Great atmosphere. Decent service. Good music. An all around good time

I ABSOLUTELY adore this place, it's so stinking cute! The beverages are just as cute. I'll have to try some food the next time I go in. I had an issue with finding my server one time, but it was a really busy night, so that's almost to be expected.

Absolutely stunning. Every section is a whole new experience. The drinks are great and reasonably priced. Great for daytime & nightlife drinking. Conveniently located in the heart of Montrose.

Food is good but the drinks are great. They take the time to make each drink worth the wait. The music is good and atmosphere is also very lively. Good for friends or a date.

Sophie is amazing! I had the best time tonight at the bar by myself, ordered a couple delicious and fashionable drinks and had a great talk with the bartender! Such a fun environment that welcomed me to Houston!

One of the cutest bars in Houston! Went on a Thursday night and had a lot of fun. Can only imagine the crowds on a weekend. I loved the entire design inside and outside of the bar. The drink specials were good and can t wait to return!

Great lil bar area in the Montrose area of Houston. Was disappointed at first as no one greeted me when I walked in and went to seat myself outside. Waited 10 minutes before someone came up to see if I needed anything. After that service food and drinks were great!

We gave it a try, expensive for the vibe, no parking, valet is almost mandatory. The "happy hour" prices don't get honored when they bring the check, we also had our waitress add extra gratuity onto our bill... which is theft... management was less than helpful in getting part of the fraud removed and argumentative about the rest of it. They lost customers over a few dollars. We won't be going back on principle and from what I've heard from others our experience isn't unique. I'll wait a couple months and try the next bar when they inevitably go out of business. Very disappointed. EDIT: The manager has been conducting a social media campaign and claims he addressed issues but it doesn't change the fact that he harbors waitresses who are thieves and increase their tips beyond what is written on the sheet. He then tried to make excuses for said waitress... that to me is inexcusable. I think he's lucky the fraud wasn't reported to the credit card company, I don't think they'd rule in his favor.

It was ok.. I came here with my fiance and it was pretty crowded but when found a table soon as we came in, it took about 15 to 20 minutes before anyone came to us and my fiance had to get someone's attention for that. it is an outside environment so come correctly dressed. When we ordered the waitress didn't ask if we wanted to open a tab she just said I need a card to start your tab which kind of bothered me but whatever I still gave it to her.. our food and drinks came out quick. We ordered the fried green beans and a burger with truffle fries and it was good ..overall it seemed like an ok spot just the few things that I mentioned bothered me.

This is one great spot with one big problem in Houston, where everyone drives, - parking. Door staff are friendly, waiters are friendly, and helpful. I was here twice and really enjoyed my stay. Great music, cool decor, two levels, patio, big palm tree looking sign, and a polished steel windbreaker RV just for kicks. Amazing!

Present Company is a large combination restaurant and bar with abundant seating on multiple levels, including outdoor seating. The visual appeals of this restaurant are unmistakable, and you will notice them immediately. From the colorful chairs on the patio to the light fixtures that look like bird cages, Present Company takes on a look all its own.

With the food, Present Company features a limited menu consisting of appetizers, salads, pizza, burgers, and sandwiches. They also have a popular brunch menu available on weekends. Many who frequent Present Company order a pizza and pair it with one of the specialty drinks, wine, or beer. They have a good selection of drinks and the food easily passes my tests for quality. I like to visit here for the drinks more than anything, but the food does have its merits.

Present Company doesn't offer much in the way of parking. Their lot is small and if you choose to use it, you will have to valet. If you want to avoid the price of valet, there are other places you can park in the area that are only a short walk away. I prefer to park on a side street and then walk over, just to save some cash which I can then use on another drink.

Present Company is a fun place overall and it's one of the larger restaurant/bars in the area. I like the multiple levels and the different bars and with so many eye- catching accompaniments and people watching opportunities, you never get bored. Pay a visit and see for yourself!

The pizza i had was great. Flavor was all there specially from the cheese. Drinks were made well and the atmosphere was overall welcoming.

So the Present Company, if your one of them that love to take photos for the Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and ex.. then this is the place for you. It has so many spot to take photos and grab a drink at the same time. I came here for my birthday and I was so surprised of the place. Every corner you turn there's something different. So yasss! Check out this place. I'll won't post so much photo of this place so you can discover it your self.

