Horrible collection agency. The phone numbers that are listed might as well not work because it s not answered by anyone. I m thinking about taking a trip to this office to speak with someone in person and maybe then I ll get the response I m looking for.

They have filed judgements, won't answer any requests for information, they received a cease and desist order and immediately filed papers AGAIN with court to collect. I won't stop. I'm suing them for pain and suffering, giving false information, stolen identity, and I WILL win. They have been fined by consumer financial protection bureau and ftc. When will this stop?

I have dealt with Michael at extension at 5502, several times. On each occasion he explained matters thoroughly and he was kind and pleasant each time we spoke. I would recommend their service.

Michael of ext 5502 was very helpful and able to satisfy all my questions and issues.

Of course this place is tough - they are debt collectors.
Basically they told me as long as I made a 12 month payment plan to pay off my debts, they wouldn't bother me. I mailed them a check every month and never received harassing phone calls from them. This month (my 12th payment) and I am done with them. Just give them what they want and they won't bother you.

In my experience the individuals that work for this company are the most rude and unprofessional people to have ever existed. They shout at people, hang up on them and are just terrible. No one should allow them to do business on their behalf in my opinion.

I feel that they have some paralegals that are nice and some that are mean, I always feel like I am being belittled by then whenever I call and they can see that I have made payment arrangements and I have been paying since the agreement started.

It's nearly impossible to get anyone to answer the phone at this place.

These people don't answer the phones just leave you sitting on hold for 30 minutes at a time and then hang up on you just to call again and have thesame thing happen over and over again no help what so ever

I wish I could rate this business 0 stars. The people on the phone are the MOST RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL people I have ever dealt with... I think you should revamp your business and hire all new people.

Do not trust this company or give them money they are legal loan sharks and have the doctors on speed dial. Set up a payment plan and was paying more than the amount and they put a judgement against me anyway. I paid the balance in full and it took over a year to show it was paid. When I called to get the phone number for the bill they gave me a non working number and insisted I needed to pay right away. They should have their license revoked talk about crooked lawyers.

they are hard to get a hold of. if I do, I get bad attitudes and bad service. they can not be trusted. if they offer help, I call back and been told more than once I was miss informed. I have called to pay off my debt but it keeps getting put on the back burner. they have some racket going on there. I'm sure they are in for me more on man hours then what I owe. they should be investigated..

WOW! You had better have the money to pay these guys in a hurry-including those little "extras" nobody mentioned until you got the bill. They sued me and had my car taken when we were still in discussion about all the little additions they put on my bill. Needless to say, I wasn't happy about their very expensive bill for a rather poor effort on my behalf. Boy, I lost more than the case!

Should be ZERO stars! Absolutely the worst company ever! Zero customer service always rude and nasty! They only care about money! I paid my balance to them and they expect me to pay the courts to close it out! You sued me, why should I have to pay to close the case? They are a bunch of blood sucking leaches and an absolute disgusting company!!

What do you call two Presslers at the bottom of the ocean? Water pollution. The lowest of the low, bottom-feeding cheeseball debt collectors, lawyers who just didn't have the talent or smarts to practice real law. Their offices are dirty and smell weird and everyone working there wishes they had a better real job.

I spoke with your representative, Mr Milan. That was the ONLY person I needed to speak to. He is knowledgeable, professional and beyond easy to work with. I can not emphasize how easy it was for a difficult situation.

They don t make it easy to make your payment. I guess so you can default and they file for judgment.

Its a debt collector which noone likes. For the most part they are professional. Not like some that you like to tell to screw off. And probably a lot of other expletives.

They violate so many debt collection laws. Know the law and fight back, drag them to court for every little thing! Strength in numbers!

Nj 2a:17-19 protects first 1k in your account they bank on you not knowing that! Use it! Stand up to them!

They stole $2053 for an old debt & it wasn t my debt. I m a victim of identity theft who was screwed over by these snakes. They re the worst debt collectors to deal with. They need to be sued for everything that they own & to lose their license permanently. They don t care if you become homeless due to the amount of money that they garnish from you. These debt collection laws need to change because there is no protection for identity theft victims. Filing a police report isn t going to stop the wage garnishment.

I am impressed with your updated collection techniques. You stopped wasting your time and money calling debtors. I spoke to a collection representative and we both agreed that the a debt will be repaid when the debtor rebuilds their credit and has a corporate career. The debt willa lot easier to collect.

Well of course no one wants to give them a good rating, but I had no issuse. Wait time to get someone on the phone was about 6 minutes, the guy who took care of my case ask me to give an offer first, I did, and of course I went extremely low, he put me on hold and came back with a reasonable offer. I accept and he explained to me everything. He said once I got my letter from them I could report it myself to my credit report, so it could go on faster, he explain its the typical thing to do. The person who took care of me was not nasty or rude in anyway.

Total douchbags-to put it nicely . I called to make payment arrangements and the guy was not helpful , not understanding and rude!!!

