Recommended we visit this place by our concrete people and then again by landscaper. Happy we did. We purchased our exterior oversized dining table and chairs. Super quality furnishings. Ended up with some
Great ready made planters and plants. The selection is great and the pots are beautiful. It was the final additions to our new exterior space. Renovations are complete. We will be back here again for sure.

Flowers are in excellent condition. Wasted time looking around close to home. It was worth the drive.

Landscaping Project and Plant Purchases
We have bought plants and bushes and trees from Wiegands over the years and been happy with all.
Always got good advice and good quality, one or two times needed to return something we were taken care of.
We needed to re-do our front yard, add trees to backyard, replace entire lawn and improve drainage around our house. Never considered Wiegands even though we heard they offered design services. After several disappointing and over-priced proposals we finally gave Wiegands a try. Very pleasantly surprised. The gem we found is Theresa Miller their designer. She has all the skill, patience and understanding, she put in the time and effort to get everything right and to make sure we understood all we wanted or needed and how best to go about it. Theresa also hooked us up with a good landscaping company, part of the design services. Project had several twists & turns but both Theresa and the landscape company took care of everything all the way through to the end and the project turned out great.
Very happy with whole Wiegand experience and would recommend highly.

I tried asking about a spruce pine and this red-headed lady was very rude & continuously ignored my questions. Would never go back there again.

Thank God for English Gardens, I got my questions quickly answered & a reasonable price on my tree.

prices a little on the steep side -- also why they've got AC inside on hot summer's days. you're paying for the value of your experiences.

They have everything you need for around a home flowers pottery some Landscaping things patio furniture the stores beautiful plants are healthy price is on little bit of the expensive side if price is not a factor this is the store for you don't even need to shop around and I just want to let everybody know you do get what you pay for at least you do at this store

Emily was a great deal of help as we explored various plants for our yard. She was tremendously patient and friendly. We have some great ideas and will measure twice and return for the plants next weekend

Excellent customer service and great prices for quality trees

Very friendly and helpful staff. The cypress we were looking at had no tag or price and could not be found in the system. The staff gave us a fair price, comparing to similar species. Their selection of perennials, shrubs, and trees are vast and the staff very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this nursery!

The person on the phone tried to help, but they answered my question wrong and we wasted 2 hours driving. I was clear in what I asked for, teach your employees the difference between dwarf, semi dwarf, and full.

Went to Home Depot this morning and Lowe's did not like their flowers drove out to wiegands Nursery which was 30 minutes away their flowers were gorgeous it was worth the ride I will definitely go back there

What a great place. Recently revamped our
Backyard for a summer event. We needed new stubs and some ideas for the new patios we had installed as we removed everything and started from scratch. weigands helped us with not just picking stuff that would work and grow they helped lay it out with our new decking. The stuff is high quality and it looks super. Will be purchasing all our lawn and garden needs from here out from this location. Thanks for the guidance and for adding the finishing touches to our newly renovated back yard. Very happy.

Every time I walk through the Christmas displays I find a new item! This place displays such great ideas that I can do to pretty up my house with their things I purchase! Today there were more things on sale and The Almond Hut was there. Win-win for me!

They have what I want and if I have questions or problems with my plants the ladies there are wonderful and helping me with my problems

Every year for the last 10+ years my family has enjoyed many events and classes here. We've purchased plants and trees as well including my beautiful cherry trees!

One of my favorite garden centers. One of the few locations that regularly stocks (Michigan) native plants. Watch for sales and coupons. Quality is good and the gift shop is very nice too. Big selection. Trees, firewood, mulch seeds, perennials, annuals and everything related garden & landscaping.

Love this place been going here since I was a kid. I live next to bordines and drive to here. Much better prices and knowledgeable staff

This place truly has the pros in nursery and lawn care. Purchased a home last summer that had an awful lawn. My husband and I felt no big deal we can fertilize and get it back. Was not the case, we tried a multitude of fertilizers and tips given, no success. Sod companies said kill it all off and resod. That was the plan until we tried one last effort and took some photos in to weigands. The gal knew exactly what the issue was and gave us a 2 step spray treatment. We noticed a change within 2 weeks of first application, followed with second shortly before cold weather set in and then followed her spring recommendations this season. Our grass was beautiful thick and disease free all summer. Highly recommend them for outdoor lawn shrub and tree issues. This gal knew her stuff.