Bartender ignored us, talked to his friends, served a free shot to a friend than asked "are yall good?" We had been standing there for awhile and had newly arrived so how could we be good? Staff were trying to leave clearly by making it very uncomfortable to be there, collecting all the chairs around us, locking everything up but it was 11pm. We asked if they were closing and they said no, they close at midnight. We went inside at 11:30p to order our last drink and close out. And as soon as we got up they took our chairs and locked them up with a chain lock so we couldnt sit back down. Seriously very awkward. We left and walked across the street to my friends house and while we were chatting outside the bartender showed up at the bar nearby with his bar back and commented "looks like yall found yourself another bar" very snidely. We were confused on why he was talking to us like that and I just commented back "no he lives here" and he was like "you dont remember me? I just made your drinks." I just repeated myself bc I clearly remembered him since it was shortly before this and he was so rude. He just laughed at us and went inside the bar. I'm embarrassed that I even spent money at this establishment and that he received a tip from us. Clearly a rude human being and a disgrace to the service industry.

Love the drinks and wings here. Must visit if you like bright and vibrant places

Man it was fire!!

I was so excited to try out this place since I saw it on Instagram. But was so disappointed of their services. The host was not so friendly and tried to seat us at an OCCUPIED table (Despite the 6ft apart rule) even though there was so many empty tables around. Give it a 3 stars thanks to the vibe and decoration

An instagrammers wet dream. A millennials heaven. This place is all about aesthetics. The drink prices arent any better or worse than average. Though they do have something with those lacroix drinks.

The burgers here are amazing. Portions are more than enough and I will definer be back. Also, I wish I could buy the flamingo fanny packs they're so cool!

Present Company is great. It was worth the wait to see how this place has been transformed. They have great food and drinks with excellent service. Go early because they get busy.

No handicap parking available! I pulled up with my father who is disabled and asked the valet where we could park with our tag. He said we don't offer handicapped parking pay 10 dollars. They gave me a peach ticket after I paid to claim my car! Horrible! I am actually going to make a formal complaint with the disabilities commission.

Good place to get a drink. Lots of space inside and out. Good selection of drinks. Young crowd getting smashed and taking selfies but a fun place to be. Parking... Not cheap but then why do people drive to get drinks when it's so easy to get an Uber. Around 01:00 and the car park had filled right up . Would recommend a visit.

The vibe here was upscale. DJ kept the beat rolling. The service was fast and the waiter was friendly. Would definitely recommend.

The valet people just attacked one of the uber drivers last Saturday jan 5th 2019 and i heard the Uber company gonna sue the the bar, what a bad management, the driver was sprayed in his eyes, attacked and punched inside his car from the valet worker in front of everybody and the passengers were also affected by the paper spray. i will never go back there ever

Nobody pay attention to the costumers.. I've been there 3 times just because the place its nice and hoping the service will be better every time but no. The servers take houurss to get back at you. They're in bad mood and its just annoying

My Saturday night here was awesome. Both floors were well laid out, and had indoor and outdoor seating. We had a few drinks downstairs, before making our way to the upstairs patio. This allowed me to scope out the place to get a good feel of the general atmosphere. Each floor had a bar, and also the servers walked by often to check if we needed anything. The crowd was mostly young and fun. It appeared priority entry was given to those who used their valet parking service. So if you self park, or arrive with a rideshare, be sure to pack your patience as well until you're allowed to enter. Overall, this was a great hangout for the service, drinks and ambience.

OMG the Truffle fries... reminds me of one of my nights in Toronto! I had not tasted any as good as those until I came to Present Company. The patio is awesome and huge christmas tree at the moment looks wonderful! I will for sure come out here more often.

I Wish I could give this place -negative stars. Walked into the place in middle of day. Around 1:00 The place was empty. Was going there to discuss bringing business. I was totally blown off. Managers told me they were busy Really. No one was there. This is top notch horrible customer service. The owner needs to replace his staff. Its no way can any business have this much bad representation . I was even thinking eating at the place. No there s no way in hell would I even give them a chance. No I see why this place has quite a bit of bad reviews.

Yes the atmosphere is beautiful however the drink selection is small also it even seemed my drink didn't even have any alcohol to begin with and the food was awful, half the chips were stale, pizza drenched in oil with no flavor. Waitress was great.

Great food. Terrible service. Waited a while to order our food. When food came only saw the waitress 1 time. Every time we asked her for something she took 10 minutes to come back with our item. When we first arrived at our table she took a card to put it for the tab. when we wanted to pay for the check, we wanted to split. Then she said he just charged the 1 card. Didn't ask how we wanted it .

From the person who brought you Pistolero's, Stone's Throw, and now defunct Royal Oak, Present Company is the new hot spot in the heart of Montrose. Present Company sits on top of location what was Royal Oak, they almost rebuild it from top to bottom. Now, this place is more 'Miami' vibe with neon signs, great outdoor patio seatings, and upstairs patio and downstairs patio, and great cocktails on the menu.

