our food was surprisingly tasty for an amusement park. The employees are very friendly.

Only cons are the price and the crowd. Expect to pay > $50/person when you add it all up. We arrived at opening time ion the Friday after Thanksgiving, and it was packed.

Fantastic holiday experience! Family had a great time. There are plenty of things to do, good eats and overall a great atmosphere. Best time to go is during the week (Mon - Thu), that way you can avoid the big crowds.

A for sure must see especially if you have kiddos or without! Take a look at their website and see when they offer the best deals and take advantage of them! We went this Friday and it was the perfect time to go. Not crowded and $ off tickets and parking. But be prepared to spend some $ as everything is $! We will be back next year for sure! Oh yeah, they have beer and wine!

Santa's Wonderland was pretty amazing it was my first time going. I will give it as 5 stars because it was pretty awesome but I really do think that the ticket was overpriced to go in. and another thing that I didn't like was the hassle of parking getting a shuttle bus and waiting in line forever for them to take you into the park other than that everything was great though

Santa s Overpriced Wonderland only allows veterans...

Santa s Overpriced Wonderland only allows veterans free admission on the Hayride during opening weekend, Nov. 8-10.

This free Hayride does not include admission for their immediate family (spouse or children).

This is a slap in face for vets. Not only do vets serve, but so do their spouse and children. A veteran (unless single) is not going to go to Santa s Wonderland without their family.

Also,
I emailed them about sponsorship for my unit s family day (that drills in Bryan) and it took them three weeks to get back to me. I called them several times over those three weeks and they kept giving me the run around. This organization does not support local veterans or their families. Very sad.

I dont even know where to start. If you love lines...

I dont even know where to start. If you love lines go visit. So It all starts with a line to get to parking!! You start south on feeder and drive past wonderland then uturn until you can find parking on the northbound side directly across from the park(if you want to call it that) then you have to walk a mile!!! Back down the frontage road to the place. (you have to walk in the road because they allow people to park on the shoulder. Or I guess you would walk In the dark wet ditch!!! Once you get in plan on spending a hour in line to sled for 30 seconds then two hours for a 15 min hay ride. Eat before you go or die of starvation waiting to order and get your food.
Then then th walk back!! Good thing it's timed out... Nope now the cars a driving fast down the feeder and no one's directing traffic. The busses they have to fairy people are so dangerous!! One buss pulled off the road to what I thought to pick up my wife and 3 year old daughter. But they pulled so far off I had to crowed the buss to gt by. (or fall in the ditch) would be a big deal except my daughter was in a stroller. Right about the time I got to the back tire of the bus it took off!!! Forcing me to push my daughter down into the wet ditch!! Horrible. I will never ever ever go back. If you go bring a flash light wear boots warm clothes and a folding chair so you can have a seat during all your very long waits.

Beautiful lights!!! Actual snow for the kids to play in. The food is surprisingly good and you won't pay an arm and a leg. There are several fires to warm up next to and the staff is friendly and helpful even in the worst wether.

Amazing place! There is so much to see and do, even with babies. The hayride was beautiful, the picture with Santa was an easy process, and there were numerous opportunities for photo ops. Even the petting zoo was cute. This place is worth every penny spent!

Place was a horrible experience and waste of time,...

Place was a horrible experience and waste of time, lines are way too long(at least 1 hour for anything) and we came on a Thursday. Once we made it through long line at the security gate, we walked through the place to find out just about every activity you have to pay for, never made it on the hayride due(included with ticket price)to the long lines, kids were really irritated and then it started raining as well(within a hour), we asked to see if we can get a refund or rain check to come back next time and were told by the staff they do not give refunds or rain checks. The trip for us to just get in this place was like $130 and it didn t really include anything. I want to say that their marketing is really good but the experience is horrible. As I was writing this review, this place was on the TV news about other people having a bad experience at this place. I d recommend researching this place before going so you know what your getting yourself into.