We bought a small tree and 2 hanging plants and the one hanging plant died. We took it back just to be told the hanging plants are not guaranteed!!! We have been shopping there for years but this would be our last visit.

I have shopped at Wiegands for years. I have found that they have very healthy product and a great selection. However, I was there on a Friday morning in mid-May and was shocked to see that there was not one employee in the nursery area (which is a large space) to help customers. I had questions about a bush but left without buying anything because I couldn't find any staff. Also, there was an entire table of spikes that were not priced, no signage and when an annual clerk called the number in to find the price, there was no item coming up. May is a very busy time, seems like they would have made more of an effort to get their shop staffed.

Amazing inventory, incredible quality and service with a unbelievable staff.

Every year it's my go-to store for all my lawn and garden needs! The knowledge of the workers is amazing! Many times I've brought a weed or a flower in and asked 'what's this?' and they always have a quick answer, description, and knowledge of if it's a problem and how to get rid of it without harming the surrounding plants or grass...I absolutely recommend Wiegands to everyone!

They always have amazing unique experiences for families to attend. A super store tucked away in Macomb.

Had a list of lanscape plantings for a design my wife and I did. We are in a new construction and just getting the front and back yard completed. This place was terrific, they showed us which plantings and trees would work in the areas we had them and what would not. They helped us redesign Our plan then loaded us up with what to get in first. So helpful and our handiwork on the finished area looks professionally done.

Amazing selection, will most certainly be returning again and again. Wonderful customer service, knowledgeable staff, high quality and healthy plants. Worth the drive.

Let me put it this way. . . . If the rating went to 10 stars, I would check the 10 stars, etc. Love the place. Friendly, helpful (if you're looking for a specific item, they actually take you there), informative & honest (they answer your questions and if they don't know the answer, they don't BS you, they ask other employees, until they get informed answer). Love their spring workshops.

My first time at Wiegards and I was very impressed. Beautiful arrangements ready to go, so many choices. I will be back for my gardening needs.

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!
Needed some screened top soil. I called 1st and asked if they had it and the customer service representative said yes.
So I head over and pay for it. As the employee was putting in my truck I heard what sounded like rocks. Stopped the loader and said is this screened? "Response I don't know "
Let him finish loading thinking I asked for screened and I'm at Ray Wiegands so it has to be top notch products.

Drove 70 miles and started to unload and found its full of Rock. Super disappointed I was filling forms from concrete. I had just raked my yard until it was spotless from all of the digging.
As I unloading it I realized it is mostly rock and then found GLASS SHARDS in it as well. Realized this is not even good Fill Dirt at this point.

Called the store the next day. Spoke to a manager and explained the above. He took my number and said. " I don't know if its screened or not" now all the pieces fit. If management is unaware of the products they are selling. How can the staff !!!!
Back to the number he takes my number and says. " I will speak to my boss on Monday and call you back" Well its Thursday still no call.

Everyone beware of the products you buy here. I will never return.

I go here for work almost every day, and am met with highly skilled professionals of horticulture each and every time. Very friendly staff, they greet me by my first name. I'm beginning to build a friendship with these people and I'm perfectly okay with that.

Best Family owned garden center in the Midwest. Largest selection of trees and many more unique plant materials you won't find anywhere else with exceptional quality and costumer service. A must stop place for all seasons from spring to Christmas you won't be disappointed!

High-end everything for your garden needs. A very lovely place to spend some time browsing around to get new ideas for your outdoor needs. I guarantee, you cannot leave without buying something that catches your eye.

I simply just love this place. They always have what I want. I love all the fairy garden items they have. It's very enjoyable and fun to look at and buy them too. Sometimes I will go there just to look around because it makes me feel good.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! The employees were rude to us and didn't treat us like adults just because we are a smaller landscaping company and "don't spend enough money." I wouldn't go here again. Please Go somewhere else if you want good service.

Great selection, great pond plants and fish. Very expensive for average quality trees and shrubs , plants and flowers are more reasonably priced but larger items are priced as if they were from high end growers. You can do better having trees and shrubs shipped to you from online growers, even with the added cost of shipping.

Outstanding Butterfly House and Zack, particularly is very knowledgeable! They then have nectar and host plants available right there and so one can be assured they have not been treated with a repellent.
