Sushi seemed over sauced and was stingy on the fish. Service was excellent.

This was our first visit to PK Sushi and we re glad we ventured out! We were greeted and seated promptly and offered a beverage right away. We both ordered a Bento Box. I had a #1 with the rock shrimp and my SO ordered the #2 with the California Roll. Plenty of food and very tasty!!! I like the ambiance and their selection of music. We will return for sure!!!

The sushi was good, service was good. I liked the "freaky edamame". They have options of a "grande" size for some of their more popular rolls which is nice because I often want just a little more when I order a normal sized roll elsewhere. They are very nice about substitutions with their rolls. I often go with coworkers and the one who does not eat sushi likes this place because of the chicken.

They were a tiny bit busy but I assume that's because they are so dang good. We still got our food quick. Their service is top-notch and the food phenomenal. This might be our new top favorite sushi restaurant to come to ever! Thanks PK!

This is the best sushi I've had in the Sacramento area. The wife and I make a point to come here for lunch at least once a month and love the crazy boy 2 roll. The staff is also very friendly and efficient. Overall an excellent experience every time we go.

Food is amazing, service...not to much. We've been here 3 times now, and 2 times they had forgotten my miso soup and my fiance's and my appetizer. And when my fiance asked for a fork to eat his bento box, every time they forget and I have to walk up to the register to grab it. I tipped the busser more than the waitress... every time we went, if I got up at all and wasn't going towards the bathroom he would approach me and ask if he could get me anything. Nice guy. Terrible waitresses, every time they are too busy chit chatting than to actually serve people their food.

Place was pretty good. Enjoyed the sushi, but they've changed their menu and pricing, etc. Super busy, usually.

Love the crab shack!! I Go here once a month with a friend..just for the crab shack. Love it. you wont be disappointed.

PK Sushi is best in Sacramento Area by far! Great prices for high end sushi! Always great food. Never a bad day/experience. Highly recommend!

We love the Pepperfin, Double Killer, 49er Roll, and the TNT. Those of us who don't like raw fish enjoy the All About the PK roll, as well as their udon and their kid's bento boxes.

My friends kid wanted food. It said it closed at 9, it was 8 so I drove here. I got the at 8:22. They said they closed at 8:30. I reminded them it was 8:22. They said "We're closing early today. "
I'm not coming back.

Great sushi with many unique rolls. I have yet to find a place in San Francisco that I like as much as PK for the same value of sushi.

So based on all these great reviews we tried this place last night 2/15/13. It was busy. but the staff was friendly and we were seated within 5 mins. The food came quick and looked nice, but after the first roll, they all started looking and tasting similar. WAY too much rice!!!! (one of their rules with all you can eat is that you have to eat ALL the rice or you get charged more) So much sauce is dumped on every roll that it looks like a orange nuclear meltdown with slop all over the plate. Not artistic, just sloppy in my opinion. We even tried a hand roll to get away from the sauce, but there was so much rice in it that I could not even find the fish. We also tried some raw tuna on rice and that piece of meat was super thick.... at least 1/4" thick and wasn't the best tuna either. I will not be going back, and I cant believe so many reviews on here were that good!!!

This place was terrible all around. The descriptions of the sushi sounded so great, but the actual end result was plain and almost close to inedible. The rice was dry and had no flavor and the tuna looked neon pink as clearly it had been dyed (I m actually not even sure it was tuna at all.) At least the manager refunded our money as we couldn t bring ourselves to eat it, although she wasnt interested in hearing our feedback and instead told us snidely maybe it just isn t for you. Correct. Fake, flavorless sushi at high prices certainly is not for us!

Best sushi in Rocklin. Way better than Mikuni.
I've been here at least 10 times, and have never had a bad experience. The atmosphere is good. The prices are good. And the food is delicious!

The staff here are perfectly friendly and professional, especially with our children. Very attentative, friendly and accommodating. The variety and freshness of the rolls, edemame, everything is delicious and always on point. We can't get enough!

I am a new guest at PK. Food is great, large selection, and, prices are fair for hand made sushi. Try it, you'll like it!!

Excellent sushi! This place is usually packed and for good reason. The owner has pushed the envelope in regards to his sushi creations and he's doing a phenomenal job.

I eat here a lot since I work right next to it. I have to say their service is always great and they keep the spot clean all the time. Pricing is reasonable and they serve generous portions.

Very disappointed - sushi rice roll was just sad looking with plain rice / no flavor whatsoever. Teriyaki chicken had the quality of Panda Express only twice the cost ! I don't understand the hype about that place.

Went for a family members bday and food was great and service was awesome. Handled our high size part and price was decent. Love their rolls!

Excellent food! The service is great and the price is generally cheap for quality sushi. Definitely a place to come to as a family, even for picky eaters.

Been coming here for 4 years and loved every visit until today. Apparently families are no longer welcome. So if your expecting to do a birthday party or enjoy your time with your family, expect a nasty comment from the owner. That your no longer welcome here and we don't need your business.

Awesome food, very nice staff members, constantly good character. They charge convenient pricing and the food quality is very good. I recommend this place.

For our family it's the "Go To" place for all our get together's & celebrations. Never disappointed!

Our go-to sushi place. Not the best sushi I have ever had, but solid, close to home and decent prices. If you go with the all-you-can-eat menu, it's easy to get your money's worth. You can only order AYCE if everyone in your party also orders it, so I don't always get it depending on who I am with. The regular menu is good. Staff is friendly.

I eat out over 600 times a year and this ranks right up there among the worst experiences. Went to place an order and was met with open animosity, as if I wasn't welcome at all. When I explained that I was leaving, the waitress responded with, "Ok bye." When asked to speak to the manager, she proclaimed, "I'm the owner." Very nasty!

It was very busy, but we had a relatively short wait time before we got a table, and didn't have to wait much at all once we were seated. Food was fantastic. I like the pepper fin 1 a lot.

Even with restrictions wait time was short. Food was amazing, sushi rolls that taste like heaven and are decently proportioned. Wait staff was attentive and we never went long between asking if everything was okay. Will definitely be going back