From the moment you enter, you are greeted with such sweet staff! We drove 6 hours to celebrate our daughters early birthday (oilfield family). We highly recommend spending the money on Rudolph parking you get to enter through a different entrance, and it was much faster! We wanted to ensure we got the most of our experience, so we opted into getting ultimate express passes. There wasn t much lines anywhere for the express pass lane, but it was nice to get first seating on the train, and on the hayride! The lights were beautiful! Overall, it was an AMAZING experience, BUT what truly stood out was the friendly staff. They went out of their way to make sure our six year old was having the time of her life! Honestly, this place is everything a child imagines Christmas to be! We will definitely be back next year!

Love it! We come every year! My only complaint would be the hayride seemed shorter and a lot of the lights that we normally see were missing. Still had a lot of fun. Everyone is always so nice and helpful!

Just a warning to everyone, masks are NOT

Just a warning to everyone, masks are NOT
required to be worn by guest of Santa's Wonderland. All their employees were wearing mask and were extremely helpful but about 50% of the people there were not wearing a mask. They also raised the price to many of their events. Pictures with Santa now cost $25 for a digital copy and $15 for any more after that. And on top of that, they had Santa in an enclosed room with people with no mask on taking pictures. Only thing that kept Santa safe was a plastic screen shaped like a snow globe. Hope Santa does not catch covid. My kids would be pretty sad. Thankfully we brought our own hand sanitizer because there was none available through out the site.

If you bought tickets, it can be transferred to next year and hopefully the vaccine may be available to everyone. I would recommend skipping this year and maybe go next year. We are going to do that for our remaining tickets.

It's a pretty cool place with a ton of lights and a fair like atmosphere (and menu). I have gone twice now and we enjoyed it both times. The parking lots and many of the walking areas are dirt or gravel, but they have added a lot of asphalt walkways inside the park. If you go on the weekend in December expect to wait in long lines for everything, although they seemed better than last year.

IMPORTANT NOTE for parents that are planning on bringing a STROLLER. Make sure whatever you bring have big wheels that can handle going through loose gravel. Lots of people get stuck.

Great place for the family. Tips: go on a week night, get there right at opening, pay for parking. Some items are a bit pricey, and I'm not sure why some of the food shops weren't open? But definitely worth the trip

Beautiful lights lot of things for kids to do. Bull rides snow tubing, petting zoo, Pictures with Santa, Santa's letter writing, good or bad station. Largest funnel cakes, I've seen lots eating places, life shows. Lot fun place to relax and get away. Oh yes MILITARY get in free opening day.

Lights, Lights, and more Lights. Doesn't matter if you take the kids or go for a date night; you will for sure have a fun time, but unless you get there early or stay until almost closing you will have to wait in long lines. Definitely use the "Pro Tips" on the website. Also, I'd spring for the reserved parking!!! But if you don't you may have to park on the opposite side of the freeway, and will need to take the shuttle that they provide. To see all the good lights you will need to take one of the carriage rides or hayrides. If you want to experience everything they have to offer, you might think about going for more than just one night. Don't forget to get some hot chocolate and a funnel cake!

We have gone several times in past years. The lights are always amazing. I m rating them low because of the cost. After parking, it was $100 for two people. Then just about everything you want to do there is a charge for. $27 plus for pictures with Santa. $27 plus to go in the snow globe. $4 to enter the petting zoo. $7 to ride a pony. The food was between $4 (hotdog) to $15.
The place was packed and I couldn t help but look at all the people thinking they spent $100-200+ during the holidays which that money could have been used for gifts, family gatherings, etc.
While the lights were beautiful, I think it is overpriced.

We went on a cold Tuesday night so the cold part wasn't so great but everything else was great. The lights were great and there are so many. We had to wait in line for the hayride for about an hour but that was because they weren't expecting the place to be that busy for a Tuesday so they didn't have as many drivers as normal. If you happen to go when it's going to be cold take some of those HotHands (they make them for your feet too) and gloves and youll have a good time while staying somewhat warm.

A great place to see some wonderful Christmas lights. The carriage ride is wonderful and our driver was very informative. There are lots of places to get a bite to eat or just snack. There are also some wonderful places to have your picture taken or spots for you to take your own pictures.
