Clean big and wide! Make sure you have on your walking shoes, the is a mall next door but don't let next door foool you! It's plenty of steps away

Great place to forget about everyday worries( if any). Fun place to enjoy an afternoon and wager on the ponies.

The men's bathroom was clean at the soccer field otherwise there was nothing remarkable.

The last great horse race track. don't miss it before it's too late.

This place is beautiful and has the best backdrop of any sporting venue anywhere.

Love coming to San Anita racetrack have been coming to this place since I was a young girl I would come with my father brings back so many memories when I attend it now sorry to see that it is really slowing down with all the on line bedding people don't attend like they used to I don't know what's going to happen to this place with all the trouble that spin going on and really would hate to see it go

Still had a great time despite the small horse fields, I'm assuming a lot horses got moved out but oh well still great atmosphere

It's a place you can spend with the whole family very nice

Fun day. However, the food from Raggin Cajun was not up to there usual standard of excellence.

If I could give this place 10 Stars I would. My friends and I always have the best time here even if we lose money. One of my favorite places on earth. Very classy and elegant yet reasonable prices. I could go on for days on how much I love Santa Anita Race Track.

We only visited this time for the Weiner dog races in the infield. That was fun for the family. Love Santa Anita

626 Night market was so much fun!! I'm going back this weekend!! All the food vendors you can eat. Lol

Betting the ponies? Then this is your place! Nice track, easy parking, with scenic views of the mountains and surrounding area. Lots of other things nearby to do.

What can you say about the historic Santa Anita race track. No better way to spend an afternoon then in the infield enjoying the races and spending time with friends and family

Great place to watch live racing! Not many staff members are helpful or friendly. I think it's because I'm young and they're all older and look at me differently because they assume they know "how kids my age are"

Attended a cocktail party in the remodeled chandelier room, it was gorgeous!

LOVED betting on the horses! Pic I posted didn't show we won 4 out of the 5 bets placed during #mptf #dayattheraces - ridiculously fun. The people taking our bets were funny and efficient. Definitely going again soon. Great for two people or a group.

This place has a lot of history. It's kept the charm and atmosphere of the great days of horse racing. Nice place to visit, even if you don't bet on the races.

Excellent had five straight winners in race2-3-4-5-6&8

The Great Race Place is top-notch. Beautiful backdrop, gorgeous Thoroughbreds and 1930's ambience. Lovely.

Love Santa Anita, the track is beautiful with the Mountains in the background, the Front Runner restaurant has awesome food and service, and the Horse Racing is the Greatest around!

$40 for four people at Family Fun Day. Me, my daughter & grandkids had a blast. Will definitely go back again.

It truly is the great race place. Frontrunner restaurant has good food and excellent service.

First time here and it was a great day at the track, even if I didn't come out ahead. Box seats are only around $15 on weekends. Self Parking $4, easy walk to gate, Tons of parking. Valet is $10. Buy a program for $2.50 on the way in. Club and Box seats are in the shade. Attire was everything from shorts to resort wear to sport coats. Good people watching to.

Although the food and alcohol is very expensive, it is also good, with great options like the hand carved sandwiches (I would return just to have that for lunch). They also had stands in an air conditioned area for pasta, tacos, hotdogs and more.

There were 9 races Sunday. Each about 30 min apart. Service was excellent and very friendly about helping out, even first time betters like myself today. Don't be intimidated, you can even bet $1-$2 if you are risk adverse.

Colorful jockeys, beautiful horses, fresh air, interesting people... you'll love it.

Parking was $4 and another $5 to get through the door. After that it all depends on what kind of gambler you are while trying to budget for all the amazing food. They're are tons of food trucks inside. The views from the bottom of the race track are amazing and the vibe is extremely worth the trip as well. Recommend studying a little to place the bet if it's your first time.

The food is all good, restaurant, Mercado and clubhouse . Coffee always good.

Inspite of the recent negative publicity this is the most beautiful track. Nothing like it on Earth. Staff are super friendly and the competitive vibe is amazing. Thank you TSG for all you do for the horse racing industry. Amazing.

So much fun; so much history! The view is to die for. Fortunately, that day, it was the only thing dying.

Are Betty Kenji owns a couple horses so we went there for the day me and my buddy Hunter won which is always nice. They had a great American BBQ cook-off which was really good and I saw Bob Bafford which was really cool. The jockey in the picture was from the horse that won me money.

It's a fun place to go once in awhile. Dollar beer days are a blast.

They call this the Great Race Place for a reason. Big fun! Especially nice on the weekends and holidays.

First time there, was very enjoyable experience. The restaurant had good food and good service, will go back again.

You can tell this place was amazing back in the day, even in it's older state it's a lovely track, not too crowded and you can get super close to the track and the horses. There is an annual BBQ competition in the spring that has the best food ever

We spent this past Labor Day at the Golden Gate Fields and celebrated a couple of my wife's friends' (the twins) birthday. This was the first time I've been to GGF, or any race track for that matter, and I have to say I really had a great time. It was also Kids Day that day so they had Jumps and petting areas with animals, so there were things to do for the kids.
