Nice place for tent camping. It was nice and quiet, but I'm sure summer months there will be alot more activity. The bathroom/bathhouse on the primitive island needs alot of work...we need warm water for the showers. I think they are in the process of fixing it up and I will be back again. If they fix the bath it would be 5 stars.

I have a special needs child. And she love it especially between the animal feeding and the lagoon. The staff went above and beyond with her at ever turn. Even my wife (who doesn't really like camping) wants to come back. Our other daughter loved finding and feeding the deer/pigs. We had alot of family around and all the kids really stayed entertain. Only things I would like see is more directional signs on the way there. And maybe keep the kids out of the hot tub (I was a little worry about them getting temperature shock ect.) We didn't have much luck with the cell phone signals/wifi. So anything to boost or improve that would be greatly appreciated.

Description was very misleading. First starters, the driveway to get back to the park was an adventure. Deep ruts at the roadway and narrow road to check-in. Gotl at the desk was uninterested and/or rude. She handed me a map and set me on my way. Very confusing "roads" back to our site. Found our way on the pothole, rut filled "road". I did not feel comfortable taking our RV back there, but didnt have much choice. Golf carts are pretty much required, since most of sites are a LONG way from pool and bathhouse. Our site was a peninsula, as it was flooded on 3 sides. Not their fault, but you think they could have at least prepared our site by pulling our picnic table and fire ring out of the 6-10 inches of water they were in. Many minors operating golf carts, not paying attention to people or vehicles. Left after one night of a planned 3 night stay. No refund, despite what their cancellation policy states (forfeit) $25 deposit. OVERRATED.
