I am not sure how they do it but these are the most tender, moist chicken fingers I have ever had - and I have eaten lots of fried chicken. The bowls, salads and chicken sandwiches are also great as that is what the family ordered. Service is always very fast and food tastes very fresh. For fast food the chicken is surprisingly fresh and flavorful. I used to order the basket since the fries are good too.

Food is really good, not quite great. Fair prices, good service.

Excellent scene for quality Chicken. Food was so delicious. Looking forward to returning with my relatives. Bring your appetite because portions are filling. This place has many good reviews for a reason.

Clean fast efficient i could not belive how great the chicken was and the sauces were to die for price was a little high but but better than chick filet by far and there open on sundayi will go to this restaurant again and again

I started out in the drive thru line. Wasn't moving in the 5 minutes I sat there so I decided to go in to order and eat.

I waited there for several minutes and a woman finally came to take my order. She didn't apologize for the wait and seemed quite grumpy, like I was interfering w something else she wanted to he doing. It looked like she had been in the dining area "cleaning" when I had the nerve to come in and order food.

The bowl I ordered was mediocre. I order the same bowl often from the PDQ in Carrollwood and it's delicious at that location.

The dining room was dirty. Everything I touched was sticky or foggy, like it was wiped down w a dirty cloth.

I give this location a "meh" at best. Won't go back here.

Good chicken meals from crispy sandwich's to grilled chicken salads. Good all rounder for something chicken and quick.

I enjoy the atmosphere that chicken are very delicious and tender with their fries they have salads and other things as well and it's very clean very open and a beautiful atmosphere

I never usually take the time out to do reviews but today started out great for my fiance and I. This location totally rocks!! There polite and friendly, quick and the quality of the food is beyond words. They interact and the manager OMG the manager Christopher he really made our experience enjoyable and I would definitely recommend. I live on the north end of Dale Mabry hwy but travelled all the way to the South end because it is always worth the trip!! Keep it up!!

Fantastic food ...everything I have tried has been good. And considering how the competitor down the street sends profits to anti-christian causes, PDQ also comes with a clean conscience.

Just recently found this place. One is at Pete is great too. Eat here! Their chicken, fries and sauces are great

This place suprised me, it was damn good for what is a "fast food" restaurant. I stopped in because every one I went by was crowded. Had a nice gyro type wrap, real good taste, sides and good price. They have a nice menu variety. Funky layout was clean and different. I wish hey had these where I live.

The food was served very quickly and was great. We experienced next-level customer service when our three year old dropped a toy behind the soda fountain. James took the time to help and worked for several minutes to fish out the toy, making our daughter very, very happy. Thanks again James!
Great food and even better customer service!

For the record this is our first time at PDQ, I have no affiliation or even know someone that works there. We drove 45 minutes to try it out since we heard good things and one is opening in our area shortly. It was worth the drive.
Upon pulling in we observed there is a fast food lane and an outdoor eating area like you might see at Wing House. They had water misting the area to keep it cool for outside patrons. The parking lot was spotless and the landscaping neatly done.

As we walked in there was a multi-person hand washing station which I thought was out of place but after using it to clean up before eating I realized how convenient it was not have to go into the restroom. It was a touchless station that was also neat and well kept. Maybe everyone should wash up before entering.
The kitchen area is open so you can see a lot of what is going on. The manager was present and clearly in charge. The decor is excellent. It is upscale, with natural light from high windows, wooden ceiling, great curves in the design and an effcient use of space.

I was a little surprised at the limited menu at first. If you don't want chicken, don't eat here. The menu is small and focused. It reminds me of the Five Guys menu which is a few items done very well. There were 3 of us eating and we had two chicken sandwich dinners and 1 chicken salad for under $24. We placed our order and went for drinks. The soda machines were the new style multi-mix it yourself kind which was nice. The ketchup dispenser was a built in unit under pressure probably feeding from a 5 gallon bucket. It pumped quickly and was an excellent flavor. Again the area was super clean and well kept.

