I was taking photos in ripped jeans and they thought I was homeless and chased me away. Years ago I served a mission for them in Oakland California. I was taking pictures of the flowers with my Nikon D3300 and they thought I stole the camera. I came back on Sunday the next day after the wedding parties chased me away and took my shots of the lovely flowers. I have not returned since.

This is such a beautiful, Spiritual place to visit. Whether you are LDS or not, the grounds are stunning and so peaceful. There are tons of flowers, a park and it's very close to other locations downtown.

The restoration on the Provo Tabernacle was executed exquisitely. The exterior was preserved well and the construction quality is top notch. Though it is now a religious building open only to members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, it provides a magnificent addition to the downtown Provo area. A visitor center is located on the property and staff members are friendly. Underground parking is available and provides access to both the temple and the visitor center. The grounds are maintained to near perfection all year long and anyone is allowed to stroll the pathways around the temple. Overall, it's a very peaceful place and a great addition to Provo City.

The description says LDS church, but this is actually a temple, it's a great place to go and just feel peaceful, it has beautiful architecture, carefully manicured grounds, and the inside is even better, I would reccomend a visit

Such a special building. The restored heritage of this building make it the heart of the city of Provo.
I simply love going here, I know that it's a place where families can be sealed together forever.

Are you kidding? I love every temple experience. And with the storied building from which the Provo Town Center Temple was born how can I not have an incredible soft spot for this sacred place. I hope you are planning on enjoying a visit, and may you feel the wonderful spirit that is there.

This building was a originally a Tabernacle, but a fire devastated it. The LDS Church turned it into a Temple. If you are LDS and have the proper recommend you can go into the temple. Otherwise you will have to stay outside. There are lovely gardens, water fountain, statues, etc.. on the grounds. It has a lot of it's historical elements in the architecture and grounds. The Provo City Center Temple is in the heart of Downtown Provo. There are a lot of restaurants and shops to choose from within 10 mins walking from the temple. Whether you are LDS or not you are welcome to use the grounds for photo's. It's a great place to take family, senior, wedding and many more photo shoots.

I can NOT express how beautiful the Provo City Center Temple is! Whenever I am in it, I can hardly believe it was a tabernacle before the fire. I never want to leave this beautiful edifice once I am in it! It is by far my favorite temple! Great place to be on any given day!

Beautiful temple and outdoor area. The back part of the temple is always open to visit and sit around at all times. It s a safe, lit location with great history. If you re passing through take some time to visit the back area on center street. There is a pretty statue and lots of open space. On the other side there is a visitor s Center open during the day.
