Hotel was super new and updated and very aesthetically pleasing. My favorite part was after coming inside after having just snowed, a hotel worker cooked some freshly made rice and chili (delicious by the way!) for the guests.
this is an exceptional residence inn beautiful restoration/architecture, generally great staff, and a nice stay.
Lobby is inviting. Nice center courtyard with sitting area. Looks new inside. Rooms are modern and updated. Room had a full fridge and good cooking area. Would stay here if needed an extended stay

Fantastic location, very well done historic restoration of the building. Rooms are top notch, only quibble is no fitness center and airplane noise can be troublesome for light sleepers. However staff and ambiance more than make up for this. Would stay again next time in Boston.
Great relatively quiet spot close to downtown and the airport. Some great eats within close walking distance. Rooms are Marriott standard with some extra character due to the historic nature of the building. Decent, if pedestrian, breakfast options. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel. Seems recently renovated. Walking distance to a bunch of restaurants and a shirt cab ride from the airport.
The location is fantastic with plenty of restaurants at a stone's throw from the hotel. The rooms are great with a kitchenette if you want to cook up a quick meal for yourself.

The building is a cool looking and relaxing red brick setup with modern art aspects throughout. The service was amazing and our room was one of the best i've ever stayed in. The coffee bar and breakfast servings were great too. The location is also very convenient for people who want to walk around and enjoy the boston waterfront in a nice part of town. Would definitely go back!!

Rooms have pretty much cardboard walls, I could hear alarm of the guy next door at 5am. Then he would start talking on a phone and that pretty much killed my sleep every morning throughout my stay.
The hotel started flooding and the building was evacuated due to a leak in the ceiling in the lobby, so we weren't able to finish our meeting. Other then that it was nice. They provided water, notepads, and pens.
Literally the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. My husband and I were hoping to have our first night of sleep since having a newborn in this hotel. We were both awakened by blaring Japanese news at 3 am from the room next door. I called in a complaint and he did turn it down. At 5 am there was a man yelling at his 3 children on the other side. I called in another complaint but they did not proceed with quiet. I received no apologies, vouchers, or anything despite being a full pay customer. This place is garbage. The walls are extremely thin. It s probably a nice place to stay if you have nice neighbors, but I wouldn t roll the dice again. I m not a rich or luxury lady, but if I could give 0/5 I would. Go elsewhere.
A perfect home away from home! Ask and the staff is on the solution. Truly enjoyed pour stay and the MANY places to eat in walking distance.
Just DON'T order food in from Teriyaki House! Bland and soggy.

Very nice, big rooms with a living room/kitchen area and separate bedroom. Friendly staff and appealing design. Big lobby and a lot of areas to sit and work or relax. Very loud street noise. I could hear casual conversations between people on the sidewalk. Definitely ask for a room on a higher floor, at least then all you hear is regular downtown noise.
Great hotle in a great location. Rooms are well appointed and the staff is friendly. They have a great breakfast in the mornings and the bar is excellent in the evening.

One of the nicer Residence Ins I have stayed at. Has an industrial vibe in the lobby and such but the rooms are spacious and nice. The neighborhood is great as well, lots of places to go out to dinner and its a short walk to the convention center.

Beautiful rooms that respect the older style of the area. Great service at the front desk and a nice coffee shop attached to the hotel. Breakfast is buffet style and very good (waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, etc.)

Location is awesome for seaport and the facility was exactly what we wanted. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Air conditioner doesn't actually do anything. I talked with the front desk and the facilities guy (Jose) was trying to convince me that it was my fault for changing it from 68 Auto to 65 High. I changed it because the room got up to 79. I set it back to his recommendations with him in the room with me. I stood up to hold my hand to the vent and the air is still blowing warm air. I checked the room temperature and it's 80 now. He says give it ten minutes. I'm writing this at ten minutes.
Edit: Jose told me that all rooms were booked so he'd find a fan and I couldn't go to a new room. Meanwhile I called customer service. They spoke with Veronika at the front desk (who was very nice throughout). Customer service says they have another room for me if I go to the front desk. I pack my things, and go down. There at the front are Veronika and Jose. Veronika is helping me out and Jose is pretending he never told me they were fully booked. The new room had working AC set to 70 auto. If you like paying about $600 a night and being lied to about multiple things, be their guest.

Stayed here a couple nights while on vacation. Excellent location, restaurants and coffee shops right around the corner. Our room had plenty of space and was extremely clean. Staff was helpful, and the breakfast was great!
Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel is modern open loft concept. Lobby area is very modern and trendy. Rooms have open ceilings with exposed rafters. Breakfast is included at no additional charge. There is also a coffee shop attached to the lobby area.
Unfortunately, at my stay, the walls were paper thin. You could here anyone talking from the next room at 10:00 pm and my kids had trouble sleeping. There was a bag of chips left in a cabinet in my $371 room. My experience was fine and the food was delicious but there was also an opened bottle of shampoo left over, and no coffee filters for the coffee machine.
This is the best brand for when you're between homes, or when you're traveling needing a home-like place to rest. If you need a personal shopper, it can be arranged by speaking with the front desk staff. Everything will be provided in your studio, one or two bedroom suite such as kitchen supplies. If you require something that's not in your suite, just ask. This is the best place that offers safety, comfort and luxury. I am in the entertainment industry, so I love it for when traveling with the filming crew so I can work on scripts.

What an awesome hotel. They transformed an old building into a unique and well appointed hotel. The room was large, modern, and more than enough space for all of us. I would recommend staying here and do it again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely love this hotel. Location is amazing, the price is always affordable! The bar is small but has all the selections one would need. The only suggestion that I have is that they provide a bar menu and a food menu.
Quite a gem in Boston. Rooms were well appointed and spacious. Overall design of the hotel is very nice and one of the more unique Marriott properties I've seen!

First requirement of any hotel stay, cleanliness. This hotel was clean from top to bottom. Next up, friendly staff. Perfection here. Very pleasant and helpful. My only complaint, and certainly not enough to give less than five stars, more USB outlets needed. In this connected world, it would be nice to have USB ports in the desk.

The only gripe is uber/lyft seems to get directed across the street and never show up where we place the pin for pick up at the front entrance. The back entrance is on the main street and requires your key to get in. Otherwise, lovely.

I have finally found this and have been wanting to leave a review of my stay at this hotel since I left. I was there from 21 to 24 Oct. I have stayed in many Residence inn in my life and have always had a good/positive experience but this particular hotel has to be by far my best. The customer service was great and on point, I almost felt I was staying at a resort because nothing I asked for was denied and promptly serviced. A young lady m=named Emma is such a great representation of Marriott and Residence inn. Super helpful, Knowledgeable of the entire surrounding area. She even gave me a hand with my laundry. I was there on business but I definitely plan to come back there for a visit soon. This was also my first time in Boston. Very good stay. Thanks Emma
Excellent location, and tremendously competent and helpful staff. Building itself is very interesting--exposed beams were a nice touch. Only issue I had was with noise--we got a lot of noise from outside (our room was on the second floor), as well as noise from the hallfway--rooms could do with a little more soundproofing....
Great stay here. Large room with a kitchenette. Very quiet. Hearty breakfast with super friendly staff (Thanks, Lewis). Within walking distance to local restaurants, Boston Tea, and South Train Station, amongst others.
