Server Alicia is awesome...my Potato skins were mostly burnt...very busy did not want to wait for another order...soooooo....I ate 3 of 4 of the very crunchy burnt thing's...immediayely brought to servers attention...she agreed. Told Mgr...who we never saw (20+ yrs in food in beverage management I always personally took care of issues) Anyhoo...he discountef $2.50....smh.

We thoroughly enjoyed our food! The lobster burger was fantastic. My friend had the coconut shrimp that she really enjoyed. My daughter loved the bento box. My dad loved his burger and my mom loved her calamari! Great food! This is also a nice restaurant for the view of the ocean and it s fun to watch people on the pier right beside of it. There is a nice bar and lots of outdoor seating. Ask for Joshua, he was a wonderful waiter! This restaurant is better for groups of four or smaller but there is some seating for a couple of large groups. If the weather is not nice outside I recommend calling ahead to check on the wait.

It was so good..Bartender "Marty" excellent service.. Food was very good..we had a great evening and will be back. I ordered the special which was a Dragon Roll..it was delicious..
Food was ok but at the end of the meal a cockroach crawled on my friend's arm on the table we were offered a discount on our meal I was completely sick at the sight of it. I understand its on the water and all but that's nasty. Dont think we will go back on the plus side super cool server.
I ordered the blackened grouper sandwich, the bottom bun was completely soggy. Between that, a pasta dish, and 4 beers... My bill was over $80, wow that's expensive. Our original plans were to go to melting pot, but it's expensive, so we went to a place we thought would be cheaper, it wasn't... Just the quality of food and establishment went down, not the price. I regret not spending the money at melting pot, now there's a nice restaurant, with superb service, and excellent quality of food. Quarterdeck's pricing doesn't justify the establishment, service, or quality of food... It's beach pricing, that's it. Step your game up, with such a beautiful location it's a shame you're dropping the ball.

Just a normal American food house... would be a great view during the day. Brink a jacket and if you have kids they stuck you in one only area where other kids scream a lot. Link of a box... I would not come back there. I prefer to eat at Nicks on Hollywood boardwalk 1/2 of the price, good food

Well...the day was beautiful...Catalina was really amazing...we have been going to Quarterdeck in Sunrise for years but stopped because the food and the service went down hill seriously! We go to the one on Dania Beach rarely only because of time issues. We love being on the water and it's beautiful and relaxing. My sister took me there today because I have been ill and needed to get out of the house. It was really nice until we dealt with Alicia (not sure if I spelled it right) let's just say she was rude and nearly ruined a lunch with my mom and sister because of her bad attitude. We always are pleasant and tip well but in this instance we were so upset about our experience with her! Yes, my sister wasn't happy with her meal....but she was completely unprofessional and rude...so unnecessary! So we made sure Catalina got the tip because she was so nice and helpful! The food was okay but being on the water was really nice. Don't think we will go back anytime soon.

While visiting my family in Hallandale,I sugested we go to Dania beach area by the pier for a bite.I last visited area in May 2012.There was a Greek Restaurant there at the time.
To my great surprise I found a Gem of a Restaurant.During my 17 day stay in the area I patronized many so called great restaurants in the area and I was disappointed.The Quarterdeck quickly became my favorite.I enjoyed their fine menu on three separate occasions.I enjoyed the sushi,Philly tuna sandwich,and my favorite Grouper fillet in garlic lemon sauce with a side of kimchi sauce.and the octopus salad with cucumbers in kimchi sauce was amazing.Staff was very efficient,attentive and helpful.5 stars.

Gabriel provided terrible service. Had to cancel 2 drink orders 26 minuets after ordering and we were completely done with our entree. He was too busy flirting with the other waitresses. He is obviously high. Food was decent.

The view of course is very beautiful!... But please do something about all those flies. Very frustrating if you're planning to eat outside with so many flies buzzing around your food. I wish the shrimp were fresh sea shrimp instead of from the local Winn-Dixie eww...

Views and food were amazing! Our waitress Lex gave great recommendations not only what to eat and drink at Quarterdeck, but also what to do and where to go for the rest of our trip. She made sure our entire experience was the best possible.

Quarterdeck Restaurant in Dania Beach is an awesome place to get a meal with a great view of the water. The restaurant is on the pier so there is plenty of water around you to see anyplace you sit. I like the outdoor bar as you get plenty of fresh air while being cool in the shade. The drinks and food here are great as everything I tried was good. The staff here works hard and hustles to make sure that you have everything you need and have a good meal. I like the vibe and atmosphere of the place as it is very laid back and relaxed. Overall this place has it all and is worth a visit.

the food was decent but my issue was with the waiter who took my money and purposely never returned thinking the whole change was for him. highly aggravated me, bring me my change and i will tip myself or leave it on the table.
Came here with the family after fishing at the pier. We enjoyed sitting in the patio and having cocktails. My husband enjoyed his tuna philly and I loved the sushi! Kids were happy as well!
The food was nothing out of this world price was too high for quality of food, we wanted to seat outside to enjoy the ocean but they have a bee problem by the bar so wait until the sun goes down then the bees go away. It was OK not great.

Never again! We went for Valentine's day. The place was packed. Someone lost track of us or something. We ordered conch and octopus appetizers,, and burgers for the meal. The appetizers never showed up. Neither did the server once they got our order. After 45 min or so someone came out of the kitchen in a bad mood, put down 3 plates of cold food and ran. We talked to management, who apologized and just asked us if we wanted to leave. We did. I can handle poor food on a busy night but not bad service followed by bad attitude.
Food was good but alcoholic beverages were just straight up nasty and musty tasting. Had a strawberry mojito with "mint leaves". Those mint leaves looked super wilted and almost tasted like cilantro. Did not taste like strawberry.
Nice place the $17.00 appetizer hurricane roll which is lobster was fried and very dry not good don't waste your money on that.

The food has improved, The views are breathtaking and memorable. I would love to see them rebuild and reconfigure this landmark restaurant to turn this into a go to destination that is comfortable for customers as well as their employees in and out of the kitchen.
#latepost This was my first stop on my first trip to FL. I'm from CA but the water had me mesmerized as I sat and ate. The food was great. Thinking about the oysters on that trip has me posting a review 15 months later. I enjoyed it. The staff was super friendly.
Bar tender was inattentive and threw the contents of an almost empty drink on the floor which made me look at the floor behind the bar...absolutely disgusting. The bus boy cleaned food off of plates with his bare hands then appeared carrying glasses with his fingers inside the rim .