After settling my case several years ago and sending me letter. They sold my case to a collection agency(NVLV) as unpaid . And you guessed it, I can't find the letter. Now the collection company is demanding a payment in full.
I call Pressler and Pressler. The answer I got was we closed your case, then sent it back to the original collection agency..I said I hope telling them it was closed.
She said we don't know... I guess I'm screwed...Heads up: I should have saved the letter for 20 years here in NJ. that's how long they have to keep harassing you, if you can't prove with a cancelled check or a judgement letter.
I entend to contact the NJ State Attorney General's Office about this, this has to stop.

Unprofessional staff that likes to threaten and intimidate

Word customer service, they treat you like criminals over the phone. Very rude and messed up company.

Fraudulent company used to collect medical debt after an agreement was made with surgical center. This company supports insurance fraud and is highly unethical. The insurance company changed medical billing codes to accumulate a higher payout for a surgery that didn t help. In doing so my out of pocket changed without my knowledge. It s sad you tell the surgical center that if it s going to cost more I refuse to do the surgery. See you lowlifes in court for the lawsuit.

Calling is a nightmare. On hold for 12 minutes, they say systems problems call back later. I call later, on hold 21 minutes and they just hang up. How companies like this can be in business in 2021 is beyond me. Literally calling to pay off my debt and can t even get through.

Again on hold this morning simply trying to pay my balance in full so our wages are no longer garnished and be done with Pressler. Cant get through. No matter when I call, I can t get through. Filing complaint with NJ Attorney General today.

Digna (ext 5455) was very helpful. She treated me with respect and was very understanding, warm, and friendly. She was able to help me resolve the matter, while accommodating my limited resources. She's a very kind soul in a sometimes cruel world.

I had been trying to negotiate my debt for a while and Discover Card wasn't whiling to negotiate. after I lost my job I had to choose credit cards or pay my mortgage. Today I spoak we a great person who felt empathy for me and helped me to seal my debt. His name is Milan Ext5471

Milan, (#5471) was so wonderful and fair with helping me in these difficult times with my payment agreement. I've called Pressler, Felt, and Warshaw many times and have not had as great a customer experience as with him. We all know that we're dealing with a debt collector; why make it more difficult in collecting a payment than it has to be? Thank you for all of the help with Milan.

Do not pay them they took 875.00 fromme stating them a letter will be sent . that did not happen scams and lies.

This firm is the most unprofessional lying bunch of collectors. I had identity thief which was $285.00 the principal was it was not my debt, and it was from about 20 some years ago. They claim they contact you then go to court to garnish your wages without you having any knowledge of the court date. You realize it when the money is coming out of your pay check. I fought this for a year sending all the information of my residence and police report etc. Then you finally get to deal with the court and they are clueless on any of the information you have sent them on your behalf, or even reviewing any of the documents sent before talking to you. It is like the court benefits if they have you lose your case. I believe they probably have a office next to the garnishment court room. It is ashame the justice system runs in the manner it does and doesnt see who the real guilty party is. There is no justice anymore how sad is that...

Atrocious professionalism. They file with insufficient information and fail to properly review documents. They take people to court, harassing them to pay bills that have not been substantiated. They claim they sent a first letter to a friend of mine that was was never received. They lie, harass and bully people into paying bills that they do not owe.

This Law Firm is nothing but a scam. They are going after my Husband for a debt he already paid them in full 10 years ago when they were just known as "Pressler & Pressler". Now, after a month of being known as Pressler, Felt, & Warshaw out of no where they want more $$$ for a debt that was paid in full back in 2011, and I might add the actual debt was incurred back in 1997 over 20 years ago. These people are not a legitimate company and I will be reporting them as such. Anyone dealing with them should also report them as a scam they are taking hard advantage of people trying to get money they are not owed. I did not want to put a star either by the way but in order to post your review you have to give a star, they deserve nothing. They are hoping you will cave and pay with their bullying techniques. They can't fool me and don't let them fool you.

I've dealt with several credit collectors as I have several credit cards from college and none have been as disrespectful, difficult, or inconvenient as Pressler and Pressler. I paid off two accounts for the full amount and they took months to report it to the original creditor; they often make mistakes in processing payments; and the paralegals are rude, flippant, and unprofessional. They have recently made it so you can only pay them with a physical check, which many people in debt do not have, only to make debtors' lives even more difficult. I have made every single payment to them on time for the one small account I have left and every time I call I'm treated as subhuman by the obnoxious children who work at their call center. Having to deal with a collection company is bad enough, but the people at Pressler & Pressler treat you like a criminal rather than someone who had college expenses that got away from them (the irony of course being that none of them are in any debt because none of them even got an education). I'm almost paid off, but if you get a letter from these arrogant monsters, hire your own lawyer. It will be money well spent.

Wish I can give zero stars twice this company is a waste of space and so are the people working their I didnt find out about anything from this company until they had already started to garnish my checks then went to court to try and fight it and they told me I can't cause it was too late I was also told by the court clerk that this company does this everyone and that it's against the law so if its against the law why does the judge continue to keep signing off on these garnishments and is the judge really paying attention

Pressler and Pressler are the worst. They buy debt that is already discharged from bankruptcies and come after you for it. The Burlington county court system should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this but instead they continue to put through their corrupt paperwork and fillings. They should never be allowed to sue when they are not legally holding any contract. The civil courts are to blame.