We received our food in about 5 minutes and it was fresh and hot. The picture of the chicken sandwich shows there is little comparison to Chick-Fil-A (CFA) sandwich. The chicken itself was 35% larger than a CFA patty. It was nice to have more than 1 pickle, fresh lettuce, tomato and mayo already on my sandwich. I often leave CFA and am still hungry. That was not the case at PDQ. The sandwich was simply bigger and better than any other fast food chicken sandwich I've ever had. As a side note they will bring your food to you at your table if they have a minute between customers.

The french fries were a toss up with CFA. The fries were thin cut, not skinny cut like Steak and Shake but not larger cut like Five Guys. I like thicker fries since I think they retain heat longer and they are easier to eat one at a time. Thin fries require messy fingers or a fork and who wants to eat fries with a fork. The flavor was excellent and there were fresh and very hot. CFA also has really good fries when you get them fresh and not as well.

We finished the meal with a few milkshakes, not included in the original $24. We ordered 1 chocolate and 1 vanilla to try both. The chocolate was more flavorful and was tasted like it was made with Hershey syrup. The chocolate was the best I've had in a long time. The vanilla was good but had less flavor. The best milkshakes are chocolate made with vanilla ice cream, not chocolate ice cream. The consistency was excellent and you didn't get the feeling it would not melt if left in the hot sun like a McDonald's milkshake.

As you can tell I was really impressed; I'd have to be to write this review. If you like chicken sandwiches or chicken tenders this is a great choice. If you want chicken on Sunday you now have a great option. PDQ is between a true fast food restaurant and a sit down place. It is one of the cleanest restaurants I've been in lately as well as one of the best laid out and designed. I am looking forward to the new location opening in Wesley Chapel and I know it will be a great success, it is well deserved.

Awesome staff super friendly. Great service. Super quick and hot fresh food

This place consistently provides slow and rude service. For example today it took 28 minutes to complete my order, my order was incomplete (missing tenders) , and the wall slug named Caleb at the register that needs to be on toilet duty and nowhere near customers was extremely rude.
Management here is inept. Called back to express my concern about slug Caleb and my incomplete order only to be told they were busy and would call me back at their earliest convenience. Wow ! This is what happens when you hire slow children like Caleb with attitude problems and high school children to play managers to run your store!
Take you business to other PDQ or Zaxbys near by where they treat you with respect and at least know how to count to five !!

Ok food. Service is quick and easy but wouldn't visit regularly.

Fries were not hot and they just opened but my chicken sandwhich was on point

It's terrible to get in the parking lot...but other than that amazing service and food CONSISTENTLY !

The name says it all. Pretty darn quick. Friendly faces as well.

Great chicken sandwiches, tasty fries, and the sauces are bangin. The drive through gets crowded and moves slow so it s always a gamble vs. going inside to order.

Staff has always been friendly. Outdoor seating, if you will brave the humidity. Popular with military and emergency responders (1st Monday of each month is 1/2 price for military, possibly police as well). Bathroom was clean.

They always nail it here. Food is super fresh tasting and you get it quickly even when they're slammed. Price is reasonable too.

The Honey Dip fried chicken sandwich with pickles is one of my favorites but this trip I saw they have the seasonal Butterball fried turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce and a spiced mayonnaise. Boy was that delicious! I returned the next day for another one. I also got the sweet potato waffle fries with the marshmallow dip which has a hint pumpkin pie spice. Delicious! I never forget to order the best vanilla malt I've ever had. Definitely the best quality drive-thru food out there!

Yummy and customer service is great! Love this place.

One of my favorite places for great fast food. Always fresh, tasty, and the staff are very friendly. Lots of bowl dishes for a healthy meal. A life saver when you are on the go, hungry, and want to avoid having to cook.

Great but service is more machine like than friendly

I've been consistently disappointed by this place. I've had under-cooked chicken, and the fries are always soggy and limp. I've given it a few chances but keep having less than stellar experiences.

