There is everything at reasonable cost. Reef full of fish (including sharks and manta rays), excellent service (daily change of linen) and excellent restaurant. Perfect

My wife and I visited the Royal Island in August 2016 for our honeymoon. I will simply echo the thoughts of most reviewers when I state that it was one of the most beautiful places on earth.

We were given room 177 on the far side of the island which is quieter and better for swimming around in. Everything was immaculate abd the open shower was a great first time experience. I miss the island, the sounds, the food and of course the staff terribly.

I hope to return in future and see some of the staff who we miss dearly.

The hotel was wonderful. Staff is awesome! Excellent food! Great facilities! Overall it is a place you cant forget!

I am very pleased to feel very good. South drink ok. It is not possible to order alcoholic drinks in the restaurant in case of half-board. In their house, the climate wasn't cleaned up. You can't sleep without a climate. 1l of water per day for free. There is coffee and tea prepared. The programs are expensive. The shore is about 10m away, the sea is empty, the reef can catch fish. Need the goggles check mark and the float sole. Beautiful white sand. I'd go back some time!

The trip by three planes and a boat is tiring (especially waiting for the result of Covid, check-in and transfers at airports), otherwise it's the best place I've been.

We stayed 10 days in late September and it was a dream. The beach bungalow is big and clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful. If you want to enjoy the holiday in peace this place is perfect. Despite several hotel guests you hardly notice it. So you can relax great. The beach and the house reef are great. The hotel island itself is clean and well maintained.

Because the island is very pretty, you feel good and eat well then we are in the Maldives.

Paradise in the Indian Ocean. Brilliant water sports and very lovely staff. I will definitely visit again.

If you want to see paradise, don't hesitate and go to Royal Island !! We spent 7 nights there and I can say it was a miracle. The staff was very nice and polite, our Beach Villa was very clean (cleaning twice a day!) And totally comfortable. Everything was SUPER, I recommend this Resort to everyone! As soon as possible, we will be back !!!!

Small Maldives island, nice bungalowes, plenty of activities, wifi all around including bungalow. Wide selection of food, cleanest. Some of the staff very friendly, but some of the waiters are bit arrogant and standoffish. Sometimes by the tide you can smell waste water.
Nice destination for snorkeling due tu wide range of fishes on the reef.

Honeymoon totally Amazing. A wonderful place on earth, with all comforts and a very efficient service. Many activities available but all chargables, like night fishing, snorkeling, diving, massages and many others. I suggest to come before May, because of the rainy season. Anyway you can enjoy the brightness of the sea, the romantic sunsets and the fantastic nature.

Little expensive but overall awesome experience. Staff is really good specially GM who were very humble and nice person. Been there for anniversary celebrations and they made our trip memorable. Will visit again for sure.

Nothing can be bought, since there are no shops, except for one, small and modest, but that is practically nothing

The staff made our stay extremely comfortable and their friendly attitude made us feel very welcome ,children didn't want to leave Royal Island.They catered to my child's dietary needs and were very attentive during every meal for our whole stay.Staff that really helped us include F&B managers Kumar and Karuna and Chef Sharath and our waiter Ashan.The spa also offers wonderful massages with very professional staff.My daughter's birthday was celebrated very well and staff made her feel very special.We were lucky to spot dolphins.Scuba diving lessons and snorkelling opportunities and water sports are highly recommended.

I agree with the review of the store, bought souvenirs and gifts on another island, in a 4 * hotel shop, their choice is chic, by contrast. But this is the only negative, otherwise everything is fine !!!

Nice quiet place, friendly staff very welcoming and polite. Good service and a wise selection of tasty food. Wonderful spa. The water sports staff are amazing. Only its too dark at night I wish they could add a few lights on walk ways and rooms too.

The perfect island paradise. Everything for a great holiday is there. Delicious and varied food. Lots of sports. Diverse marine world. We saw mantas, stingrays, reef sharks near the coast. Cabins with their own sun loungers (mattresses and towels included). We will definitely come back here again.

Excellent compromise between being immersed in nature and staying in a tourist village. The beach houses are well furnished and spacious, the sea is 10 meters away and is nothing short of amazing. The buffet restaurant is discreet.

Wonderful Spa and excellent treatment, but far too expensive

We had a great time, which unfortunately went too fast. The bungalows were very nice and the food was excellent. The arrival and departure is a bit longer to the atoll, but you are greeted by a beautiful island. Recommended.

If paradise exists it has to be very similar to this island. The surroundings are spectacular, the facilities of the hotel magnificent and their staff very attentive at all times.

A very beautiful experience, diving is also the most beautiful, and the food was amazing and terrible. The marine games are entertaining and entertaining. The hotel staff is very helpful and upscale. The service was fast. They lack Wi-Fi

(+) All the staff were quite friendly. Rooms are quite clean. We didn't have any problem because we had to sit at the same table booked for the whole holiday and eat at us. The dinner prepared for honeymoon couples was quite nice. The welcome message in the room was a nice surprise because we were a honeymoon couple again. The spa environment is really very nice and I would recommend the massage as well. It is a safe, remote location.
(-) The waiting time of the transfer aircraft was too long, we had to wait at the airport 4. Considering the transfer plane, transfer van and ferry, it takes 6 hours to reach the hotel after arriving in Male. We were expecting more variety of fruit in the restaurant but the number of fruit variety was low.
