PA Farm Show Complex Review

A lot of walking and not worth it for the car show. YOU DO BETTER TO JUST GO TO A DEALER..

Great fun, great food, great people and lots of animals!

A wide variety of activities happen here. It is easy to get in the parking lot and they have a lot of parking space.

I used to love going here but I gotta say it isn't that great of an experience anymore. There are so many rude ppl here that look at you as if your below them and it's your fault. They bump into you and don't apologize or acknowledge you. No one says excuse me they jus shove you outta the way. Sad to say but the more I go here the more I see how messed up society is. A simple apology goes a long way. The art and stuff there is beautiful and the food is good

I went to the farmshow on January 4 with my 2 year old and she loved the bunnys out of all the animals. It was great.

Clean shuttles,clean bathrooms,plenty of security,plenty of food, fun experience oce again!

I was amazed at the low prices for fresh vegetables and fruits. Some of the vendors need to work on their patience and attitude but the majority greet you with a smile and great patience. In the words of Cardi B, the fresh vegetables was "Deliciooouuusss okrrrr" okay I didn't get it exactly right but you get my point. I definitely saved a lot of money by purchasing my fruits and vegetables from the farmers market.

First visit to their Christmas Craft Show, we'll be back!

Lots of parking for the event though a bit expensive

A large facility with a ton of parking. The buildings can get quite dirty from all the activities inside.

Definitely a good turn out, Motorama was awesome, and shout out to the law for helping with the crossing of the streets!

Went for car show, was very happy to se they had the milkshakes from the farm show.

Great place. Many good opportunities and people to meet.

I go to this place one a year in June/July to attend a 3 day convention and it is very organise and well suited for the event. Clean and the aircondioning is very well maintained. The parking facility is also more then sufficient for thousand cars at walking distance. Overall a great place for gathering for few thousands. I like this facility.

Was here for the auto show. The auto show was a little disappointing but it was amazing how they could transform the farm show complex from a place with a bunch of animals to a place with a bunch of cars, pretty amazing.

Love going to the Pennsylvania State Farm show every year! Large facility with many events throughout the year.

There is so much history with this complex. Most of it is very old, but it is well cared-for and solid. There are bathrooms everywhere. No matter what event you go for, if you are in the old section, it will smell like a barn. The new section smells fresher.

The annual Farm Show is a must-see at least once, though it doesn't have the same farming glory of the 1900s shows. The 3-season Farmers Market on Tuesday and Thursday provides fresh local produce and some imported from north and south, as well as fresh flowers, wine, cheese, and organic meat. Pretty good french fries, too.

It is difficult for me to rate the Farm Show yearly 1 week event that is held at the Farm show complex in Harrisburg because going there is almost a religious event for me. The wholesome meter for this free event ($15 parking) is off the scale (bends the needle). It is cliche to say that there is something for everyone but this is the one event where this is absolutely true. There are so many must-have foods that I can't list them all. I love watching the youngsters care for their show animals, oftentimes sleeping with them in their stalls. The butter sculpture is especially good this year!

Cool fun events but they can be a little pricey and paying to park sucks...must be a good event or you won't catch me there

This facility is a nice one. I was here for a horse show event. It is a nice large facility. There was plenty of parking for trailers and vehicles. There was also plenty of space to move around and store belongings at the area were the barns were setup. What was also nice is that the barns were setup indoors so you could go from arena to barn, barn to arena, or just walk your horse around the facility without even having to go outside. Which was especially nice since it was drizzling/raining 90% of the time we were there.

Great event, highly recommend checking it out of you haven't been. Great food, good activity to watch.

First time visiting for the Fire Expo. A lot more walking than I anticipated. I was ready to go after a few hours

Very well maintained facility. From Connecticut over here. But came down to the horse expo. Enjoyed the show on Friday night. Never have seen anything like it. The parking was great, there was plenty. Restrooms where extremely well kept and ticket prices wherent outrageous either. Will come back another time for other events held here.

Farm shows always a good time I go every year with my daughter for the last 15 years

Expensive concession. Nice and very friendly workers. Smell of manure, but you get used to that quickly. Did need allergy pills from straw/hay even though we were only there for volleyball tournament. No animals around at all.

Went to fire expo there kids and I had a nice day together

Great place for expos. You could very well get lost if you wanted to. Prices are high for food and $10 parking is a little much, pick one not both. Would have given a 5 star review if they didn't try to squeeze every cent out of you they thought they could get away with

Went for the farm show. Great way to spend the day with or without kids. Very crowded though. You don't have to be a farmer to find something cool. Cooking classes, animals, lots of neat food, latest products etc. Do yourself a favor and go sometime.

Went to the Great American Outdoor Show here a couple of months ago. The facility is enormous, but is showing its age. Oh well, it is a farm show complex, so there is no surprise that it tends toward the down and dirty atmosphere.

Go every year. It's a family event. The milk shakes are outstanding.

Parking can be a pain but depending on the venues you go to see it can be a fun time. Facility is clean and well kept.

The 2018 was great, I went on a rainy/snowy afternoon and there was no crowd , it was nice getting around with the stroller without worrying about running over people. So much to and see very educational.

Annual great american outdoor show, is above the best and biggest. Wont ever miss a year i hope

Very informative and educational, something for all ages, all the different vendors and venues.

Was there for Christmas. My only problem was security was parking venders in area usually reserved for handicapped.

Very good got there this morning 45 minutes before it opened 9 it open we got in. No problem at all walked around But as time goes by the vendors change. different ones that was a lot of AR aftermarket accessories there a whole lot.... Ammunition and shell prices we're in line some of the quantity discounts were pretty good.. I thought the food was just a little high but that's vendors I understand and not they are open everyday like McDonald's to got to make it in three day five days ...

Horse World Expo is always my favorite event at the Farm show complex!

Great location for any size trade show or expo. Easy access parking and plenty of local hotels and restaurants to choose from. Access to I-81 is super easy. Definitely a venue to come back to and one that you would hope to be used for your next event or show.

I'm here at least once if not twice a year for Fire Expo or The Great American Outdoor Show

A great big facility for huge events. It can be confusing to navigate your way around the different levels.

Went for the NRA Great American Outdoor Show. Wow this place is massive! It took us 2 days to visit most of the vendors.

Huge facility in an easily accessible area. Really liked the facility and would consider another show at this spot.

They have alote of good fun and educational things here for adults and kids

This was the Pennsylvania gun show at the farm show location in Harrisburg. Great show. So much to see from guns, boats hunting, water fowl, dogs, it was great. Good food vendor's also.

Lots to see, do and buy. $10 cash parking fee. Not sure on ticket price, since I was working the expo