If the locations were as plentiful as other fast food restaurants, this would be my #1 spot. Even over Chic fil a, much prefer PDQ sandwiches!! I try and stop by everytime I'm within proximity to one.

If zero stars were an option, I would have gone with that rating. The PDQ in South Tampa on South Dale Mabry Highway has got to be the worst PDQ I have ever been to. They have managed to mess up my order 90% of the time (not sure how you can mess up a Ceasar Salad but they never cease to amaze). They also love to close the store 30 minutes early. If you are going to post that you close at 10:00 PM, then close at 10:00 PM...not 9:30.

I will never go back to this PDQ ever again. The staff has the combined intelligence of an amoeba. I think I will be going to Jimmy John's from now on.

chicken at this location - very tasty. i'll return with my coworkers. prices are appropriate for the quality. food is similar to a place in san francisco i liked.

First time very disappointed the sandwich very cold the fries was then end for them cold, the chiken very greasy the package they throw the fries my order number was 0437 very bad! Fist time I hope not happen again!

Had the Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich. Nothing Hawaiian about it. Over spicy, no pineapple, had Red cabbage, needed coleslaw, I couldn't figure what the sauce was. Ordered the Blueberry Coleslaw, got good French fries.

I thoroughly enjoyed PDQ. Might be a chicken fil a killer. Taste is good, price is good, and the servie is friendly. I went on a Sunday and that is clearly where everyone with a chicken sandwich withdrawal was. Place was busy! But rightfully so with a taste like that.

Love the chicken and sauces. The zucchini fries are great, but I'm only giving 4 stars as the last few times they have been really greasy. Be nice if you could get a small order of them as well.

Get the new Fall harvest meal.Its a Thanksgiving cornacopia in a sandwich! The turkey is delicious and surprisingly tender. Add sweet potatoes waffle fries with marshmellow sauce and you'll transport to Thanksgiving at grandma's house. The sauce on the sandwich is a tasty combo of cranberries and seasonal spices in a mayo consistency. DELICIOUS! Yes, I continued my binge and also tried the pumpkin spice shake. It was v good as well, v sweet though. Chik-file pay attention, PDQ knows how to really do waffle fries.

Fine spot for quality chicken. the service was helpful and kind. this place has many great reviews for a reason.

PDQ sponsored my daughters softball team in Lutz, Florida. I wanted to thank the entire PDQ family also Mr Tim for their generosity. PDQ has definitely raised the bar for future sponsors. With the gift of bat bags to the girls as well as trip to see the Seminoles that really was the icing on the cake for a great season.

I have visited their restaurants in the past prior to their sponsorship and found the food good, as well as the service. The store was clean and well maintained.

They are so over friendly it is creepy! I understand you want to be nice and give great customer service but don't over do it! - their salads suck! I have tried all of them and I rather get the dollar menu Caesar salad instead...
it is so loud when you are in there you cant even have a conversation over the phone because you cant hear the other person...

Nice service, quality food. Not the fastest, but you can't rush some things I guess

Got the chicken bowl, was not happy. The rice was very gummy. It took away the flavor of the dish.

Went through the drive thru last night for 4 tenders and a salad. Got to pickup window and was asked to move up and wait. 10 minutes later, based on order time on receipt, my grandson needed to use the restroom. I parked and went inside. Still no food, used the restroom and came out to our order sitting on the counter. No apologies for taking so long or offers to make up for the wait. Food was handed to us by an off duty employee, no manager in sight.

A nice change to your normal fast food options. Healthy options and delicious chicken sandwiches

Good atmosphere, and like the name (pretty darn quick) it's pretty darn quick

Awesome food strips are great and even though place was pretty full they still had out in like 3 to 5 mins.

Food has downgraded prices has upgraded the stars is for Jasmine green tea & set tes really good DON'T get rid of that like they did the grilled Turkey breast

I've heard lots of great feedback about PDQ and I was sadly underwhelmed by the food. It was quite pricey, and the chicken itself wasn't well breaded. It was a thin breading that did not fully cover the chicken and fell off with an oil, greasy texture.
