Our 4th visit! The Queens Inn never disappoints. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food is really good with something for eveyone. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, can't ask for more. I would highly recommend.

Disappointing. Steak was tasteless and the waitress was quite rude. There appeared to be quite a lot off the menu as well. Might be an off night given the other reviews, but I couldn't recommend based on this experience.

A wet Wednesday lunch time we were greeted with "you can't order food for the next 45 minutes". Although the service from other staff was very good.

Can't remember - had a cocktail and another but that was after 2 glasses of prosecco. Managed to get a table for drinking - it's an odd shaped bar for getting a gang of people together just to drink and giggle. Can't reserve a drinking table - we were lucky.

Popped in for a pint of cider, which was delicious. I did love the chaise longue in the ladies toilets or rather the Queen room, although I'm not sure I'd want to spend any more time than I have to in a toilet!

Lovely cute hotel with some nice renovated interiors. Would happily stay here again.

I had Sunday lunch with my friend today ;- she had roast lamb served with all the trimmings ;- it was served beautifully and tasted as nice as it looked ;- I had nicoise salad with fresh tuna and again i have to say it was one of the best salads I have ever had ---well done to the cook and the waiting staff who were very friendly -----today's visit was certainly worth 5 stars

Wonderful cottage styled chic rooms. Excellent customer service and great atmosphere. Stayed alone and felt completely safe.

First found this place while house hunting in the area. Weve now found an bought a house 10 mins away. Could this become the new local. Most probably.

Some places just get it right! The room we had (Room 4) was lovely with a king size bed. The food was delicious with breakfast included in the price. The drinks were reasonably priced. But most of all the staff were really lovely. Whoever the manager is of this place knows what they re doing by hiring friendly hard working staff who go out of their way to help you. Considering the fact also all the Covid restrictions the place was spotless and we felt safe. Well done Queens Inn. X

Located near High Weald AONB, this is a lovely old building,which has been tastefully turned into a hotel with well decorated and equipped rooms. The little touches like a cafetierre and real coffee with chocolate brownies in the room just add to an experience made whole by excellent, friendly staff, delicious food and a well stocked bar. Breakfast was particularly delicious and served until 10.00 allowing a lazy start if that's what suits. Would definitely stay again...

Had our wedding reception here. Service was outstanding, organisation from Lydia was simply superb. The rooms to stay overnight were stylish and beds enormous and comfy. Delicious food for the reception and breakfast the next morning. A wonderful experience from start to finish.

Lovely place with lots of character and original features. I was photographing wedding preparations there recently and really enjoyed it!

Outstanding food and great service. Decent selection of beer. Had a lovely Sunday roast here, both the meat and vegetarian options were really tasty. Recommended!

Disappointed. Reviews were good and on entering the Inn it looked very warm and welcoming. However the service was very slow, the food just okay but overpriced. It was a shame.

Really nice food and atmosphere. But the wait for the food was really long, about 50 minutes for main course. This is our second visit, which is why I rated it 4, taking into account our previous visit. Both times the food was good. The last time we were there, food was not super quick to the table but reasonable wait. This time round, tad slow. If I could, I would have rated this review 3.5 if I could -- 4 for the previous visit, 3 for today's visit.

Old restored English inn Rooms with a large bathroom but a little expensive for me. Correct breakfast

Very nice pub with great food. A little on the pricier side but worth it. What we didn't find overly clear is that the Charcoal Kitchen is a completely separate restaurant. So you can't order from both menu's at the same place. Will definitely return to try the like to try the CK. Nice decor inside

Stayed two nights and received a warm welcome from helpful staff. The ivy and wisteria clad Inn has plenty of character and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Bar snacks are available and there are two restaurants , where the food is well cooked and tasty. There is a large car park to the front of the pub and it is situated in a quiet location.

Clean and spacious rooms. Helpful friendly staff and good food . We felt very comfortable in this Inn which stayed for 3 nights.

Had the pleasure of an overnight stay at the delightful Queens inn celebrating our anniversary. The room we stayed in was stunning and absolutely spotlessly clean, and we even had some brownies waiting for us in our room along with tea and coffee facilities. Our evening meal was superbly delicious and to the highest standard, as was the breakfast the next morning. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and all staff were very friendly and helpful, will definitely be returning and would highly recommend.

Really great service. We immediately felt at home and special at the same time. The rooms are very very comfortable (nice big bed!). We really enjoyed breakfast and dinner too!

Excellent pub! The food is fantastic, service is excellent and very good choice of beers. They even got a gin menu! They also open the Charcoal kitchen where they serving great pizzas!