First thing first, they only have the parking lot for valet only or ride service drop offs. If you drove and want to do self-park, either the parking lot they have across the street or street parking but beware of where you parking in that area. Once you're in, there's stairs to go upstairs, the downstairs bar and patio. Present Company expanded the size of the patio compared to Royal Oak so it makes the place feel bigger. On the second floor, there's also a bar up there along with canopy seatings for group of 10 or more on the patio.

The cocktail drinks that's on the menu is intriguing and delightful. I tried the Stranger Danger, a cocktail that's served in a La Croix aluminum can, makes the drink, somehow feel more refreshing. The other ones I tried were Don't Tell The Butcher, Plan Bee, and The Whispering Eye and all of them have it's own unique flavor and presentation. They also have a food menu and I ordered the chips and guac and that wasn't too bad either, a bit salty but pretty good!

There is also a small pool table in the back downstairs patio, it's first come, first serve. The indoor have a decent amount of seats to nudge around. The service is so far so good and great attitude behind the bar. Now if you open a tab downstairs, it is not transferrable to getting drinks upstairs and vice versa. Even on a warm evening here in Houston, you don't feel too hot on the patio right now thanks to the good air circulations.

I had a great night at Present Company and was pleased with the drinks and food. The restroom is pretty nifty with the wallpaper on the ceiling. I would certainly come back to this place to try the other cocktails on the menu or partake either on the happy hour or their nice brunch menu.

Good bar/restaurant. Parking the hardest part. The valet staff is really rude. But once you get in, you will love it. Great decorations, nice staff, small menu with great bites (appetizers are a must) and a nice selection of beers and cocktails. The Company Burger is delicious! Love the place!

The drinks and atmosphere are very redeeming here, but the slow service and bland food are disappointing. Some of the worst food I ve had in Houston. Don t waste your calories on the food! The servers are very nice though.

I was really excited about this place, heard they had good drinks. Went out with some friends and when I went to the bar to get a rum and coke, I was charged $25 and then another $10 for another drink. I was really irked by that. Like if you charge $25 to open a tab wouldn t it make sense to charge that $10 to that $25 that was already taken? It really was a rip off. Makes me sad cause the drinks were good and the place was cool but now I will never go back. Don t want to have another $45 snatched from me.

It was a pretty chill place. Love the patio spaces upstairs and down. I was just there for drinks and the bartender and staff were really nice. The crispy green beans were on point too. $10 Valet only parking if parking on site.

Place is very cute, can t complaint about the drinks, apparently they are short staff because the waitress that was serving our table was rushing but I could tell that it wasn t her fault she was trying to do her best, pricing is just as other places.

The one thing that y all need to be very careful is parking in the parking lot right across from this location (parking lot belongs to present company) don t leave any values, the night we went someone broke into 3 vehicles including my boyfriends, they stole my wallet, Apple Watch, and some other items that were not value including personal documents and apple airpods as we were waiting for the police to make a police report I did notice that there is a lot of homeless and people in drugs walking up and down the street. The parking lot area is pitch black it has an open entrance and open exit , there is no security around. We didn t do the valet parking because we didn t have no cash on hand so if you ever go get you a $20 bill and do valet so no one else has to go trough this .

To the owners of present company : I suggest to add light to the parking lot area that will help to keep this robbers out also will even help so much more to have a security officer, holidays are around the corner and Crime gets worse will be nice if y all take this suggestion in consideration if y all end up adding lights or hiring a security please advertise so costumers like me can go back and enjoy the drinks , music and environment.

Worst company service skills ever. Waiter Ivan was very disrespectful and was spilling our drinks all on the table. The female manager could care less from our complaint. Never will I return here.

Has the impossible burger and a few other vegetarian options. The decor is nice, lots of pretty lights. This place is more like an overpriced bar than a restaurant (cards you as you walk in and opens up a tab). There is a mandatory valet parking for $7. It increased to $10 when we were leaving ~30 mins later. Cash only, I think. Had an atm inside and a pool table. Lots of TV to watch games.

This place is cool. They drinks are kind of unique or at least how they serve them. It is a nice spot for happy hours. Their food is also pretty good. I tried a salad that was very tasty and my hubby got some wings. He said they were very yummy and he is kind of picky.

Do not go to Xavier !! He wants to be racist and doesn't ID white people which are his kind.. his excuse was, oh they have Grey hair and I know them.. really ??? Loll only wants to ID my kind which is MIDDLE EASTERN and wants to deny me because my ID is expired but I'm 30 years old! On top of that he wants to be rude about and say call whoever you want! I've been coming here for a while and never had a problem till he came in the front. Never again!!

Fun festive place. Cool way to serve drinks in lid-less cans. Could use some improvement on accoutrements served with basic food items that are otherwise tasty. Great decor, plant walls, atmosphere. Servers can have attitude.
