Nice zoo. The zoo excels with their car safari and boat safari, but the walking safari (normal walking tour through the park) is not inferior to the other two options. Those animals have relatively much space. The park is very large so you can enjoy a full day there. The sanitary facilities can, in my opinion, be improved / modernized.

I think it is a unique experience to drive or sail between these animals with a beautiful simple environment of how most animal species live and also a nice combination of freedom and safety. It is a pity that most playgrounds are for the older children, but yes you come fortunately not with such beautiful animals and surroundings chapaue

A lot of varieties of African animals and birds. A great show with birds !!! In the park, travel by bus and by God, accompanied by a guide. Lots of cafes. I liked it very much, I recommend everyone to visit a wonderful park!

Very nice to do once.

Very nice to do once.
Being able to see all the animals well from the car, by boat and on foot. The staff are friendly. It was, probably due to corona, nice and quiet and everything was clearly visible

I went to Beekse Bergen yesterday with my family. The boat and bus tours are all in Dutch. There are regular stops to give information, of course, all in Dutch. This really just meant our tour was regularly delayed while we listened to white noise.

I accept that that I'm in your country and you're not obliged to accommodate me but, if you're setting yourself out as a tourist destination, you probably shouldn't alienate your non-Dutch speaking visitors. I would have happily paid extra for a headset that gives information in English. This really isn't a new concept.

Not surprisingly, I had no problems booking and paying for my tickets in English....

On another note, the food is very average and extremely expensive. The smart visitor will bring a packed lunch!

Sorry, but I can't recommend Beekse Bergen to the non-Dutch speaking tourist.

It's a nice place outdoors kind of crowded but mostly spaced. Nice Africa type animals suggestions add more trails because it's like a giant circle that makes people feel pushed to the next location and with covid just cant stand people all up in your personal space.

Nice safari park BUT.

Nice safari park BUT.
The animals had very stomachs and feathers / fur was badly cared for .. they seemed sick ... looked very sad especially the dromedary, ostrich!

The roads were very badly constructed, pits and stones, causing damage to one car.

But it was a lot of fun at the giraffe section !!

To be repeated

Despite the Corona measures had a nice day. In the beginning at the start of the walking route with all people a little too busy for my liking, but gradually that resolves itself. Too bad the boat and the bus could not now. Furthermore, it remains a nice park and especially the area where the ring-tailed lemurs roam free!

Beekse Bergen is so much more than a zoo. Due to the spacious layout, you can travel by car, bus or boat through Asia or Africa. But you actually see just as much on foot. It is recommended to stay in the holiday park, the overnight stays include access to the park. Then you don't have to go through it all at once. We were there during the winter dream decoration. Nice and winter and decorated with lights, music and atmosphere. In short, recommended even if you often visit other zoos like us.

I love this park. Unlike many zoos, most animals here really have a lot of space. It is a wonderful walk where you see something different every time. This is also taken into account in the corona time. We immediately took out a subscription to be able to practice our hobby photography. Absolute must.

Make sure it s not a rainy day when you go there. The animals hide and it s difficult to find them. I particularly like this place cause they seem to care about the animals and make sure they have their own space.

+ Beautiful spacious park to walk around with a toddler. He can easily lose his energy.
+ You see the animals react more naturally in a spacious setup.
+ Beautiful decoration.
+ The birds of prey show has been recommended for years.
+ Enthusiastic staff who would like to give explanations.

- you will notice it in your legs if you have been there all day.
-input for the bus is not convenient if you have a bad leg.
-file driving with your own car, therefore prefer to do the bus or boat safari. Much more relaxed
- the toilet can be cleaned more frequently on busy days.

Of course it remains wild animals, so you sometimes run the chance not to see all the animals during a safari.
Tip: take a small binoculars for the kids. Sometimes the animals walk a bit further away.

Had a wonderful day with my twins of 3. Done the walking safari
It was 24 degrees and all animals outside. Very neat and well maintained park. Long queues at ice cream and snack points due to insufficient (and slow) staff. Half of the cash registers are not staffed. Furthermore, a must for young and old!

Currently (October) the park is open from 10:00 to 17:00 7 days a week (the park is open longer during the summer). Entering the area (behind the barrier) by car it is important to buy a "parking ticket" which costs 9.5 , without which we will not be able to leave the car after sightseeing. An adult admission ticket costs 26 (bought online 24 ).
I spent 5 hours in the park (At that time I covered the route by car, then on foot, and finally by return by boat). You can also choose a bus trip. Huge space, animals are not "stuffed" or closed in cages as in the ZOO. I think there could be more in such a large area. As for the boat, in my opinion it is best to decide on the end of the walking tour (when we go the whole route to get to the beginning). It took me 1.5 hours to go from beginning to end, with stops to admire the animals (one way). I came back by boat. While sailing, the guide tells trivia about animals, in Dutch.
While sightseeing by car, you can download an application that tells about the animals you pass by in the chosen language . Do not keep the windows open.
The biggest attraction for me when visiting the car are of course giraffes.
When walking, I was most happy for the Lemurs that run next to the visitors, but I thought they would be more sociable.
If someone wants to feed goats, I recommend "arm yourself" with 50 cent (you can buy crisps).
It is forbidden to feed animals in the park. I do not know if the ban includes seagulls but they themselves "steal" food in the open. I stole fries .
I don't have a comparison to other safari parks yet, but I recommend going to that.

Please do not stay here, corona measures are not complied with by the park or visitors. Few, if any, effective measures have been taken to this end, and keeping a distance is often not even possible! You are also through the car safari which was also disappointing ... really expected more.

Today I went to the safari park, which immediately noticed that it was super busy, and everyone was sent in the same direction. With as a result congestion, no one who could keep to 1.5 meters. It was far too busy for that. The safari park is large enough to give everyone space, but if you send everyone in the same direction at the same time, you can expect problems.
