Well equipped to host tournaments, bathrooms are decent, large food selection, but the main tournament hall is very hot and they leave the doors open to allow cold air to breeze through. Only problem with that is it causes bloody noses to the players. No lie. 2 back to back, different teams same court. Plus the facility stinks, but i get it....Farmshow.
I grew up visiting this complex for different events. It brings back memories and it has had improvements made every time I come. Get a map for the farm show, it is a large venue.
We go to the PA Farm Show every year mainly for the food and milkshakes but also enjoy walking around seeing the animals. It is a very busy place with lots of people.
Everything that is great about Pa! Definately get a map before you start walking around cuz the grounds are spraling! A milkshake is a must! Everyone is walking around with one! I also loved the maple cotton candy! My fave part is seeing all the animals though, especially the large work horses!
The Pennsylvania farm show is a great place with all kinds of activities. I went to the farm show for the car show and I realy enjoyed myself. They had high security. They also have great food and milkshakes! I recomend going there for the next car show or the next public activity. I promise you will enjoy yourself at the farmshow complex.

Great time, helpful staff, lot of friendly people. Easy to see and find from roadway. We saw baby chicks being hatched from eggs, and cows giving birth to their calfs.. ......Admission is free to the farmshow.......
Went to the PA farm show. There were less exhibitors than there were last year but we still had a ton of fun and found some things to maybe bring to our fair.
Always love coming here! This trip was for the PA state 4-H horse show, that is held every year in October. It's just 4-H kids showing their skills with their horses. They have to qualify to get here though. They go through a county, and district show first before they get to the state show. It's only horses for 3 days!! If you love horses then it's an awesome time to come and the best part it's free to come watch!
In the words of my son, "The Farm Show was too crowded, but I liked the bunnies." This event was so packed with people that we could barely move half the time and it was quite stressful keeping track of my 3 children throughout the day. It was great getting to see so many animals in one place, but the food wasn't that great and the crowds were too much for us!
Gun show was ok. Lots of great stuff. Unfortunately the P.I.C.S. system was down and nobody could buy any. The state should reimburse the dealers for the table fees they had to pay to be there, and then not be able to make any money.
Walked for 8 hours and did not see everything, huge is an understatement, guns, bows, fishing, and hunting. What ever you wanted to see or try out , it was there. I could have spent another whole day looking at everything. I will go again next year
I went mostly for the Food Court where the lines were too long for me to get a milk shake. So I got an apple cider slushy along with a half gallon of Apple cider. I got some breaded mushrooms which were delicious. There was so much else to eat, I suggest that you get there early and with plenty to spend.
This place breaks just about every life safety code in the book. Dirty, crowded, and a complete maze. If there is an emergency during the farm show good luck saving yourself.
Love that they have places for people with sensory overload to decompress. Shows forward thinking and compassion! Nice big sheds too. Double doors for wheelchair access!
Nice that everything is in indoors. Would like to have better and more food choices during the horse World Expo event. Entrance is awkwardly placed in relationship to the parking lot
While the farm show complex itself is nice, the "great American outdoor show" is terrible. Every booth looks like a click bait pop up ad for a hunting trip or fishing charter. Why anyone would buy a multiple day pass to the outdoor show is beyond me.
Visited the Outdoor farmers market. Very friendly people there. I enjoyed the visit. I even bought a book explaining the beliefs of the Amish and Mennonite groups.
Great gun and knife show. A bit slow to get people in the building. It was cold and windy that day. Was able to get a great handicap parking space. Did buy a great bushcraft knife and a couple of good swords for my two Grandsons. Those selling jerky was great excellent jerky. No pressure to buy and all the sellers that I had talked to for purchases offered great lower prices than was on their items and others were also a great resource of information and education... such as forging knives and tyoe of metals and handles, etc... I was able to get a great hand forged Damascus steel bushcraft knife. Love it. Can not wait to go again in August.
