I've seen two shows in there.
'The sound of the shoulders we're on' & 'Erasmus Montanus' and they both have been amazing. Going to the theater is always a great experience and Aarhus Theater is not an exception.
The seats were okay, not quite comfortable but the wardrobe is the opposite, as if it was well put together and nice and delicious!
Highly recommend this place!

We were so lucky to be in on Sunday December 11, 2016 "sing Christmas in" nice event super choir. But it was a little strange that there wasn't even a Christmas tree or other Christmas decorations. It was my 5 year old grandson who on the way home commented on it.

Have had two great experiences here! It can be a bit pricy if you're not a student, but it's understandable, since it really is a lot of work and people who need to get paid for all of it. It's great though.
Good works with scenery.

Finally, there's Studio 1 - a flexible black box space used primarily for rehearsals but also available for small-scale productions.

In addition to its regular season of performances, Århus Teater also offers a range of educational programs designed to introduce young people to the world of theatre. These programs include workshops on acting techniques, playwriting seminars, backstage tours of the theatre facilities.
