Grounds are unique and beautiful. A great place to sit and rest after the hustle and bustle of Center Street.
I love to visit this place. I try to visit here about once a week. It a gorgeous building filled with the spirit and sacred things.
I was taking photos in ripped jeans and they thought I was homeless and chased me away. Years ago I served a mission for them in Oakland California. I was taking pictures of the flowers with my Nikon D3300 and they thought I stole the camera. I came back on Sunday the next day after the wedding parties chased me away and took my shots of the lovely flowers. I have not returned since.
Heaven on Earth! Please qualify to enter the temple with a recommend and continue to maintain that recommend forever. You will never regret it or find anything more affirming!
This is such a beautiful, Spiritual place to visit. Whether you are LDS or not, the grounds are stunning and so peaceful. There are tons of flowers, a park and it's very close to other locations downtown.
It was peaceful and I have always loved the atmosphere there.
The restoration on the Provo Tabernacle was executed exquisitely. The exterior was preserved well and the construction quality is top notch. Though it is now a religious building open only to members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, it provides a magnificent addition to the downtown Provo area. A visitor center is located on the property and staff members are friendly. Underground parking is available and provides access to both the temple and the visitor center. The grounds are maintained to near perfection all year long and anyone is allowed to stroll the pathways around the temple. Overall, it's a very peaceful place and a great addition to Provo City.
The description says LDS church, but this is actually a temple, it's a great place to go and just feel peaceful, it has beautiful architecture, carefully manicured grounds, and the inside is even better, I would reccomend a visit
My favorite temple. So elegant. Most importantly very peaceful.
I just wanted to be the only 2 star. 20/20 is a temple
Such a special building. The restored heritage of this building make it the heart of the city of Provo.
I simply love going here, I know that it's a place where families can be sealed together forever.
Beautiful place... the flowers made the place more beaitiful...
Neat building. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints did an amazing job at rebuilding it after the tabernacle burnt down.
Beautiful! Love how pretty the grounds are. Peaceful place to walk around with the family
So so gorgeous. I was so happy to be Sealed for all time and eternity to my husband here.
Beautiful architecture, history, sight and situation! If you can make it inside, beautiful interior design as well.
Such a great house of the lord I enjoy the exerence of going to the Provo CIty Center Temple
The City Center Temple is so great! I am a member and all of the temples are so great and wonderful!
Are you kidding? I love every temple experience. And with the storied building from which the Provo Town Center Temple was born how can I not have an incredible soft spot for this sacred place. I hope you are planning on enjoying a visit, and may you feel the wonderful spirit that is there.
Exquisitely transformed from ashes into a beautiful House of the Lord.
Wonderful place to be. Just walking the grounds you feel really peaceful.
A modern-day temple built like the old-school temples wonderful beautiful Majestic
It has a very rich heritage, I can still remember hearing the fire engines the night the Tabernacle caught fire.
I love this temple because of feeling of serene environment around the building and within it's walls. I am always uplifted after visiting this wonderful place.
I love that they saved some of the original materials from the burnt building. I was very impressed with the architecture and the overall feeling there. It is the House of the Lord
One of the most beautiful temples we've ever gone to. We love it here!
If only this was true, I would continue to enter. Beautiful building though.
They did such a beautiful job restoring this building! It's the most physically lovely Temple I've been to.
I have had the privilege of working as a worker in the temple of Panama, volunteer in San Diego, and Orlando. How could I work at the Provo Center Temple. Is beautiful.
Absolutely gorgeous temple! The grounds are beautiful to walk around and it's lovely inside.
Beautiful and serene, a perfect place to contemplate what's really important in life.
So beautiful! I love all of the hardwood details. Very well done.
This building was a originally a Tabernacle, but a fire devastated it. The LDS Church turned it into a Temple. If you are LDS and have the proper recommend you can go into the temple. Otherwise you will have to stay outside. There are lovely gardens, water fountain, statues, etc.. on the grounds. It has a lot of it's historical elements in the architecture and grounds. The Provo City Center Temple is in the heart of Downtown Provo. There are a lot of restaurants and shops to choose from within 10 mins walking from the temple. Whether you are LDS or not you are welcome to use the grounds for photo's. It's a great place to take family, senior, wedding and many more photo shoots.
This temple is simply amazing. The woody furnitures inside are super beautiful.
I can NOT express how beautiful the Provo City Center Temple is! Whenever I am in it, I can hardly believe it was a tabernacle before the fire. I never want to leave this beautiful edifice once I am in it! It is by far my favorite temple! Great place to be on any given day!
Beautiful temple and outdoor area. The back part of the temple is always open to visit and sit around at all times. It s a safe, lit location with great history. If you re passing through take some time to visit the back area on center street. There is a pretty statue and lots of open space. On the other side there is a visitor s Center open during the day.
