Great Track with so many views. People in general were nice and responsible towards others. Camping areas and hosts were very nice and everything was well organized with a hitch. Plenty of staff to clean up... Great to see a well run place!

So much fun at the IMSA championship weekend. We had a camping pass. There is so much access to the paddock, drivers, teams, put. Everything!

There are a lot of places to go, so plan to hike or golf cart it if you want to get around the 4 miler track.

Sun screen

It s hot in the summer, so plan for it. Bring some sort of shade.

Foods ok. $6 for a short and dried out brat and at 5 on Friday, they had 3 betrays and a hot dog left.

GO TO THE ELKS LODGE ON THE HILL. best food. Their food is freshly grilled and they ha r sweet corn.

Relax and fun.

I've been to dozens of events at Road America as a spectator and participant. It is an absolutely stunning place in the world. Ticket prices can be tough to swallow, but making it free for kids under 12 and keeping the paddock open to all, really help. The improvements to the spectator areas for the 2014 season were great and much needed (terracing of the hills inside turn 5 and turn 14). Keep improving and we'll keep coming!

if you have a scooter or dirt bike this is where you need to go with it to watch races. I honestly believe some people just go here to ride around the grounds on their motorcycles. Its a hoot to watch. Not a lot of rules but then none are really needed. Just go wherever you want and if your not allowed turn around. Its a huge track and great for spectators.

Love watching the GT LeMan Sports Cars race here! The speeds are very intense and seeing true racing non-stop action! These car's are extremely expensive and these guys drive with NASCAR like contact and there's never a dull moment! The facility and staff are very important to the whole experience. If you are a NASCAR fan, and haven't been to see this type of racing, I believe that you will enjoy yourself. With NASCAR, you only have 3 manufacturers, while in these races have everything from BMW's, and Porsche to exotic Cadillac prototypes, corvettes and Lamborghini. The sounds are awesome, you can hear the turbocharged whine and the unique sound of a prototype hybrids.

Nice facility with good access from major highways. Depending on the event, it can be quite expensive. $37 and up for a lot of events. There is a gift shop as well as many food and drink options available on the property.

Even if you are a part time race fan this is a great place to spend a day watching cars do their thing. Just a great place to sit back and take in the racing and the rolling hills of northern Wisconsin.

Just returned back to Road America after 20 years ...

Just returned back to Road America after 20 years of moving away from Wisconsin to South Carolina. Brought up our grandson (10 years old), and his mom (an experienced RA fan) to experience the spectacle of the finest sports car racing circuit in America. He (we) loved the TUDOR Races, and he would be back next year, with his mother and father. His mom attended Road America races for 20 years with his parents (us), and she was also excited about returning back to RA. She said when we arrived on the rainy Friday "Boy did I miss this excitement and this beautiful course" The course is amazing, the people are amazing, and the food, well nothing like it anywhere in the world.
I have attended a number of races in the south, they include Road Atlanta, VIR and a number of other circuits. NOTHING comes close to the enjoyment that RA has to offer.
Will try to return next year, and bring the family.
THANKS ROAD AMERICA PEOPLE, AND THANKS TO THE GREAT FACILITY.

A tradition is being handed down to the next generation to enjoy the facility and all the great racing experience which will last a lifetime for us..

I made plans to be at the SCCA runoffs months ago ...

I made plans to be at the SCCA runoffs months ago 10/9 to 10/11. It has been a good weekend up till now. On Friday the weather was pretty good, Saturday it was cool and windy. The fall colors have been great. The racing has been great and so has the food, I got to meet and talk with one of the winning drivers (GT-1). I only have a couple of complaints. First, there is only 2 of their concession stands open and both are inside the track (Gearbox and John the Baptist), so if you want some of that great track food you better park a little close to that area or you have to walk there. That kind of limits where you can watch the races from. I guess you could bring your own food or even cook something there. I have been coming to this track for a very long time but first time at the runoffs. They did have a few big TV screens (turn 1, turn 3, turn 5) so you could watch the race from any of those corners and not miss anything. The track announcers that were doing the races kept talking about the food and where you could get it but most of the ones they talked about were closed. I can't believe that they didn't know that. Second, on Friday I parked inside the track near turn 14 by the Gearbox concession stand, so on Saturday I had planned to park in the same spot because it was near turns 5 and 14 and it seemed to be a good spot. Well on Saturday I got turned away by a track employee when I started to turn left to go under the tunnel that leads to the spot I wanted to park at. He said I could walk there but not park there. So that was a bit frustrating for me. I guess that the track wanted to limit where you could park because it was going to be a busy day. I had to park outside the track near turn 14 and walk over the bridge to get to the same spot I was at on Friday. I then did see some of the same people parked on Saturday that I park near on Friday. So now I don't know if they found a way to get by track personnel or if they had the wrist band that allowed them to park there. I had left knee surgery a few years ago and have a handicapped sticker allowing me to park a bit closer to things so having to walk to the same place on Saturday that I parked on Friday was a bit upsetting. I'm still having a good time how can you not when you are at Road America.

Paid the extra money for an electric trackside site for the races in august. Read the the camping rules before purchasing and no where does it say that pop ups are not allowed in the trackside sites. I was now told that they do not allow them but was given no real explanation as to why. They redunded my money but that is besides the point. Stupid that they turned away a paying camper. Will not be wasting money there.

It's the experience a true race fan will never forget. This facility has made so many improvements to the fan experience over the years. Truly a world class track. Have worked there for many years at various times and for every major type of event held including track days and club events. Always been treated well by the staff and racers. My favorite place to go in the summer. Lots of food options and the viewing experience is fan friendly and phenomenal. Go if you can at least once in your lifetime.
